@hagroden You have a bit of leeway here. You can have them talk a bit before the meeting and then ease that into your post, you can have them talk during it, or after it.
For example, the start of your post could be an interaction between them, cut off by the start of the meeting....If that makes sense.

Gwendolyn Georgie Westbrook; Gwen
● Age:
Seventeen
● Gender:
Female
● Sexuality:
Homosexual
● More In Depth Appearance:
Standing at 5'6", Gwen weighs roughly 160 pounds. She has a curvy figure, yet her arms and legs are incredibly lean, and she could easily be a pro-athlete one day if she chose. She has the body of a soccer player. Her hair falls a few inches past her shoulder, a lovely rich brown color. She either has it down or up in a ponytail. She isn't one to wear make-up unless it's a special occasion, as she's a bit of a tomboy. If she doesn't brush her hair after its wet, it tends to curl, making some people think she actually spent the time to curl it (she didn't). Her personal style is fairly typical for a tomboy, tending to wear jeans and a comfy shirt, rather than designer labels. Her voice doesn't stand out much in conversation, not too loud yet not too soft. She's right in the middle. She has a scar on her knee from a canoeing accident at camp when she was twelve.
Gwen is the type of person who, in a novel, would be labeled "a strong female character." She doesn't take nonsense from anyone and is very confident in her own actions, thinking everything through and making the best choice. She is decisive and firm, hardworking and able to get things done. She doesn't procrastinate and is very methodic in her approach to problems. However, she's also a bit snarky and quick to judge people, assuming that she's figured out everything about them. Being wrong isn't something that (so she thinks) happens often. Of course, she also tends to find a lot of humor in sarcasm, and it serves to lighten up her personality. She is a decent friend, but a blunt and honest one as well. She doesn't sugarcoat things, and doesn't think anyone else should either.

● Biography:
Gwen was named after her father, George (hence the middle name Georgie). From the moment she was born, she acted rather like him, something that holds true to this day. Her father was from Boston, working as a homicide detective there, when he met Annie. She was in town for an education convention, and they had a whirlwind romance. "It was the kind you see in Lifetime movies," Annie still says to this day. After a long distance relationship for several years, it became clear to the two of them that they were meant to be. George relocated for Annie, moving to her hometown of Sterling Heights.
A few years into their marriage, they gave birth to twins: Gwendolyn Georgie and Kingston George. The twins were polar opposites, with Gwendolyn acting more masculine, and Kingston acting more feminine. She loved cops and playing in the mud and cars, while Kingston enjoyed baking and playing the piano. A bit of an exaggeration, Annie always claimed, but it was true nonetheless. George and Annie wanted the best for their children, and a small town seemed to be perfect. They ensured that their children would have every opportunity, the entire reason Kingston ended up going to a boarding school in order to jumpstart his career in music. Gwen, meanwhile, was allowed to come with her father to the station, as she had determined she wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a detective.
A tomboy to the end, Gwen excelled in soccer and picked up archery on the side. However, in high school, she ended up discovering a love of theater, and started auditioning regularly for all of the plays. Her grades are decent--not the highest of the school, but not poor either. She ended up taking a fair amount of advanced courses, and is set on attending university in order to get a degree in criminology, and push her into her field.
The SHS website fascinated her, and she saw it almost as a thought experiment. If the rumors were true, who was the person behind the site? Who was able to find out about it all? Why were they doing it? It was, to her, almost a preview of what her work might be like one day. Of course, it soon appeared to her that the rumors were baseless...but in the back of her mind, she was still wondering about the site.

"Please, tell me more about what you do with all the time you save by typing "u" instead of "you."
● Bernadette Blackwell ●
"She might be a hipster, but she's my hipster." If Bernie is the sun, then Gwen is the moon. Each of them are headstrong and confident, with their personalities on paper seeming to contradict each other, but working out beautifully in reality. Best friends since playing soccer together as a kid, they're pretty inseparable... Even if Gwen can't comprehend why Bernie loves taking selfies all the time.
● Yaozu Au-Yeung ●
"I don't hate him...But I kind of tend to hate him." Friends through Bernie, Yao and Gwen are famous for getting into arguments and fights. From completely inane topics to politics, they're always bickering about something. However, they still are good friends--simply friends who debate all of the time and seem like it could erupt into a death match at any moment.
● Jay Hunter-Darling ●
"He needs to learn to make his own choices already..." With police officer fathers, Jay and Gwen grew up attending the same functions. When the police officers had some sort of banquet or picnic, the pair of them would amuse themselves, inventing stories and playing games. Of course, once they grew older, they didn't keep those same habits up--now, they're more likely to chat with each other about sci-fi novels. And while they are good friends, Jay follows Gwen's lead almost to the extent that it irritates her.
● Cass Rowley ●
"She's going to get herself arrested....Really cool person, though, I'll visit her in prison!" Cass and Gwen do get along, despite some fundamental differences when it comes to the legality of things. Gwen tends to turn a bit of a blind eye to it, figuring that she can't convince Cass to change, and that Cass should be able to choose how she acts. They enjoy bantering with each other, and can be quite good friends. Gwen also has only confided in Cass about her sexuality thus far.
● Connor Collins ●
"The ultimate Netflix and Chill friend....without the chill, of course." He's the Ron to her Harry, the Grover to her Percy, the Rosencrantz to her Guildenstern. The pair of them are the ultimate movie and book lovers, and it makes a lot of sense that they're best friends for it. Highly intelligent individuals, Gwen provides the confidence that Connor sometimes lacks, and the friendship is an incredibly strong one. They usually have at least one late night movie marathon a week.

Skin Tone: Paler than death Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: The slight indents of where she was bitten as a human are still present on the left side of her neck Personal Style: Elegance with a taste for the dramatic--she enjoys the gothic feel of the new world, having had a large role in creating it. Each time Meliscent goes out for the day, she looks entirely different than she did the day before.
Psychology
Cunning * Conceited * Composed * Cruel
Sexuality: Bisexual Relationship Status: Engaged Personality: In a conventional sense, Meliscent is willing to do anything to achieve her ends. She is constantly plotting and strategizing, recognizing the impact of each and every decision. To her, life is merely a game of chess, and she happens to be setting her pieces in motion for checkmate. This attitude, feeling as if she controls the world, has caused her to become more and more self centered over the years. She cares about herself and hardly for anyone else, becoming increasingly cruel in punishments over the year.
However, she maintains her composure and grace, appearing as the proper queen she pretends to be. She does get her hands dirty, but doesn't allow it to taint her public image. Inspiring and persuasive, Meliscent manages to get people to rally behind her, no matter how twisted her ideals truly are. There is an alluring quality to her, the same attraction that some experience for the most twisted and dark characters in books and films. She is all darkness and evils, drawing innocent souls and corrupting them, using them, and throwing them away once done.

Opinions On the World Order Given that this order is of Meliscent's design, she's quite happy with it. She allowed the other houses to remain in order to give some illusion of free will, hope, and independence. A strong believer that the illusion of free will is the opiate of the masses, Meliscent is content with things to remain the way they are. She no longer has to hide in the shadows or beg on the streets for crumbs--she (and her house) are on top.
Family History The Greys were a rather impoverished family, local to England. For generations, they were scholars hardly able to furnish much of a living, instead passing the debt on to the next generation to deal with. Overtime, this debt became exponential, and Meliscent's father jumped into Thames in order to avoid the debt collectors. Being the youngest daughter in the family, Meliscent had not yet been married off. All of her other siblings had arranged marriages, and at her mother's insistence, Meliscent took to the streets.
Character Specific History She earned more at night than her father had been able to do by day. She continued to work as a Lady of the Night, and one day, the famed Oscar Wilde was one of her customers. He solicited her services, asking her to accompany him to public events in order to quell any rumors that he was a homosexual. He called her the Lady Grey and wrote one of his most famous novels for her--The Picture of Dorian Gray. For one summer, Meliscent pretended to be his lover, and he gave her a large sum of money for her services.
Using the money, she paid off her family debt just two weeks before her mother died of illness. Destitute and once again penniless, Meliscent grew bitter and returned to the streets, only with a different occupation. She became a contract killer, seducing men and poisoning them. The Lady Grey was the name she went by in business dealings, and this was quite successful, until one of her targets forced her to drink his blood. Within hours, Meliscent had attacked a drifter and drained him of his blood, and began her career as a vampire.
She continued her work as a contract killer, finding that it provided her wealth and food. She remained in this capacity for decades, enrolling in a university once they were properly open to women. The Lady Grey became a myth among criminal circles, yet those who contacted her for her services were never disappointed. It was Meliscent who organized the vampires to rise up once their numbers became too large, and due to her craftiness, she successfully organized the revolution.
In the wars, Meliscent served as the Queen of the House of Grey--named after her, of course. Cunning and cruel, Meliscent has survived numerous attempts at overthrow, growing more and more powerful by the day. She currently is engaged, yet there is no love there. It is merely a political alliance, and in secret, Meliscent is plotting to have her fiance killed.
She doesn't have any room for love.

Oh wonderful! Daniyal damned himself to hell, killed a person while P!ATD played, and jump started the end of the world. Can't wait till the Devil himself shows up! A very tired, and bitter Daniyal will be showing up to the meeting soon. Armed. *Cues the ominous music*
It's funny you mention the devil himself showing up.....
Once upon a time, we were terrified of the monsters under the bed. We would cry to our parents, asking for their help and for their protection. We would spray holy water and eat garlic, hoping to prevent horrors we could not imagine, horrors we could only visit and realize in our dreams. It was a simpler time, when things born of shadows lurked in the dark, and never came into the light of day.
What comfort that was.
What do you do when your nightmares become reality? When your dreams become sorrows? What do you do when the lines between fantasy and reality are impossibly blurred, leaving science to become myth and myth to become science? Do you run, do you hide in the shadows you once feared? Do you join the hoard and march on, creating new nightmares each second?
It does not matter whether or not you are ready to answer that question, for the end has finished. It is a new era, a new world, a new beginning. The light has been snuffed out, obliterated, and left to the fate of all things forgotten. It is a reign of darkness, a world order founded on chaos.
What divides us gives us hope, prominence, and courage. There is no question of unity. There is no question of loyalty. It is only of survival, of escaping the darkness with some semblance of sanity.
Will you be devoured by the dark?
Will you survive?
Not even I can tell.
World History
It all had began with a simple mistake. Young vampires and werewolves gave into their instincts, turning more and more humans each day. The rate was exponential, exceeding anything that their respective communities could have hidden. It petrified those who clung to the Olde Ways, unable to cope with the fact that light may shine upon them.
A young vampiress, the Lady Grey, rallied a majority of the vampires to arms. These vampires no longer hid in the shadows, but began to infiltrate the mortal governments. With Brexit and rising conservatism that led to mass riots, protests, and resignations, Lady Grey and her followers rose to power. Other sects responded to this grab for power, forming their own factions and houses. A rival vampire group, disapproving of Lady Grey's destructive and nihilistic tendencies, formed the House of Chronos. Werewolves, realizing their predicament, made a desperate plea for unity, but it was too late.
Three massive wars were raged between what would come to be known as the House of Grey and the House of Chronos. Each war, the other houses would be asked to pledge their lives in the conflict in order to avoid genocide at the hands of the ruling houses. The bloodshed and casualties continued for a hundred years, with countries falling and buildings being turned to rubble.
A new world has emerged. Our story focuses on the area that was once the United Kingdom, divided among the factions. The House of Grey continues to rule with an iron fist, despite the ongoing war with the House of Chronos. Cities held by vampire have massive constructions erected above them, steel domes that block out the sun. Energy is harvested from solar panels fixed on top of these, with humans, werewolves, and hybrids risking death in order to repair them.
In the midst of war and chaos, however, a movement is growing. Spurred by hybrids and those who wish to see a societal change, this rebel group is known as the House of Janus. They are a secret network, thought to be no more than an idea in reality. Rebellion is looming on the horizon, ready to reclaim this land of night, and allow the sun to shine once more.

The Town Meeting has started -- if your character is not yet at the town meeting, you can ad lib a bit on time, or simply not show. They can also show up late. Do what you gotta do, guys. :) This meeting will likely be lasting a while, as I expect your characters will have some questions.
Hopefully no one gets upset at the lack of service at Jake's *evil laugh*
A few centuries ago, Luck was a fickle friend. The wheel of fortune would turn and turn, casting princes into ruin and paupers into fame. At any moment, one's luck could take a sharp turn, for better or for worse. Like a lottery, no one could truly control it, merely attempting to survive in the thrashing, violent rivers of fate and destiny.
Altsoba is no exception to this. The first victim has been claimed, and so has the first seal been broken. The horrors and monstrosity gripping the planet have come true, as when a righteous mortal is plunged into darkness and despair, so will the Cage of All Evil begin to break. Blood will have blood, so they say.
Blood will have blood. The Cage is breaking. Sutton Smith was murdered by one once of integrity and grace.
The apocalypse has begun, my children. It does not matter what you do, whether you are kind or foul. Your fate and destiny are unknown to all, with the threads ever spun and ever changing.
Welcome to the end.
@Witch Cat: Daniyal's burns and boils vanish, yet his soul has become tainted. As a witch, he was already heading towards hell, but he is now eternally damned. He has opened the apocalypse and caused the end of the world.
@Lady Amalthea@Sohtem: The press begin to return the generators, pouting almost as they arrive at the hospital. They almost dump them in the parking lot before speeding off, however, one of them has a remarkable similarity to John Moses. He was a travel writer who died just a year ago in a freak rock climbing accident. More alarmingly, however, is the fact that Elizabeth's wounds seemed to have....vanished. It was as if they were never there, and her heart has ceased beating. There's no pulse, and any attempts to revive her are futile.
@Morose: Vivian's body continues to deteriorate rapidly, her eyes constantly flashing black. She doesn't have too long. Better do something--perhaps abandon ship.
@Pundii: The press begrudgingly do as you say. One of them steps apart from the crowd and claps you on the back, smiling a bit with respect. You may notice the name on her badge reads Amelia Pilkvist--the famed anchor for World News Now. "That was good of you, Leo," she says, before walking off.
@Pirouette: The strange woman flashes you a grin, watching you glance at the photograph. "My master wants her blood," she explains with a whisper, her form almost fluctuating. She seems almost blurry, clearly not human. "Have you seen her?" she asks, with a toss of her hair.
If your characters were not mentioned above, events have either been PMed to you or you are safe....for now.
Sutton Smith
Location: Jake's Interacting With: Death
Sutton finished serving Mitsukuri, and wiped down the counters one last time. She waved to the Japanese woman as she left, and went about securing the cash register. The Town Meeting would be starting shortly, and afterwards, practically everyone in town would be coming to Jake's.
She also couldn't deny that she was hoping the reporter would come back. He wasn't too hard on the eyes, and his accent was practically to die for. Smiling softly to herself, Sutton locked up the cash register, and took off the tiny apron around her waist. She hanged it on a hook, glancing into the mirror, only to see someone else staring back at her.
"Sorry, sir, we're closing up," Sutton apologized, turning around to face the grey man.
There was no one there.
Pulling her pistol out from underneath the table, Sutton undid the safety. Slowly, she walked forward, making a careful inspection of each spot of the dinner. Nothing stood out to her. All of the tables were the same, and nothing hid itself underneath them. The fans continued to remain off, with the light outside serving as a decent alternative to the electricity. The jukebox in the corner, however, sprang to life, music playing from it.
"This isn't funny!" Sutton shouted. "Show your crazy ass or I will shoot!"
There was no answer.
Glancing into the mirror, Sutton saw the frayed hand in front of her face. She shot two rounds quickly, only to have them hit the wall. Through the mirror, she saw the hand grip her, and by an invisible force, she was suspended in air. Boils and burns quickly covered her, and in an instant, she fell to the ground. Her hair and clothing remained in tact, but otherwise, only a charred corpse remained.
The sign at the door still indicated that Jake's was open. The food for the lunchtime rush was still heating up. On the walls, the clocks were stopped at precisely 11:45 AM. Only the burnt and destroyed body of Sutton Smith revealed that anything happened there.
The first seal had been broken.
The Reverend and the Sheriff
Location: The Town Meeting Interacting With: The Good People of Altsoba
There was something wrong with the Reverend's daughter, and there wasn't anything he could do right now. The mayor left everyone all alone there, so there was no one else who had any authority in the town. He had to be at that meeting, no matter what. Zach knew he had to run it, but maybe he could get the Reverend to help him. He probably knew more about this than anyone else.
He got into his car and headed to the Town Center. A few people were already there, along with a news crew. They had somehow gotten a generator in with them, allowing them to film and broadcast the meeting. He scanned the crowded square, eventually finding the Reverend. He waved at him, and motioned to the crowd, shrugging a little. Once everyone was in the square, Zach walked up to the front, meeting up with him there. Everyone quieted a little, and looked at the two off them.
" Good afternoon everyone!" he said to the crowd of people, "As most of you know, there have been several problems over the past day, and these incidents involve the whole town. Several of the town"s citizens have left so far because they are fearful of what is happening in the town. I have Reverend Adder with me, who has thankfully agreed to help with the meeting, since he knows a lot of what is happening here. Now, I"ll turn things over to him, and see if he can shine some light on what is happening here".
The Reverend stepped forward, his hand folded neatly on a gilded bible. The spine didn't have a single crease or crack in it, as if it had never been opened before. Stepping behind the podium, the Reverend set it down, and folded his hands neatly. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
He paused, scanning the crowd. "That's Jeremiah 29:11. In these perilous and fearful times, I take a special comfort in that. God has a plan for us-- God has a plan for us all. He is not condemning us to fear. He is not causing these disasters, these famines, these attacks... These are perils made by us."
Glancing down, he placed his hands on the podium. "Who are we to question God? Who are we to sin, and declare it is in God's name? We must have faith in the Lord, for if we have lost that, then the apocalypse has truly come, and Satan's children shall run the Earth."
Bowing his head, the Reverend offered a prayer, before taking a step back, done with his theatrics.
"Thank you Reverend Adder for that. Now everyone, we need to remain calm about this. We need to prepare for whatever comes our way. There is nothing more we can do, so stay calm and keep going about your usual business if you can. We need to stand together when the time comes, so stay on guard. If you notice anything strange, be sure to let me know at the Police Station. " he said.
A young forensic tech came forward, Cecily was her name. She tapped Zachary on the shoulder and whispered something in his ear. His face grew grim, and he turned to her nodding silently. She walked away, and he let out a sigh, turning towards the crowd once more.
"Alright, I have some very grave news concerning our mayor. As most of you know, he was in the last group to leave town. His body was found in the woods, not long ago. It appears that he was killed by a grizzly, but we will be investigating into this don"t worry. Currently, the next person in line to run the city is me, since everyone between the mayor and myself in the line of command has decided to leave town. If anyone has any questions, now is the time to ask." the sheriff said, stepping back from the podium, and waiting for the onslaught of questions.
