Awesome. Done and done. Working on an intro post now.

@Aurora Primrose Ah, right. That does make sense.

...I am so stuck, it's frustrating.
@Aurora Primrose

Hm... even if my character was born to young parents, I still don't think they'd be old enough to fit this RP.

*thinks* Is it possible that a Star does not know they are one? Like, if they have kind of a subtle power?
I'm finding myself stuck. I got as far as "Homeless" and the backstory is at a halt. I know her parents are dead but I am not sure how to make them that way, as morbid as that sounds.

Is it at all possible that one of her parents was a Star? Or have they not been appearing that long?
Jinny woke up in a strange place. In the immediate moment, she was afraid. She clutched at Fluffy, and looked around at the room she was in. It was a very normal room, as things went. The walls were off white, the comforter she was covered in dark blue. There was a small desk in the corner, and it was all very… nice. It just wasn’t hers. Yesterday came flooding back in a wave of memory, banishing her fear but turning it into a solid wall of grief. She was never going to see her parents or her house again. The very thought just made her want to cry, but – strangely enough, no tears came. Maybe she was all tapped out from crying due to just how much she’d done so yesterday.

She got up and started to explore. Again, the house was very normal. She and Fluffy found a bathroom, a garage, several other bedrooms, and one room in the back that was very locked. Her nose led her to the kitchen, where her new uncle seemed to be making scrambled eggs.

“Hi.” She was beside him almost silently, all 3 foot 2 of tiny telepath barely making a noise as she crossed the kitchen. Her hair was a mess, she was in yesterday’s clothes, but she was making an effort to smile upward at him.

“I like your house. It’s really big.” There was a distinct lack of pink, but nothing was perfect. She lapsed into silence for a moment, then asked one of those questions that only a child could. As if it was the entire world.

“What do I do now?”
"But being farther away helps me affect others less, if I do lose my control. I- I don't know, it wasn't a very thought out plan." Devika threw her hands in the air, rather frustrated. She really wanted this to work, and having her only plan shot down was less than helpful. With an exasperated huff, she leaned her forehead on her hands. "I'm just trying to come up with a plan for me to cause the least damage to your customers."

This time, she had to force the calm onto herself. Having a task would definitely help. "Lunch. Lunch sounds good. I'll go make us some cheeseburgers. Unless you want something else?" She figured Roxy wouldn't care much, but she felt wrong not leaving the option open.
Kijani poked her head out of hiding once she heard the three troopers drop. “Very well done, gentlemen.” She headed toward toward one of them and started pulling off the distinct white uniforms. Underneath, she was surprised to find a normal looking human. Interesting; it may have been that the man was currently very unconscious, but she didn’t feel afraid at all.

Getting the armor off was not particularly difficult. Getting the armor on, however, was proving challenging. “Let’s see. I just strap this here, and click this here, and- no, it’s falling off again- damn!” Kijani was doing her best to hurry, but had managed a boot and a leg piece so far. “How in the world do these guys get dressed in the morning?”

After some much needed assistance, she was all done up in uniform. It was eerie somehow, and wrong, like wearing the skin of her enemies. She knew her parents were watching over her, but hoped that perhaps they wouldn’t watch too closely at this part. Breathing in the helmet was difficult, and warm. It did leave her with the humorous image of a Stormtrooper steaming up his own visor, however, which made her giggle faintly as they got ready.

“This fits so awkwardly.” Her breasts, while not particularly large, were still being squashed by the chest plat, and the part with the hips fit far too snugly. The rest of it rattled a little loose. “Well, I hope we don’t run into many others, because I seriously don’t think I’ll fool anyone.” Kijani took a test walk in a circle, feeling the awkward armor shifting and clunking as she did so.
