Lead the way captain! (:
Molly had fell asleep and stayed asleep until morning time. Her petite body curled up on the couch, only a sliver of skin showing as her blanket was pushed off of her during the night. It was summer, but the basement remained chilled all the time. Bringing her palms up to her face she rubbed her eyes until they reached that level of pleasure that rubbing your eyes strangely did. She then stretched her arms above her head and arched her back into a full stretch before sitting up quickly. She sat there with her eyes closed for a bit, her head pressed up to the back of the couch. Was last night just a weird dream? Molly half wondered, and half hoped that it had been.

Gazing over at the side table she saw a note and a ten dollar bill. "Will be gone tonight. Pizza on me. - Mom" Molly rasied her eyebrows, Mondays were always a late night because of the book club meetings but never were offerings of pizza involved. Molly climbed up the stairs to see her grandmother napping in a recliner in the living room. Molly rustled around still in her pajamas, grabbing a bowl and pouring herself some cereal and sitting in the couch adjacent to her snoring grandmother. On television played game shows, the match game being an older choice but still a favorite in the Rossi household. Eating her breakfast without too much emotion, Molly went back down into the basement and searched through some clothes that were clean enough to hang out with the girls.

She settled on some jean shorts and an over sized California raisin's teeshirt. Underneath she wore a plain black two piece swimsuit. The girls had planned on swimming today, or at least grabbing some sun while they could during the not wintery seasons in Brimstone. Molly did her usual makeup and morning routine. Shoving the ten dollar bill, a few cigarettes, and a lighter in her pocket Molly made her way back upstairs and out the door without waking her grandma. The woman could sleep through most anything, making her an easy target for sneaking in and out of the house.

Reaching the hot springs, Molly assumed she had been early. She was going to call both of the girl's house to see if they were still on for today, but since Abigail had skipped out on her last night, Molly felt that even if the girls didn't show up- she would at least have a good time by herself. The young woman had no intentions on paying for entrance. She had ten dollars and that was for better things like pizza, or convincing some college aged boys to buy her alcohol- not for hot springs.

Circling the area she finally found a bushy area and climbed over the fence. Her legs would be scratched up but Molly wasn't trying to win a Miss Brimstone pageant anytime soon anyways. Getting to the other side she would be met with the back end of the grand hotel and the hot springs that surrounded it. The smell of sulfur was strong, and because of this they tried to block the aroma with even stronger smells of lavender. It was kind of sickening if you focused on it.

Grabbing a small row of lean back lawn chairs, Molly took off her shoes, and other clothes and claimed her spot on one of the chairs. She eased herself into one of the hot springs, not deep enough to get her hair wet. She didn't want to waste that much hairspray over one dip in the water. Sitting on the edge she let her body relax, until she decided to get out and enjoy the sun instead. Using her rolled up clothes as a pillow, she leaned back in the chair and let the sun hit her pale skin. She hoped that her friends were to show up soon.
"It's a fake! Look at it, the seams aren't even fully mended."

The merchant fought back and forth with Nhia as she shook her head full of wild blonde locks back and forth. "Why would I purchase a fake, and then try to resell it to you at a higher value in which I personally paid?" Nhia said to the man as if she were doing him a favor. He pushed the lush looking but absolutely fake square fabric back into Nhia's hands as he said several times in a row, "No deal!" Nhia, outraged spit directly into the fabric and slapped it onto the merchant's table top. "Here! Take it, it's now a gift. Perhaps you can use this to cool off later." the man look outraged, but Nhia already had left the area before another exchange could happen. She would rather lose money than her pride any day of the week.

Nhia had been at sea for several years previous to today. It was her true home away from home, but every once in awhile she felt the need to travel to land to see what had came about it. When she had left at a young age of fifteen, most crews denied access to their vessel. Eventually she found herself on a peculiar ship of what seemed to be vagrants and thieves. It wasn't the best environment to grow up in, but it was better than being forced to marry an older gentleman just so that Nhia's parents could receive some money and wait for some grandchildren to blossom. When Nhia had tried to return to her family home, they were no where to be found in the seaside town she had once lived. Friends and neighbors alike had said that her leaving had broke their heart and they had found solace somewhere else.

Today she found herself at what she had learned to be called the Lindblum "festival". Nhia had recalled pleasant memories of festivals she held when she was a child. She loved the bustle of people, the good smells of food, and the genuine feeling of happiness that people seemed to hold when they attended. Speaking to another vendor Nhia managed to get a hot pastry of sorts for half the price. "Thank you, my husband won't rob your store later tonight." Nhia said, as the vendor nodded scared for his life. Nhia had no intentions of hurting anyone, she just wanted to eat and sometimes you had to pull some legs to get what you wanted. She moved the hot pastry between her hands letting it cool as she found a spot to sit upon a decrepit stone fountain of sorts. The cool mist of the water spraying across her sun kissed skin as she wrapped her lips around the dough and took a hearty bite.

Personality
Reckless. Charming. Secretive. Bold. Carefree.

Nhia from an outsider's point of view might be seen as a free spirit and a reckless one at that. She is sun kissed and always driven to the water ever since she was a young child. People that she have encountered have stated that she is quite charming, but on the other hand so are the angler fish that dwell down below. Some of her quirks include: Eating sunflowers seeds and biting her lower lip when she's thinking about something. Nhia can be heard humming or or whistling when she's in a cheerful or happy mood.

Skills & Abilities
Nhia is a fisherman's daughter so she excels in fishing, sailing, and a bit of navigation.

History
"Come now Nhia, sing a song for our guests, you have always had a beautiful voice as light as the bird that brings your daddy home." a father called to his child. The family had invited several sailors over for dinner to celebrate a safe journey, and the good season they had for fishing. The family and several other families had found their home next to the sea and used the resources of the land to survive as well as flourish. "Come Nhia, sing!" her mother now insisted, as the guests smiled and nodded their approval.

"There is a place named shipwrecked cove placed behind a rock
A boy and a girl would travel there for her to suck his -"

"Nhia!" the young girls mother exclaimed, her face a crimson red at the embarrassment her daughter had given her in front of their guests, while her father let out a hearty laugh. Nhia giggled, "I learned that one from the neighbor boy." she gleamed, her soft round lips upturned into a grin. "Bed." her mother retorted, as Nhia's smile then dropped to a pout, "But Mothe-" the girl started, and was given a stiff finger pointing towards her bedroom in the small home, "Now." her mother finalized the command, sending Nhia away.

As Nhia aged, she always had a pleasure in riddles, songs, and the casual practical joke. Though many of her friends and family, besides her father found no pleasure in this, the girl remained the same. "Honestly Nhia, you need to mature just a little, you're over fifteen years old now." her mother pleaded as they sat down to wash their clothes. Nhia smiled and nodded, it was often easier to just agree to what her mother had to say rather than fight the cause. The two continued this sort of conversation; Mother lecturing her daughter, while the daughter half doesn't pay attention and half just says "Mhm, yes."

"Your father and I think it time you be married." her mother bluntly spoke, noticing her daughter's lack of participation. Nhia responded once again, "Yep." before noticing the words that had been spoken, "Wait, what!?" the girl exclaimed, dropping the clothing she had held as her blue and grey shaded eyes widening as she glared at her mother, "I'm not ready for that." she chuckled, picking up the article of clothing and dusting it off slightly. "I'm just not ready for that." she repeated once more, handing the item to her mother and walking away with out another word about it.

Nhia didn't want to be forced into a marriage so young, so during the night she packed up as much as she could and took to the only place who seemed to understand her- the sea. She has been out to sea for six years and has finally decided to come back to land, looking for life to bring her another way.

If you give a hungry man a fish, you feed him for a day, but if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime!
Plus I wanted to have something a little out of the ordinary- I usually do an archer type character myself!
