So Trump no longer gets the "we'll wait and see" benefit of the doubt. He's fucked up majorly three times in his first... how many days has it been?

Actually, I've been super impressed with what he's done so far. I'd say it's one of the best first weeks we've ever had.

If you ever want to see why at least the anime and from there the source material is bad, I've still got those videos. They focus on the anime and only really touch on the source when it comes to character problems but the anime really is bad when you look at it.

I don't really enjoy those kinds of videos, even if I agree.

That's exactly what happened, but it's not like the source material is better. The parts that it shows are faithful to the LNs, it just doesn't show everything because the contract was for a standard 13 episode season, rather than an open ended one like the big ones.
Damn. So much for that then. Then again, even the game that totally changes everything sucks, but I don't know if the original author was involved in that game or not so I can't blame him for anything more than the source material.

I enjoy the source material, but it's not like everything appeals to everyone. I do agree that the entirety of the SAO arc needed to extend throughout the whole season, however. The movie is about AR and nobody really knows much about it, but it's supposedly a cool plot. I'll reserve judgement.

Which is part of the problem. The anime tries to follow the LN and manga when it should've gone the way of FMA 1 or Hellsing 1 or Shaman King and done its own thing. It might've been good then, which is why I asked about if the movie is based on them/written by the original author or if its by other people and might actually be good.

I think it was because the anime couldn't fit everything contained in the LN, so it became more of a "here are the important parts." I don't know about the movie, but I think it's using the author's novels as source material and altering it as necessary to fit the film.

We've only been outside. We should check inside one of these things.

Go ahead.

I'm pretty sure it was before the anime release.

Ran in Dengeki Bunko (which pisses me off that it's in the same group as Raildex) starting in Sep 2010. First volume was released Sep 27, 2012. Published in america March 25, 2014 for volume 1.

That must be why. The LN is good though; all the training he did isn't truncated like in the anime.

Not from what I've seen. What I've seen it looks like a manga entirely.
Plus that's one of the problems, the whole thing came about from it being too long for the competition it was written for, and ideas ran out after that first incarnation. (He admitted this in an interview)

Update: Found out why what I've seen is so manga like, there is a sao manga. So I was right. I knew I knew there was a manga and you made me question myself.

"The series has spawned eight manga adaptations published by ASCII Media Works and Kadokawa. The novels and four of the manga adaptations have been licensed for release in North America by Yen Press."

It must be new then. I looked for one years ago and only found the LN.

For once, I am actually lookign forward to both a Nintendo and a Microsoft console release, this year.

Unfortunately, Nintendo crashed and burned the Switch.

How about entering a building?

What?
<Snipped quote by Meta>

I would check on the Retherpad, but it's much more interesting to explore this place.

Then let's explore it.
<Snipped quote by Meta>

Well, it's still around. I don't know how old it is; it was probably on the sign.

I didn't read it.
<Snipped quote by Meta>

They put a lot of work into this.

That's good. Hopefully it pays off.
