<Snipped quote by Meta>
And I think you're mis-judging them.
After all, you've only interacted with one of them as far as I know.
Hard to misjudge someone who's trying to kill you.

<Snipped quote by Meta>
Pretty sure that's the kind of situation a last resort is used in.
<Snipped quote by Meta>
Even though I have negotiated it down to being a last resort instead of hopping straight on board what you would call the murder train?
<Snipped quote by Meta>
What would you have me do, bargen with no door open at all and end up nowhere?
Besides, at least they're being upfront about it. Would you rather they lie and then stab you in the back later?
<Snipped quote by Meta>
The ultimatum is that we'll get nowhere by being stubborn about absolutes. To be frank, I don't want him dead either. Heck, I would gladly talk him out of his currently broken mindset if I could.
But as it stands the best I can do is try and at least resolve this situation so that something other then fighting happens and we get somewhere with it. I'm not asking you to trust them, or to even like the situation, but I am asking you to at least deal with the situation for long enough so that we have a better chance of not letting Shinji die.
<Snipped quote by Meta>
Hawk: don't threaten her with an ultimatum.
<Snipped quote by Meta>
... We're just going to keep talking in circles like this.
*Sighs.*
<Snipped quote by Meta>
*Raises an eyebrow.*
I'll agree that it's a bit hasty to get rid of a threat before they're an enemy, but I would refute that it's very practical when it solves the situation.
<Snipped quote by Meta>
You don't?
<Snipped quote by Meta>
Getting rid of a threat isn't practical?
<Snipped quote by Meta>
I don't think his focus is specifically murder, but rather practicality and a sense of responsibility.
