I have no clue what to do.
@Rusalka BTW, Kassandra is incredibly dense when it comes to flirtation. Kassy may have to have it spelled out at some point. But not now. Much later.
@Demonic cupcake@Rusalka

That's Jin, they're nonbinary. Starts out abrasive and rather snarky, but warms up when either faced with mechanics, or if someone tries real hard for a long time to get to know them.

I like the idea of them being some manner of psychic. When I play them in superhero type RPs, Jin is always a powerful telekinetic.
Hmmm... I want a student so I can join the festivities.

What supernatural abilities would you guys recommend?
@Canidae good luck! Don't forget to eat breakfast and sleep!!
@Rusalka

Kassy smiled warmly as the other woman stepped in. "I know you'll be alright. You have such a caring, kind nature. Always friendly, you are." She stepped behind her desk and started to nervously reorganize her already pristine desk. "Thank you for the encouragement. I'm going to need it, I think." Giving up on the organization, she looked up at Claudia. "Would you like to have some tea later, during lunch hour?"
I didn't want to double post so I'm waiting on others. Also I'm at work now.
*hugs very quietly* That's completely awful. I'm sorry that's happening to you.
That's terrible! Why would someone do that?
"That's..." Devika struggled for a polite word. "Well, really impressive, that you managed to teach yourself such a skill. You should be proud of that." She winced inwardly - not the best interaction. She could tell Roxy was getting tense, and so she moved off the subject. "If you're willing to teach me this, I should teach you something in return. I'm not sure what, though. You don't seem the type to sit and knit, so... maybe cooking? It's a good skill to have in any case. Everyone's got to eat."

Devika was on an entire separate train of thought while she spoke. What kind of strange father gave her daughter a weapon, but no instruction? It was a modern age, to be able to defend yourself wasn't unexpected. Heck, her own parents had signed her up for self-defense classes when she'd been younger. But it just struck her as so odd. However, she wasn't going to say a word about it. Call it empathy, or call it common sense, but she had a feeling that question had land mines behind it.
