Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Callie might have taken the time to tell Alexis that the clothes she had were all new, and had not been worn, but she decided not to push the girl. She deserved her independence, even if Callie was soon going to be, in more ways than one, her mentor. Up in one of the rooms, Callie sat down on the bed. While it was quite possible there was going to be visitors in the inn, Callie was rather taking the chance to be on her own for a few moments. She bowed her head, and closed her eyes. Flashes of images reached her, all clamoring at once for her attention, yet she simply let them come, knowing if she didn’t, they’d overwhelm her throughout the day, and that was not something that she could afford to happen.

Myra, clearly frustrated, her knuckles white against a steering wheel. A young woman running across town, clearly afraid of something. Xerses in a room, with some of the teenagers there, two injured. A small dog, a pup, barking, a girl’s laughter echoing across the vision, two boys snuggled together in a beanbag. Zoe, in her pub, a flash of recognition, and then it was gone. And finally, a car pulling up, and old friends climbing out.

She gave a soft sigh, opening her eyes. She rubbed her temples a moment. Callie’s clairvoyance was a little different to Leo’s. Leo often saw things both before and after they happened, whereas Callie often saw things moments, sometimes half an hour before they happened. She couldn’t control it, not really. It was, generally speaking, the strongest future slamming itself against her consciousness. She took a few moments to gather herself, before she rose, smoothing her clothes, she glanced around the room, and with a few muttered spells, it was sorted.

Making her way back downstairs, just as two people she might never have expected to see walk through her door came through it, if she had not just seen the vision. ”Sombra. James” She said, nevertheless delighted, approaching them, she threw her arms around both of them, ”I’ve missed you, both” She hugged them tight, before stepping back, and muttered the exact words that would let her talk to Alexis, through the charms.

”Alexis, would you come here a moment?” She asked the girl
Selina

Selina stayed where she was, staring at her cell phone. There really was no putting it off any longer-her father would find out she wasn’t at her job sooner or later, and he’d need to find someone else to cover the job. And she needed information. She sighed heavily, and picked up her phone, dialing the number. Her father answered relatively quickly, and Selina winced. Part of her had wanted him to not answer.

”Selina” Her father’s voice was full of joy at the unexpected call, and guilt twisted Selina’s heart. She shouldn’t have dreaded the call. How could he know that she had...No. She wouldn’t even think it. And yet she couldn’t stop thinking about her...Selina gripped her phone tightly, not tight enough to smash it.

”Papa” Selina said, her voice quiet, her tone soft, she took a few seconds to choose the words carefully, ”Papa, I’m not going to be able to make it to my job. I’ve been waylaid. An alpha werewolf attacked a group of teenagers, last night. I’m going to stick around, and see what I can find out” She said, Isn’t there a hunter in Klamath Falls? Retired, right?”

There was silence for a few moments, before her father responded, ”Selina” Selina winced again. She knew that tone of voice. She decided to cut him off before he got into his stride. ”Papa, I know what I’m doing. I’m not going to attack anyone, until I know what’s going on. I just want to know about the hunter here so I don’t step on any toes” She said, before giving a sigh.

There was silence again, although this time Selina recognised it as her father’s thinking tone. So she sat back, and waited for him to respond. ”The hunter’s name is Kareena D’Nile. A formable hunter, she knows of your existence, but not what you are. Do well to tread carefully around Kareena, she might not take well to you. Be careful, Selina”

Selina smiled, ”I will be, Papa” She promised, and for a moment, she was on the verge of telling him about...what had happened, but she stopped herself. That wouldn’t be wise, for either of them. So instead she said goodbye, and hung up. Now she had a couple of paths, but she thought she’d still go with finding the female alpha. It shouldn’t be too hard. She’d want to check on the new pups. And any who weren’t healing, who’d be in the hospital. Selina thought on that for a few moments, before she rose, starting to move. She started towards the hospital.

When there, she didn’t get far. Having preferred to stay out of sight, Selina had made her way through the staff carpark, sneaking through. Which was, perhaps, a mistake. Hindsight put nearly everything into perspective. She watched a doctor...and one whiff was enough to tell her that he wasn’t human, get out a Bentley, followed by two girls. Selina’s heart stopped, her gaze immediately going to the blonde haired of the two.

Shit.

She turned and fled, silently through the garage, and out into the sunlight once more. She didn’t stop running until she was as far as she could go without leaving the town. She leaned over, squeezing her eyes shut. Why did this have to happen to her?

Myra

Myra closed her eyes at a stop light, gripping the steering wheel tightly as she listened to the endless chatter over the radio from the cop trailing the car. ”Doesn’t seem like i’ve been spotted, looks as though there are two people in the car…’. Her heart clenched. Sombra. If it was James Burke there, then he had better have Sombra, or he would face her wrath. Her knuckles were going white as she gripped the wheel just about as tightly as she could. And if he did have Sombra with him, then they both had some explaining to do. Arlo barked happily, his paws on the passenger window, and looked over to her, just as the light went green. Opening her eyes, Myra continued to drive, listening to the chatter continue.

Gods, this kid. Where was his senior partner? Too full of eagerness, Myra suspected the kid might have just gone off, eager to please her. She growled, the sound entirely human, one of frustration and fury. She would not abide by slopping police work. She’d deal with that after she dealt with her daughter. And her daughters...Myra snarled. And then Myra’s fury reached an all time high, as ”Oh, shit! I think they made me!”. Oh, yes, that kid was going to be in trouble.

Myra listened as the kid said that the car had stopped at Cedar Ash inn, and that he’d continued on, hadn’t got a good look at the people within the car, but Myra knew. Cedar Ash Inn, if the two had followed other’s lives here, would be the only place they’d go, sure of at least a cordial welcome. Sombra would go to Callie. The only person who wouldn’t, beyond a doubt, tell her that Sombra was in town.

Myra sighed. She couldn’t do anything, so long as they were at the inn. Myra had a deep respected for Callie, and she wouldn’t disturb the witch’s home, and living. Which just frustrated Myra even more. She nevertheless continued to drive towards the inn. Arlo yipped, and sat watching her, as if aware that she was ready to…do something. Anger was what all Flores women were use to, yet Myra wasn’t sure that that would be wise to throw at Sombra. The girl had a strong will, and Myra had long since understood that they were so much alike…which was probably the route of a lot of their problems.

Myra loved her daughter. Myra had fought every day, tooth and nail, for her children. She had fought her own parents, even before they had been born. And she would continue to fight for them, every day of her life. It was a heck of a lot easier to deal with Alex, not that they hadn’t had their hardships. It was just so much harder, to deal with Sombra. Because she didn’t know how, and she didn’t want to lose her again. She stopped a few blocks away, and lowered her head onto the steering wheel.

”Come on boy, let's go for a walk” Arlo yipped, and wagged his tail happily, as Myra retrieved his leash.

Cody couldn’t really explain what it was, to have Aron fit so perfectly in his arms. It just...seemed so right, and for a few moments, Cody cursed the time they could have had, had either of them decided to take a chance earlier. Yet maybe it was better this way. Maybe it was more, for the simple fact that it was the right time. Perhaps they would never know. Cody just relished these few moments of peace, ,with Aron. Watching Aron a moment, it was quite clear that Aron was struggling, and perhaps failing a little, against sleep. It was rather charming, and Cody smiled, a soft, loving smile that made him seem younger than he was. Or maybe it just showed how young her was. Barely old enough to be considered an adult. He sighed softly, and hugged Aron tighter to him, returning the rather delicious kiss.

”Sleep, Aron” He said softly, ”I’ll be here, watching” He promised, quite intent on staying close to Aron. He closed his own eyes, and over a few moments, Cody once more became aware of everything that was going on around him. Aron’s scent, wafting over him, a comfort and a happy feeling of...satisfaction filling him as he took it in, Aron’s breathing, a steady rhythm that made Cody happy, birds around them, the sound of small critters, faint, but there. Everything seemed to be heightened, like before he’d been living in...2D, and now it this was what 3D was.

Or maybe it was simply 4-D now.

Cody analysed it all, letting it filter through his mind, and simply trying to understand it all. Maybe it was easier because Aron was there, and wasn’t that a little strange? Was this something more, what they had? Was it related to...what they now were? Cody blinked, thinking on that for a few moments, a little unsure how he felt about that, yet...if it gave him Aron, did it really matter? He thought on that for a few seconds, not sure what it all meant. He looked back to Aron, and a smile spread across his features once more.

It didn’t matter.

He settled back, keeping Aron close, more than content to simply sit with Aron, and relax for a time. Aron could definitely use it, and Cody was happy to be his...security. He might not truly understand what was going on, but that was something he could understand. The simple security of love, did wonders for everyone.
Niesha

Location:Building Seven (rec)

Niesha looked over as Kristina approached her, and gave her friend a nod. She looked back up to the stars, thoughtfully. She let a silence fall between them as Kristina asked her that question. There were many possible answers to that question, and Niesha simply let the thoughts float around her head for a moment, before figuring out how to answer. ”Yes. And no. I always think of Sophia. Just as I always think of my brother. No...Sometimes, even now, being in a crowd can be a little overwhelming” She gave a soft laugh, shaking her head again.

”You would think, now of all times, I’d crave being around people, given what is out there, but I have always been a...creature that despises crowds. Sometimes...it’s nice to just come out. And watch the stars. In this world of ever changing...rules, situations, whatever, it’s nice to know that the stars never really change.” She said, well aware she was getting a little philosophical on Kristina, and she gave her friend a smile. ”Sometimes, Kris, there’s just a lot going on, up here, and in here” She said, tapping her head, and then her heart, ”And it can be difficult to process the emotions...when I have difficulty understanding them.”

She gave a shrug, and turned to Kristina, seeming to think for another moment or two. Should she tell Kristina, what she had found? She found that it was churning around in her head, and it might do some good to talk with someone about it. She hadn’t seen Victor around for a time, and Tatiana deserved time off. No telling when she’d get to speak to either of them. Sighing softly, she said ”Kris? What would you do, if you’d found something, but didn’t know if you could speak with anyone about it?”
Yeah....I just feel so bad that I didn't notice before hand. I know I've been swamped but...

Jamie

I just needed to get away...

Even as she wrote the words, Jamie knew that they would sound crazy to her father, her brother. Yet as she stared at her younger brothers text I miss you already! Stay safe, Jamie! Love Adam, She couldn't help but feel guilty. This wasn't the first time that she had just up and left, that she had just...disappeared. Of course, she had always told them she was going away, but she never told them why. The truth was, she didn't actually know why herself.

Was it foolish to feel trapped, when she wasn't?

She reached up and played with her necklace, that she always wore, sighing and looking out the window, not yet replying to her brother. Her rucksack was between her feet, and there was an annoying teenager sitting next to her, chatting continuous on her phone, the girls parents paying her no mind. The girl was increasingly growing on Jamie's nerves, yet she wasn't sure if that was due to her own troubling thoughts, or something else. She rested her head against the window, feeling guilty, yet...she could never say what drew her to go away, but it seemed that whenever she did, she found a piece of herself, something that she didn't know was lost, but that nevertheless made her feel...just a little bit...whole. Her adopted father, brother had given her everything she needed, and yet....part of her needed to just do what she was doing. Finding...something. It was like having a normal life, going to collage, having a part time job made her feel trapped, and these little adventures made her feel...better.

Was that crazy?

She didn't know. And it was that that made her hesitate in responding to her little brother, even as Tahoe lodge came into view. As the bus began to turn into the lot, Jame looked back down at her phone, and drew in a deep breath, her fingers flying over the touch screen as she wrote I know, I miss you too! Love you, don't be a pain to dad! I'll be home soon, I promise! before putting the phone away in a pocket, and gathering her rucksack. As she waited for the girl to move-Jamie actually considered poking the girl to get her to notice that she was waiting, that they had arrived, Jamie sighed softly. When she finally clambered off the bus, glad to be away from the annoying girls chatter, she looked around. At once, the view astonished her, and she spun about to take it all in. It was just...so beautiful, and she felt...free. Smiling, she started to the building, hoping that there would be rooms available as she jogged ahead of the annoying girl and her family. She hadn't given a thought to booking, just packed, and escaped. She didn't relish sleeping outside.

Laughter behind her made her glance over her shoulder. Annoying phone girl was laughing, a high pitched laugh that set Jamie's teeth on edge, and saying "I know! It's like if you can't dress right, don't go outside! I mean pink and neon yellow? Ick!"

Jamie looked down at her clothes, unsurprised to see that she was indeed wearing pink and neon yellow. Pink leggings, a yellow jacket, and a plain white shirt. She rolled her eyes, finding the girl petty. Like all teenager girls, or like all teenage girls in her experience. If the girl had left it at that, Jamie would have ignored her. But she didn't.

"OMG she just looked at her clothes and rolled her eyes, how oblivious can you be?!"

By now the girl's parents had gone passed her, and we're at the counter waiting to check in. Well, if they weren't going to parent her, then Jamie would do something about it. She approached the girl, who seemed shocked. Jamie merely smiled, flicking ber long blonde hair over a shoulder, she plucked the girls phone out her hand, "may I?" She asked sweetly, before talking into the phone, "I knew girls like you in school, and guess what? Flipping burgers now because they can't count past ten, oh and your little friend? Has had a booger hanging from her nose the entire phone conversation" she smiled again, and handed the phone back to the girl, trotting off without a word, and going to see if she could get a room.

Perhaps luck was with her, as she got a room. Heading to it, she spent a wonderful Half hour showering off the night on the bus, and making herself feel human again. She tied her hair back to let it dry, as she dressed in bright green pants, a blue jacket and brown long sleeved shirt. Her clothes might be eccentric, but what did she care? Taking out the few course books she had brought, she flicked through the marked chapters, and rolled her eyes. She'd look at it later.

Rising, she left the room, key and other essentials going into a pocket. She headed to the lobby, intending to check the what you can do brochures. A few hours of fun was what she needed. And then she'd study. Which reminded her to text her study buddy to make sure she was studying the right stuff. And to call the book store to make sure they knew she was away. And she would have to call Adam, before he called her. But she'd have fun.

Chuckling to herself, she trotted over to the brochures.
Phoebe glanced about them, curiously. Over the course of her training, Phoebe had taken pains to understand weapons, although she wasn’t particularly efficient with them yet. Something she wanted to rectify. And it seemed, the sooner the better. “I might just...rely on my abilities for this. I haven’t really worked with weapons, for a while…” She said, looking to Katherin who seemed intent on finding a weapon. She watched her friend, and then smiled slightly, “Hey, Kat? Have you ever thought of like, a cyroblaster? You could fuel it with your own abilities...like a freeze gun type thing” Perhaps it wasn't wise to be talking like this, but the idea had just come in her mind, and she wanted to see what her friend thought.

Kalinda watched Griffin a moment, before she followed him, looking up at the swords, she pursed her lips, studying them. Glinda had little skill with swords, and knew she should try them, yet. So she shifted, moving over to the guns, she picked one up. She chose one, and grabbed the right bullets for it, slipping it into her belt, she grabbed another one, doing the same, and then looked back to Griffin, knowing he could handle himself she nevertheless wanted to check on him. Shee what he was using.

Trusting Kijani, Connor took to the air, quickly doing an aerial scan, he then dropped down by Kijani, his visor retreating for a moment, he gave her an encouraging smile, crouching, and examining the building. “Hm. I think we will have to be careful, but we should be alright to go ahead” he said
