HELLO everyone! It is that time of the year again where my home becomes a bit more colder, a bit more darker, the leaves become a little more dead-er and the spirit of Halloween runs through my blood. I can't be the only one right? Maybe I am- and you're just looking for a good time with a roleplay with a splash of horror in it? You've come to the right place. I've got two ideas I've been hacking at for awhile. If you are interested in either, place your vote- and depending on which one gets the most attention, I'll be hosting it sometime very soon :)

IDEA A:
Name: Frequencies
Genre Tags: Small Group, 80/90's, Slice of Life, Horror, Sci-Fi. VOICE ACTING.
Inspiration: Firewatch, Stranger Things, Dreamcatcher
Size: 4-6
Plot: This roleplay is going to be a VOICE ACTED roleplay. That doesn't mean you will be reading your posts- but just your speaking parts (however you see fit). The premise of this story is very much like Firewatch. It will be set in either the 80s or 90s and is about a small group of friends who are doing a summer job in California as they watch over a large wildlife park. You will be communicating with your fellow roleplays over radios. Eventually some supernatural things happen- and we all hear certain things over the radio. Whether we make it aliens, criminals, monsters- etc. It will be up to us :) There will be romance, and lots of character development. Plus the voice acting bonus will make it a unique experience to the game.

Genre Tags: Large Group, Slice of Life, Modern, Horror, Gore, Surival.
Inspiration: Silent Hill, This War of Mine, P.T
Size: 10-12
Plot: This roleplay is going to be about a small town of people that one day their world as they know it shift into something of a hell. Everyone will have a nightmare that will come out, and depending on how you are with the other members the nightmares will combine and change the world. There will be puzzles and survival in the world. There are several characters to choose from- that you will have total customization of (just have roles to be filled) I have an underlying plot for a bit of it, but it's still a free range idea that can be changed and adapted as time goes. It would be very mature, and not for the faint of heart.

I would love to join a group of people to roleplay through a video game- like an mmorpg or survival or something. Even if it incorporated the guild for some of the background things- but mostly just having fun playing a game and roleplaying with friends along the way. I'm not sure if that is what you meant- but that is something I've been looking for myself for awhile.

I will probably also use AUDACITY to clean up my recordings and maybe do the creepy things?
I'll do an example:
MissCapnCrunch wanted to give JunkMail an example so she opened up her browser, typed in the site vocaroo, and spoke into her headset that is slightly broken and mostly shitty. "Hiiii Junkmail." she said, hoping that she didn't sound too creepy as she finished off her example.
So, our voice parts would be spoken, and because of the supernatural parts-
I will be submitting things to people to hear through their radios and so on and so forth.

I'll be the first to say NO ONE will be judged or made to feel bad about the voice acting roleplay if it's chosen. It's supposed to be something new and unique to try out with everyone, and I'm excited to see if that one gets picked :) I have all the programs/sites necessary for help too.

What if we want our characters to do things after school? Should we take it to the PMs or something?

This was a moment to make plans and do things over the weekend with your peers!
I might post pone the time skip for anyone who still wants to do this type of thing.
I noticed the OOC was very slow while I was gone, and I'm not sure if everyone is still around.
