Greetings. If you are ______ ______-san, then you just got recruited to Hybrid Academy! You got in because you met certain prerequisites that our academy is looking for. We are honoured to accept your presence to our academy and to make sure everything goes out smoothly, we hope you can agree to these conditions:

☐ You agree that you will not fight amongst other students, unless the fight has been authorized
☐ You agree to our pact to secretly. We would like our teaching methods to be hidden from the rest of the world, for your own safety and the school's.

April 1st. The day of opening ceremonies all across Academy City. Schools were getting ready for their students, and Hybrid Academy was no exception. It was still early for most students to wake up, but the adults were hard at work with the preparations. At a glance, Hybrid Academy looked peaceful, but one would find themselves extremely wrong once they look inside...

Faculty Lounge

"Are the papers organized?" asked Mr. Principle
"I'll do that." said sensei1
"How are those preparations going?" asked Mr. Principle
"At about half way done?" said sensei2
"Oh, come on, we have until nine before the ceremony. No more breaks until everything is in place." said Mr. Principle

People relaxing in the lounge groaned. "Well? Get a move on! You too, Kenobi-sensei. You haven't even done anything since you came in!" The man the headmaster addressed was sitting on a chair, calmly sipping some tea. Everyone in the room scrambled out the room, but he seemed too preoccupied with drinking to answer the headmaster. Mr. Principle sighed. "To think you are in the administration..." Soon, he too went out the room, leaving Kenobi-sensei alone in the room.

Kenobi-sensei lightly placed his cup on the table. He took out his pocket watch and flipped it open. He smiled and closed it. "Plenty of time." Finally, the Level 5 teacher rose and prepared himself for the event he had participated for five years in succession.

PROLOGUE

7 in the morning

It has been five months since I became Level 5; Absolute Zero huh? Blood and cold did pay off, now for the main course. Hybrid Academy....I've been chosen to be part of this type of high school. I bet there aren't many boys nor girls, it's too tedious to mingle with complexity. Ria in the subway making her way to school.

Walking through the alleys of a subway, a lone figure, carrying a scythe wrapped in clothes over her shoulder, made her way to the next subway stop. It was really troublesome, since the pay of a teacher didn't actually leave her enough to buy a car of her own, at least not yet. The sole sight of her could send a chill down the spine of anyone. Not only did the weapon she was carrying looked deadly, but the fact that her skin was blue also creeped people out as she passed by them. The woman paid them no mind, though. "Where is it again? I should get the principal to come get me one of these days." She sighed with exhasperation.

Even if I'm a Level 5 Cryomaster, I happen to be one of the most ironic people here in Academy City, getting my own medicine of a chill through my spine. "Oi.....Bukimina-ao Onna(Blue creep woman) what are are you doing? You're scaring people." Ria shows her concern and curiosity but in a cold way as grade schooler kids were somehow distaste with her sight and scared. By that logic, she sees her as a threat but no, analysis comes first.

Kae continued on walking, even after hearing someone shouting. It wasn't until much later that she actually took up the insult thrown at her. "Ah, she was talking about me." Turning her head around and her neck bending in an almost unnatural way, Kae turned to see her agressor. After seeing it was but a brat, Kae couldn't hold in how funny she thought it was. "Pfffftt..." Escaped her lips, before she continued on with her way, searching for where the subway would stop next.

Ria thought to herself, should she follow or should she not? Either way, it's none of her business. Suddenly!

Streets

In the streets just nearby the train station in a seemingly dark alley, a gathering of level 0's who are up to no good is picking on a group of defenseless middle schooler girls. "You got nowhere to run girls, you got nowhere to run. Now do us a favor and give us your money or we're not gonna give you one hell of a ride in our car." They threaten. They call themselves the Akuran Gang, notorious level 0's who offers services of selling illegal drugs and giving car rides for guilty pleasures and whatnot. They have been at it for almost 5 years.

Ria rushes to the scene and halt them. "Relax boys" She throws rocks on them.

"Another girl, lucky for you, we always wanted to invite beautiful young ladies like you and to think you have the guts to throw rocks on us, you're something else. Boys! get ready we're gonna take her on. How about a ride ha?"

Hearing the ruckus going on outside, Kae decides to go check up on what's happening. After arriving to the scen, she merely found a group of thugs trying to mug some middle schoolers. It was truly pathetic. Kae would have done something, just for the sake of appearances, to help them, when the bratty brat from before showed up and decided to stand up for them. Blending in with the darkness perfectly thanks to her scythe, Kae watches everything unfold, judging whther or not she should help.

"GGGYYYAAHHHH!!!" One of the mugglers put Ria against the wall, getting a hold of her in an instant. She herself is calm. "What's wrong kid? Got nothin'? Why no struggle?" The muggler harrassing her and to those who passes by, these people can't even do anything than just be cowards.

Seeing her getting beaten up but still calm makes Kae still her sword, err, scythe. Still, they might indeed be a bit too much for a single girl to handle. As in with a comedy show, her scythe suddenly appears from the shadows and drags one of the muggers alongside her into the shadows, no one noticing at all when he disappeared.

She turns her attention, calm as ever. "Bukimina ao Onna... " She stares nonchalantly with a hilarious expression and casually said. "Go away, I don't need your help." Just like that then the mugglers mock. "OOHH!! You really want it do you? OH you're asking for it." Ria isn't phased by their idiocy. The middle schoolers were shouting in fear to why Ria just blew it.

"Oh, is that so?" Kae said, still blending in with the shadows and invisible to the naked eye. A single hand comes out and leaves the thug unconscious in the floor. "Then I'll be taking my leave." She says, but even though she says so, she does not really move, merely using the shadows as an illusion to make it seem as if she had already left.

"You just blew your chance of help. Well.. well round em' boys. We're gonna have one hell of a ride!BBRRRRR.... It's getting cold here. Is the weather forecast punking on us?" He said but one of the mugglers looked frightened thinking that Ria took down their friend. "What a waste."

"Relax boys." Ria froze one of them like he is stuck in ice but it wouldn't last for long as the water content on the pavement is not enough so what Ria actually did was make him feel all chill and the guy's appearance was so pale and filled with little chunks of mini ice shards.

They still showed no fear, "An Esper huh? This will be good. Boys.. don't hold back." Their boss said. One tried attacking Ria. She then freeze the wet pavement and make it so slippery as the guy got trolled and hit his head on the floor the impact was hard its because he rushed at her.

"Two down! one to go, let go of the girl." Ria was acting all hero but then the guy rushed and punched Ria on her face, putting her on the ground.

"You got the nerve! Is that all you got? because we're not letting them go!" And in that instant, a scythe posed itself on the guys neck, without the cloths on, the sharp blade made some blood come out of the guy's neck.

"I see... And what if I ask nicely? I can give you something in return. Like, going back to your house with your head still attached to your body." Kae said, threatening the guy.

"Ha! We're not falling for that trick you creep!" The guy is bleeding but he still took it like a boss. "We'r---OOWWHH!!" His lower half of his body got frozen.

Situations like this makes her not satisfied. Ria gets up and suddenly... SHE STRIPS!!!
"You wanna know what I've got. Here's what I've got." But sadly it was an ice clone.

"You know. I'm not stupid enough to jump on scenarios like this. Even I have contingency plan. You guys aren't cool at all. Seriously, picking up defenseless girls? How extremely low of you and you call yourselves drug dealers... ha... perfect because you're smoking nonsense." Ria mocks. One of the guys.. "WHY YOU!!---" He was instantly frozen solid like sculpture.

The rest of his boys started running away while the boss is the only one left. "And the party don't start till I walk in?" She said.

"D-DON'T TELL ME!. Yo--." Ria stripped for real this time. He unfroze his lower part. Stripping wasn't just for show. It got the leader's lust frozen as in he just stared at her nice body figure while Ria runs to him and gives him a kick to his crotch and freeze his chest thus sending a freeze to his body. "GGRRRZZZZZ.... A..a.a....a.a...a.a... IMMMPPOSSSIIBBBLLEE... DDD-DDDON'T T-tteell MMemzmzmzmmeme Yoou --yyouu aareee..." He can't continue because he notices the alley was covered in thick layers of ice and snow. Only one person can do that...

She smiled sarcastically. "Sorry for the shocking image. I'm Absolute Zero, nice to meet you."

Ria's stripping habit gained a raised eyebrow, but nothing more. Even after she was all done and Kae has taken her scythe back, Kae's eyes were glued to her chest. Staring, staring..... "Pffttt." She let out, mocking Ria's unexistant breasts. "This isn't even worth commenting on. I shall see you later, miss Level 5." Kae said, before disappearing for real this time in the shadows.

And in that same moment, a single agent of Judgement arrived, with white hair and pink eyes. "Freeze! Judgement desu no has arrived!" Noboyuki made his entrance. Still, he didn't think the thugs would take it that literally, his, freeze. "Wha.... I didn't even get some action." He lamented.

"Tch.." She crosses her arms after the creepy blue woman disappeared and at the same time she was startled by the guy popping out of nowhere so she froze his lower half as well in ice. The thugs were nodding their heads and take the freeze pun literally. "Ouuu......." She stares at the guy. "Yuki-kun huh?" She recognizes the Judgement member. "Long time no see. You're half the man I used to know." She said it seriously, comically seriously.

"Hey, what the hell!? I'm with the good guys, you idiot!" He barked back. "And don't call me so casually by my first name! I'm in duty right now!" Still, the pun about the half man.... it was plain terrible, horrible. At least, for anyone in his actual position. "And who's fault do you think it is, idiot!? Hurry up and undo this!" And suddenly, his maso side comes out to shine. "Or, ya know what... leave it there for a bit more. It's starting to feel good. I feel like I'm getting frostbite."

She smirked and unfroze him. "We're late for school. Go and put some pants on, you have no pants and underwear." That's what happens for doing such a strong freeze. If clothes or any object or person becomes solidified, they get broken to pieces and will be gone alongside the ice, that is the power of Absolute Zero. "Put some clothes on, Mr. Exhibitionist."

"I don't wanna hear that from you! Goddammit, can't you be more careful?" Noboyuki said, while he started getting up and started running full speed back to his house. Still... "I could get used to this, though." He sais, with an slightly satisfied look in his face.

"No...no.." He froze him solid again. This time Ria took her time to get dressed up and unfroze him. "Here you can wear this thug's clothes."

"All right, all right." He snatches away the pants of one guy. He wasn't about to wear their underwear, though. "This much is fine, I'll get something on school. C'mon, we gonna get late if you continue playing around." Noboyuki scolds her and this time starts making his way to school for real, hoping Ria will not interrupt him again.

The first thought on Ria's mind,"My.... breaking rules already on the first day? sheesh! it doesn't get any cooler than this well I did save that girl. Only save her because she's one of my types." That's for the girls though.

Then the girl was beside her, "Onee-chan! here is your ticket! Mama and Papa could at least repay you for your heroic action in saving me!, what's your name?."

Ria was so happy to get a free ticket and she doesn't have to waste money. "Absolute Zero is my name."

The crowd started hearing her name and they were like. "Level 5??!?!?!!"

Ria runs quickly with her friend.

My life really gets cooler and better, a cute doll girl and a free ride, I should be at ease,hmmmm......"

Few minutes later they arrives at the school, she first made her way to the registration room and show her application and then she heads to the school hall where the Ceremony is going to be held, "I guess I'm too early, I'll just chill around here."
Ria with all the time she has, she might as well take a tour but instead she decided to sit down on one of the seats near her.

The first time I see a Magician in Judgement, I can see both conflict and awesomeness going for the group and character's future.

@ClocktowerEchos Superb and dope. Your character is by far one of the unique I have seen. That being said I got plans for it too just like Len and the rest.

Preset Powers
Drum-roll please!

Try to use the powers listed here, as it is much easier to do so. You get to set your own Level, create one signature move plus an extra skill that goes along with your ability. You can change the name of the ability to your liking (recommended). It should somehow relate to the actual ability. Remember to put the original name of the ability in the character sheets though. Keep in mind that the higher the level, the higher the likelihood that I will reject your power and the fewer AP you will be able to earn. Skills usually enable the user to use their ability in a way with less energy than normal, or can just be a special skill that allows you to do something that most people with the same ability cannot. You can add extra skills, moves, etc, but your character will not learn them yet until later in the story (I'll try to include this into the Achievement/Power System). Below examples are there to help you figure out how to make your ability sheet. It is what you will turn in for the Bank. It is not, however, what you will show me in your OOC post. The ability sheet in the OOC should include more details. If you are still confused, just ask me or do what you think is right and I will help correct it.

Ex.
Liquid Slate (Hydrokinesis): Level 3; Micro
Special Skill: [Nameless] can breathe in water by undissolving oxygen out of water
Signature Move: Water Pistol- By compressing the water in an area, [Nameless] can shoot out the pressurized water at very fast speeds and potentially cut through steel.
Disadvantages: As a move used to cut, it lacks in overall destructive power.

Ex.
Intensity Shock (Acoustokinesis): Level 4; Micro-macro
Special Skill: [Nameless] can use echolocation to map out his surroundings with ease
Signature Move: Snap Shock- As a finisher, [Nameless] snaps his fingers, then increases the sound waves to their maximum before directing it to the target(s) in a form of a massive sound shockwave.
Disadvantages: Solely used as a finisher, it is lacking in true destructive power.

You must choose between a skill or power type character (Micro or Macro). Over time, you may change them into a Micro-macro or Macro-micro if you want, or you could stay true to one of the two types.
Ex. Someone with Aerokinesis can either be able to cause extremely powerful winds or extremely precise and controlled winds

Note: By creating certain conditions and limits, you can boost certain parts of your ability. These conditions may be permanently or momentarily engraved into your character's ability, depending on what type of conditions they are. Below examples are all permanent conditions that hinder or aid the characters. Put these conditions under your ability name. If you do not have any, simply leave it blank.

Ex. This Hydrokinesis has boosts in her ability to take in water in the air at the price of the overall water volume she can hold being lower.
Ex. This Acoustokinesis cannot create his own sounds. He can only amplify and manipulate existing sound waves, but overall energy consumption is lower.

Note2: It's an unspoken rule that having duplicate powers is not allowed. Though you are entitled to use whatever power listed here, some might not like it if you have the same power as one of their characters.

Acoustokinesis: Sound Control. Can manipulate the sound waves present.

Pros:
- Can create sounds that disrupt the balance of living things, stop people from hearing what people are saying, and create deafening bursts that render people useless
- In higher levels, one can create sounds with the same effect as Capacity Down (User may be affected as well so be warned)
- As well in higher levels, one can create blades, shockwaves, and explosions made of sound, which in turn travel in the speed of sound
- Sensitive hearing
- Can cause sound to go in a very directional area, so someone beside you may not be able to hear your sound creation
Cons: Avoided because they tend to eavesdrop.
- Such sensitive hearing could be deadly
- No such thing as going above the speed of sound
- While using sound abilities, user is usually not immune to them (using a Capacity Down sound frequency may be the most deadly against the user)
- Though you can cause the sound to go very directional, the sound may still echo, so a Capacity Down frequency may still be very dangerous

Aerokinesis: Air Control. Can manipulate the empty space around them.

Pros: Users are easy going people.
- Flight
- Cutting wind blades are very dangerous
- Creating tornadoes
- Creates a very good combo with a Pyrokinesist
- Allows plasma creation once you go to higher levels
Cons: Being who they are, they are more vulnerable to surprise attacks.
- Using this power in a body of water is not impossible, albeit very difficult
- Requires an atmosphere to be present. Cannot use this power properly in a vacuum(ie. outer space)
- Power is altered by the atmosphere. A better atmosphere = power. Bad atmosphere = weaker powers.
- Cannot utilize the 'air energy' around them unless there is some sort of movement with it (wind)

Cryokinesis: Ice Control. Can create structures of ice.

Pros: Users are calm
- Shields and weapons of ice
- Much greater control over ice than Hydrokinesists
- Can make the temperature around them drop
- Creates a very good combo with a Hydrokinesist
- Can manipulate temperature
Cons: Users have a very cold attitude and are not keen to teamwork.
- Cannot control water
- Hard to work in hot areas
- Cannot create water
- Do not get along well with Pyrokinesists

Electrokinesis: Electricity Control. Can shoot bolts of energy and control metallic and magnetic substances.

Pros: Users are quite sharp.
- Extremely powerful
- Can fly over water sources and/or magnetic/metallic substances
- Grants a fantastic control of various metals once you are in higher levels
- Can sect into electronic manipulation
Cons: When emotions are in the way, they can lose control of their power.
- Bolts of energy travel in the path of least resistance. Requires a very high control to bypass that.
- Metallic or magnetic substances can seriously restrict them, as the substances will conduct the energy
- Are not immune to electricity until in higher levels
- Absorbing energy can create harm over user, much like Pyrokinesists except greater harm can be applied to it.
- Makes compasses either go haywire or point towards them (mostly for comedy)

Geokinesis: Earth Control. Can crumble the earth underneath their feet.

Pros: Users are generally easy to work with. They also have a deep and caring attitude
- Manipulation of earth based materials
- Creation of glass
- Strengthen or weaken earth based materials in an area. Can trigger in a certain time
- Can work well with Pyrokinesists
- Can create electrical isolating shields
Cons: Stubborn to the core.
- Working with Electrokinesists may be a problem
- Without solid earth material, Geokinesists are basically useless (magma is an exception)

Hydrokinesis: Water Control. Can create massive waves of water.

Pros: Users are usually kindhearted
- Very versatile. Can create shields and attacks.
- Not like pyrokinesists, where their ability is purely for offense.
- More skilled users can control the three states of water, but liquid form requires the least amount of effort
- Creates a very good combo with a Cryokinesist
Cons: Users might be too soft, to the point that it can get in the way of battle.
- Requires a water source. Can use the moisture in the air but requires great skill, concentration, and time
- Lacks in sufficient power. Not the best weapon of choice in a battle.

Haemokinesis: Blood Control. Can manipulate the red substance that flows through their veins

Pros: The science side's healers.
- Creation of weapons, shields, etc. with blood
- External injuries have less effects on them, providing they have enough blood
- Can survive with much less blood in them
- Not limited to the blood inside them
- Can heal others if they have the blood that is compatible to them
- Has a natural ability to make blood quicker than most people. Can also create blood on the spot by using their own nutrients.
- Acidic blood is possible in higher levels
- Poison blood as well
Cons: Can be blood thirsty in nature, so watch out.
- Can pass out if they use too much of their blood
- Though external injuries do not affect them as much, tissue damage that has not been healed can restrict them. Vital organ damage is the same to them as to anyone else
- They can still only use the blood that is their own type on themselves. They can still use blood of other types, but they cannot use it to heal or restore themselves.
- Careful with people with diseases, as you may catch them when you take their blood
- To take blood from others requires there to be a flesh wound of some sort from their body (ie a cut or bleeding wound)
Note: Most student charas should have O- blood type while Antagonists should have an AB+ blood type. Teachers could go any way you want.

- Are ideal when fighting 1v1
Downs:
- Have a lower energy reserve
- Do not last long in battles
- Must operate in 'bursts'

Macro
Ups:
- Can cause major destruction at a huge AoE
- Can last longer in battles
- Bigger energy reserves
- Are ideal when fighting against multiple opponents
Downs:
- Have difficulties modulating their power
- Generally does not function in the way you want your power to
- Would cause unwanted collateral damage

@Everyone, this the explanation. Furthermore, we're talking about shape and pure power. Micro relies more on ingenuity like shaping your attacks but with lesser power and it has more precision. Macro on the other hand is focused on more power than actual versatility.

Like Mugino aka Meltdowner can't shape her attacks and is focused more on destructive force therefore macro. Misaka aka Railgun has more micro because her ability is so versatile but then again she has macro too.

Accelerator, Dark Matter, and Misaka are the only Espers who have shown to have both shape and pure power. I get this explanation through the novels.

Biography:

Kiyoshi came from a well educated family. Named a child prodigy, his parents thought that it would be best to send him to Academy City for a change, for further advancement of his skills and abilities. His peers saw that his abilities are quite unusual, being one that has a wide combination of various abilities, so he sometimes gets special attention. His friends would pester him for help in school work, as he is the top in his school, however annoyed he would get. He has a pet, which is a cat (obviously) named Sayuri.

Personality: Bookworm

Kiyoshi is the Bookworm, intelligent type. He has a lazy attitude, but (usually) does what he needs to do when he is told to. Does his best not to show off. He is a refined character and a gentleman. When he snaps/gets angry, people tend to try to get away, because this rarely happens and people know of the devastation that will happen when he lets his powers loose. Kiyoshi has a soft spot for animals, namely cats, but does not usually show it if they are anything but cats.

Likes: Cats, milk, peace, quiet thinking time, learning, sleeping/naps

Dislikes: Loud, annoying people/things, students who ignore him, Academy City

Skills: Knows how to fight with no weapons to a decent level. He is exceptionally skilled in kenjutsu, as he can preform strikes with deadly accuracy. His style of fighting revolves around the Dragon Style, taught by Takamori Ryū. Kiyoshi is also intelligent, with a memory that rivals those who have photographic memories. He's a fantastic cook, so go to his apartment whenever possible.

Ability:
Mind Emulate (Mind Powers): Level 5; Micro-macro
His powers include but are not limited to telekinesis, mind reading, mind's eye, projecting thoughts, mind manipulation, and electricity. The powers he is more proficient with are telekinesis, mind reading, and projecting thoughts. His abilities with electricity are not to be confused with Electrokinesis, though similar in ways. He is not resilient to electricity like them and does not emit a constant electrical field (though he could if he wanted to).

Special Skill: Creating Programs
Signature Move: (Unlimited) Blade Works- He conjures up several blades from materials using telekinesis and fires them to his opponent. If that doesn't work, he will start adding the deadly invisible blades, while the visible ones distract his opponents. The invisible blades, made from using pure psychic energy, are extremely thin, so they slice and dice his opponent(s) quite easily. He won't actually do that, since it would be murder.

Disadvantages: Depends on how many blades he is going to make. The more he makes, the harder it is to control them. It also makes him more vulnerable, as more of his concentration is required. As a Level 5, Kiyoshi can conjure even hundreds and can control all of them.
