▸ Name:
Antonia Marloe.

▸ Gender:
Female

▸ Age:
Joined at 18. Currently 21.

▸ Rank:
Lackey.

▸ Personality:
Proud. Charming. Faithful. Blunt. Irrational.

▸ Biography:

"You tryna' fuck with me honey? Who are you? You ain't shit."

Antonia was a born and raised Italian girl from the depths Chi-town. Her father (Anthony Sr) is a mechanic and her mother (Suzanne) a simple housewife and mother. She is the youngest between three; two older brothers: Anthony Jr (30) and Thomas (28) and herself. The Marloe family was lower class, and had their fair share of trials and tribulations.

Through her teen years Antonia was a relatively good kid. She did very well in school and had plans on attending college the moment she graduated high school. However, plans changed greatly when Jay and her crossed paths. Jay Kingsley was a bad boy and a sixteen year old Toni fell head over heels in puppy love. The two were inseparable despite her parents warning that the boy was going to get her into a whirl of trouble.

Between dramatic fights, experimenting in drugs, and losing her virginity Jay had became her rock, so it wasn't very surprising that she was dragged a long in his escapades when he joined the gang at the age of eighteen. It started off with petty crimes against the neighborhood; stealing bikes from kids, snatching purses from old ladies. But Jay wanted more. He wanted the gang to see them as a power couple that couldn't be stopped. So he planned for them to rob one of the local convenience store.

The night had started off good, they got in, locked and loaded and went straight to the cashier. "Put the money in the bag!" Jay screamed as Antonia glared around the store frantically, the rush was unbearable. "Hurry up Jay.." she pleaded getting anxious. The man did as Jay commanded but his sense of calm was a bit suspicious. "Aren't you scared motherfucker?" Jay yelled and the man shook his head. He had already pressed the silent alarm and the police were on their way. "Shit!" Jay exclaimed looking to Antonia for help. "Shoot him. Let's get out of here." he urged, and Antonia looked back in shock, "YOU shoot him, this was your idea!" she retorted, increasingly becoming angry. "Shoot him or I'm fucking leaving you here and you can rot in prison." Jay finished. Grabbing the bag and beginning to run out, leaving his girlfriend behind. Antonia raised the small hand gun up and shot at the convenient store clerk, hitting him in the neck. Soon after, she darted from the store and after her boyfriend. Bringing their loot back to the gang base and enjoying the praise from the higher ups that night.

The gang had brought the two closer in a sick way that couldn't be described, and Jay had proposed to marry her one day when they had more money and power under their belt.

Toni had never expected Jay to get stabbed by the convenience store owner's kid on the way home one night. When you're in love, you feel a impenetrable, unstoppable, and sometimes a bit delusional. That large blow changed Antonia, making her take plenty of steps away from the gang life and straightening out a little for a little less than a year. She managed a day shift job at one of the local diners as a waitress and started thinking about trying to reach her dreams of college again.

Heavy influence from the gang has post-poned these thoughts as she continues to indulge in their lifestyle and continuing to pursue relationships within the gang, regardless of the pain it causes her. The gang has replaced her idea of family and friends and their isn't going back.

@Write

Wrote up a little thing for Rhea- kind of went off yours; that the two don't really know one another but if they were to take the time to get to know one another that they would probably be good friends. They really are a lot alike- but one worries too much and the other worries too little. Interesting dynamic :)
Hit me up for character relationship ideas and such :)
Now that things are becoming a bit more clear on who is who and what is what.
"Hey?" a voice called, "Is your mother Artemis by any chance?" he continued as Elenore looked up and over to the boy speaking. A small smile grew on her face, as she parted her lips to speak, "Is it that obvious?" she asked, a light laugh following afterwards. A lot of good it did trying to hide her parents here at the school filled with people that knew almost everything about them from the start. "You can sit here for the assembly, if you don't have somewhere to be already." Elenore, motioned to the empty seat next to her, "It's not saved for anyone, I don't have any friends here yet." she finished, a slight nod of her head insisting that the younger boy sit.

Digging Deeper

Personality
Kaochia has a very happy go lucky personality, with a tendency for the dramatic and a weight on her shoulder that doesn't seem to get lighter. At school she is the girl that you will see with a cheerful smile across her face and a pep in her step. She enjoys making people laugh, talking with anyone that approaches her and being involved with extra-curricular activities. At home however, she tends to be very meek- not raising her voice or getting in anyone's way. She likes to keep to her room besides coming out to do chores. No one from school has ever been allowed to come over to Kaochia's house so no one has really seen that side of the girl. She technically isn't allowed to go to other people's houses either, but she usually can convince to one of her parents that she is just staying after school to do homework or a group project. Kaochia could be seen as a liar because of the sort of double life she is living, but she feels it's better to just wait out her problems rather than confront them and cause more trouble for herself.

History
Born to a middle class Hmong American family, Kaochia is the middle child of six children. She has three older siblings; two of which have moved out and started families of their own. Her other older brother has been incarcerated for a few years now with about 5 years to go. She was too young to really know why he was put away, and her parents just tell her that "That is what happens when you're bad. Don't be bad!". Kaochia's other siblings are younger than her, and she often is stuck babysitting them while her parents work at their family owned laundromat.

Growing up in a traditional house, Kaochia was taught how to cook, clean, and 'tend' to the men of the house on a very early age. It wasn't until she was old enough to go to school that she realized not all family dynamics out there were just like hers. She felt a bit of rebellion to her chores and tasks because of this, but those outbursts were quickly shutdown with a stern tone and a firm hand. Kaochia was a good kid, kept on top of her school work and because of her fear of her parents mental and physical abuse- kept to herself for the most part.

High school brought Kaochia a bit more freedom and allowed her personality and true self to blossom. She kept her childhood ways in her homestead but every morning when she walked through those double doors she was able to leave those worries and thoughts behind. She made plenty of friends, and joined a few of the clubs available that interested her- letting her parents know that they were for college preparation only. Most days were built upon lies to her parents; claiming she was practicing for exams everyday while she really would be out at the mall with her friends. Things didn't add up one day when she came home with a head full of blonde hair instead of her natural black. That month was hell, as the lectures grew longer and the choke chain grew tighter. Kaochia's mother eventually accepted the change, and even allowed the girl to keep it up, but only if she began working at the laundromat every Sunday.

When the news of The Match Program had circled around school, Kaochia had at first laughed at the thought. "What kind of loser would need that?" she exclaimed to her friends, with a chuckle. The girls agreed, and went about their days. Kaochia however, kept thinking about it, and thinking about it. Her mind would float off into dreamland thinking of all the dramas she had watched over the years of true loves and soulmates. The girl hadn't even had a boyfriend before, and her parents would have forbidden it anyways. She was meant to marry another Hmong boy and keep the tradition alive and healthy. Kaochia didn't really have any interest in such a thing, and knew that if she kept up with the tradition- it would be more than likely she would be trapped in the same lifestyle she had been living her whole life.

Saying goodbye to her friends one day, pretending that she had to go to one of her clubs- she went to The Match Program and signed up, filling out the surveys, questionnaires, and other tests. Afterwards she felt a bit excited, but ultimately worried that her actions would be found out eventually. With that, she just hoped for the best as she dreamed up and imagined who in her school would end up being the love of her life.

Theme Song
They - Jem
Who made up all the rules?
We follow them like fools.
Believe them to be true.
Don't care to think them through.

Extra Stuff
  • Hasn't had her first kiss yet
  • Has a black cat named Charlie
I'd be interested as well, if you'll have me :)
As the PA system sounded, Elenore tilted her head up to hear what their instructions were. Nodding, she pushed off the wall and began to follow the crowd as they moved like cattle towards what she could only assume was the way to the auditorium. Granted, she had been given a map, but she often liked to use her own senses to find her way about. After only a tiny bit of traveling she reached the auditorium. The amount of students that were there was practically overwhelming. To think that each one was special in their own right, and given power by the Gods and Goddesses themselves was awe inspiring. Finding a row with only one other free seat next to her, she sat down and let her body relax.
