Rob and his Abra sat in the center of town in the park, he was throwing crumbs and watching a Spearow and a Fletchling chirping at each other, having some kind of argument over it. Abra slowly walked towards the Fletchling, before placing a hand on its head. The Abra's eyes glowed, before the Fletchling fluttered over to Rob, sitting beside him on the bench, Rob put a hand out to pet it, but the pokemon was smart enough to take the entire piece of bread before flying off. "You told him to do that, didn't you?" he scowled at the Abra. It stared at the Spearow that was now gorging itself on the crumbs.

Rob saw a Helicoptor fly overhead. That was a little odd, Helicoptors weren't exactly commonplace. He watched it as it headed towards a fancy looking building. He sighed, he had seen that building on the Pokemon Channel. It belonged to that devil woman that stroked her ego by insulting others. It was probably her making a fancy entry. He sat back in the bench, every so often looking over to the helicoptor. Soon, Abra began to tug at his shirt, before pointing at the building. Abra put his hand on his head. He began to feel an immense amount of fear pulsing from the building. "What the hell...?" it was at that point that he saw blue powder being scattered near the top of the building, before news crews began to arrive. "Can you go check it out?" he asked. Abra nodded before in a flash of light, he teleported.

He appeared in a hallway to find that blue powder was beginning to be pumped out of the ventilation, he had seen Sleep Powder often enough to know that this was going to end badly. A spore landed on his nose. At this point he paniced and began to teleport rapidly and wildly. First to the roof, then to the presentation room, then to a room surrounded by machamps, landing on one's head, it looked up and swiped at him, then he teleported to the roof again, hit by further spores, before finally, spotting Rob and teleporting back to him, falling asleep as soon as he arrived. He fell asleep in Robs arms "Sleep easy." he said, pulling a pokeball out and depositing him in it. It was then that Ghastly burst from his ball. "Hey Banquo. Let's see what's going on over there."

Wait, the opening post is rather confusing.

"You can be any class you wish, from a warrior, to a red mage." but then in the next paragraph, it says "As for your class, warrior, mage, archer, and spellswords are your basic classes for the time being."

Which is it, any class, or just those 4?

Rob Redgrave

Name: Rob Redgrave

Age: 19

Personality: An aspiring Pokemon Researcher, specializing in the psychic link between humans and their pokemon. As a student of Professor Sycamore, he has been performing experiments designed to gauge these traits. One of his current experiments is to try to bond with an egg that Sycamore gave him. As such, he is not one to battle unless forced. He prefers to try to talk situations out. Upon encountering a new pokemon, his first reaction will usually be to attempt to communicate telepathically. And although he doesn't personally own one, he finds Motorbikes to be super-cool.



History: Richard was born to a family of Psychics and Spirit Mediums in Saffron City, he is no different. His Father was a Psychic who left to search for Legendary Pokemon, specifically, Lugia. Richard was raised by his mother and Grandmother, both spirit mediums. It was tradition in their family that Males would become Psychics and females would become Spirit Mediums. Richard, however, was trained by his grandmother as a Spirit Medium. He was very close to his Grandmother, and when his fathers messages stopped, she convinced him to go and search for him. The problem was that he only had the clothes on his back, the Abra that his mother had given him for his 10th Birthday, and the Ghastly that his Grandma had given him for his 16th birthday... Meaning that he lacked money. He didn't have the funds to travel across the world... However, his last communication said that he had tracked Lugia to the Fordis region. In order to try and get to Fordis, he attempted to join the Pokemon Rangers.

He went to their recruiting office in Celadon to enquire about joining, which is where he ran into Professor Juniper, a genius in the field of Pokemon research that had been in the area at a seminar on Psychic pokemon. After talking with her for a short while, he accidentally let slip that he was a psychic. She was rather curious, and asked if he would help her with her research into the Psychic relationship that people and Pokemon share. Her first experiment was with a Joltik that he raised, however, upon hearing that his ability to telepathically converse with Pokemon didn't work with Dark-Types, she gave him an egg, telling him to raise it. After a short while, he convinced her to send him to Fordis in order to conduct his research there.
