Looking up from the hole I the ground he had made, Mike heard the screeching tyres, the stream of curses and then the beautiful young woman stepping out of the car.
Immediately, he dusted himself off and then walked up to her "never have I seen a more beautiful girl like yourself, you look like an Arabian princess" Mike said to her with a smile.

Connor smiled and gave a nod, "yeah, it does. Maybe it's the fact that most of the class isn't here anymore. Or just the sense that we've done this all before" he said thoughtfully. Of course it could just have to do with the fact that so much had happened last year, that it felt weird to return to something similar to the first day last year. It didn't feel like so much could have happened In just one year, but it did.

"Or maybe it's just weird" he said with a chuckle

Kassy laughed slightly at the boy who had showed up in front of her, and she looked a bit confused. "Oh no, I'm not Arabian, I'm... well, technically of Atlantis. And I am certainly not a royal." She looked down at her clothing. "Is my attire... inappropriate for school? I was told that I should make a good impression, so I wore some extra jewelry." Sure enough, she had on bracelets with pearls that glinted in the light, and a choker around her neck set with a small, round mirror. "Is it too much?"

Kijani was glad he understood. "Hopefully this year will be less.. eventful." She could deal with a boring life for a while. Boring would be a nice change of pace. "So, how was PD? Is Mimic still the reigning king of assholes?" Sure, Mimic was a teacher, but Kijani didn't think that excused him from being irritating.
^_^ My bad, I didn't have time to check everyone else's characters. Still trying to fix mine. I can remove the team mom bit if you like.
Name: Kassandra Keigwan (Kassy, Kass, Lady)
Race: Beorc
Age: 23
Appearance:

Class: Illusionist
Proficient In: Light magic
Features: Trick of the Light – makes enemies more likely to miss attacking her
Stats:
Strength - 2
Agility - 2
Constitution - 3
Mentality - 4
Skill – 4

Inventory: Light Spell tome, tea mixture, small fishing knife, journal set, a polished wooden water jug, a small, perfectly round piece of mirror set on a leather string.

Personality: Kassy is usually gentle natured and good hearted. She does her best to keep a positive nature, and tends to be a caretaker of others. Most people would consider her to be perfectly calm all the time. Those people aren't completely correct. While Kassy does tend to be passive when it comes to her own defense, she will quickly come to the rescue of anyone who is in a position of weakness. Bullying is something she hates to see more than anything else, and she will never ignore it if she sees it. If Kassy ever truly loses her temper, whoever made her that angry deserves what hell they're about to receive. Her wrath can be summed up in four words: Light is Not Good.

Biography: Kassy joined the mercenaries for what she considers a noble cause. To put it simply, she considers Laruca to be a massive bully, one that needs to be stopped before more innocent lives are lost. Where she comes from is anyone's guess; while she is always on hand to listen to other's problems, from massive to mundane, she remains quite silent on her own past.

Additional Info: Even though she's fairly young, she's definitely the team mom.

Still working on it!
@Hawlin

It's done. Sorry it took so long.
Achieng was startled when she heard the announcement. Just what was going on with this planet? First their mission was not at all what had been stated. The captain left, and now the doctor? Something was wrong, extremely wrong. She had already been heading back into her little tank, to find someone to ask. Now, though, she retrieved her fishing knife from her belongings and set it at the back of her moving tank. The blade was as long as her shoulders and hooked on the end. More than one person she'd met during her training had called it a sword, but she knew they were mistaken. Swords had vent holes where she came from. This was just for basic hunting.

It took a moment for her to get back into the tank, and she kicked it into top speed, apologizing to crew and soldiers as she maneuvered it through the ship. She was making a direct line for the helm of the ship, trying to review in her mind who would be in charge. If the captain had gone, then the Doctor would be next. She was gone, so then...

A familiar pair of ears caught her attention, and she called out. "Mr. Kaite?! Not you too! Where is everyone going? We were told to stay on the ship! What is the problem with you and the doctor?" She brought her tank right up to him, and even though she had to crane her neck to look in him the eye, she still looked like she would accept no weakness from Kaite.
@Caits

Kijani could have stayed this way forever, in Connor's arms. All the fear and doubt went away, like Connor was some kind of cleansing force. She probably wouldn't ever express any of that to him in words. It would be far too embarrassing for her to say such saccharine things.

Eventually she did pull away from Connor, but only far enough so she could speak and breathe. "It's weird to be back here again. Not... bad. Just weird."

There was a screech at the front of the school, as a car pulled up. The door opened and let out a stream of curses that disappated into the air. A heavyset young woman got out, wincing with the first few steps. It was strange to her to be on legs. Were these shoes always going to be so painful? Her skin was dark brown and had a slight sheen to it. Her hair was frost white and her clothes would probably be seen as 'strange' to others. A flowing top paired with a skirt down to her calves, and sandals. She'd been told that shoes were required. She already hated them. As she looked toward the school, a stream of complaints continued from the car.

"Honestly, these humans and their transportation! Who teaches these people to operate vehicles?! And you can talk on a cellular while driving? My goodness there should be an edict against this, I should petition to King Namor, and-" The ceaseless flow of anger stopped short, and a person with pale, green tinted skin and much greener hair poked their head out of the car. He flashed a sheepish smile at the young woman. "I apologize for our lateness, miss Kassandra. I have already informed the administration, you go on in. Be well, and stay in contact."

"It's alright. I'll send a message within a few days. Wish me luck!" Kassy smiled back, and bowed politely. Then she headed for the Academy, hoping that she wasn't going to be TOO strange compared to everyone else.
*burrows into a weighted blanket*
I'm trying to work on mine. Currently being driven insane by a medical issue and sudden life changes on top of that. Does anyone know a good remedy for sleeplessness? I haven't got a decent nights rest in weeks.
My apologies. I was more than a little overzealous, I'm going to have to drop this.
...Awww... *sneaks and gives him hugs* ^_^;
