Jin was waiting patiently for Sakura's answer. While they did, they rapid-fired seven arrows in perfect sequence, adding a symmetrical smiley-face to the eyes that they'd already put on the target. It was a bit embarrassing, now that Jin considered it. Maybe Sakura didn't really want to hang out anywhere besides school? After all, she seemed to dislike attention, and Jin was an attention grabber by nature. Maybe if they took the invitation back, treated it as a joke?
But the answer wasn't to come. Sakura took off running- after two other people who were also running. Jin felt, almost immediately, the wrongness of the situation. It was something they'd learned being homeless- an instinct for upcoming trouble. Usually, Jin would walk the other way. But... if Sakura was going to help, then Jin would have to help Sakura. They dropped the bow and headed off running, wordlessly catching up to Sakura in pursuit.
