He's not able to do anything with it as a host for the most part. Considering he's a square type, he might. The on;y thing he can do is make himself as a conduit to channel that existing electricity into his body and only can use it at that duration.

This is an obvious answer for all triangle types. Yes, you control your abilities but you lack proper control since DESTRUCTION CAPACITY is your specialty compare to square types who MANIPULATES the form of their abilities but not the damage. Circle types do both but does not have Canceller abilties. The 4th category that differentiates Espers from another is the Canceller Type. Who specialize in negating, tracking abilities and they can easily tell your level. The higher the level, the more your abilities become weak or useless or even fully negated.

@Saltwater Thief If you were going with the Hana route, btw how much will she know about Ria? Cuz Koto and Ria are nakama as well rolling in Friensei(Teacher+Friend). Also this version of Ria is light hearted compare to the original ACCA.

Regarding a Cryokinetic at level 8. How would that fare?

We're talking about Ria anyway. At best I wanna be consistent on what she can and can't do. For instances, she's completely immune to the cold, hypothermia she's also immune to it. Frostbites is like having bruises which is normal for her. She got city level feat of freezing though. For one, she can't do absolute zero which is considered a level 10 feat right?

Also concerning against an Electrokinetic, I did a research and it seemed like a one sided match up. It's the worst match up since cryokinetic is a boost for an electrokinetic.

Lastly I need a vote:

Should we keep the Shape Rule for Espers? Kotori is consistent so far being a Circle type.

We need a character that is not a level 8. Ria and Kaname are the strongest in the entire Colorsverse who is not a level 10. Unless Grey has other goodies..
Go for level 6 or 7.

Triangle vs Square vs Circle Rule:

Shape rule is used to differentiate an ESP on how they use their power if ever they happen to have the same power or not. Espers who solely focuses on damage output and nothing more is a Triangle Type.

Espers who love creativity and versatility is a Square type but they lack the damage output.

Circle = Both Damage and Creativity, Versatility etc.

You can't have a level 10 :D Unless Grey and Suku tells me.

Character:
Finally, a disciplined character with awkwardness impending and the knack for justice. I've always wanted to see how this would play in an RP but we all know RPs die before it even develops. It's fleshed out and I wanna see more of it in the I.C. The Blood Power part had dark themes to it, nicely done.

Background:
Determination is what I love to see. Not blind determination and I believe Ryu has this. Overall I am just happy because you have made a quality character that is not shounen trope. Even as others may count it, all you need is the right execution. Keep your history brief, it will flourish in the RP. I rather see a brief background than a fleshed out background because if people know the contents, what's the point of showing? We need hype and shows. I believe you can deliver.

Abilities:
I will not say much but you have my approval. Feats in the IC.

Overall. You got my standards. You deserve more than an applause. :D
