If there's still room, I'd love to join. :) Been eyeing this for a few days, it looks super cool.
@Sohtem Post looks great! :)

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Coroner's Office

Cecily nodded, pulling out her phone. "Good thing I took pictures of the scene, yeah? I can compile a list from the photographs--it's more accurate than my memory would be anyways."

She smiled awkwardly, quickly scanning through the photographs. She opened a note pad on her phone, writing down the vague details of everything that she saw in the photos. Once done, she followed Officer Gregory into Wallace's office, her eyes glancing towards the bullet that had been meant for her head. It still felt entirely too surreal for her, but focusing on her work, she noticed Gregory handling evidence logs.

"Give the man a medal," Cecily muttered, her eyes wide. "He actually stuck to some protocol!" She could have jumped up in the air, but decided quickly it would look too eager. Most people didn't celebrate when someone stuck to the bureaucratic measures that governed forensic work. She played it off cool, opening up the note pad she had made, and doing a quick comparison with Wallace's log. A few items on there weren't on her list -- but from the location listed with them, they came from the crime scene portion up on the roof.

"Is anything from the rooftop missing? I didn't get a chance to go up there and process those items," Cecily explained, continuing on with the cross referencing. Eventually, she determined that only two objects were missing from the log. "The gun and the phone weren't logged in. Everything else is here."

Grabbing a pair of latex gloves from the desk, Cecily snapped them on, and went to work sorting through the mess of evidence. Each bindle was labeled with the case identifier and piece of evidence, all coming back to the evidence log as a sort of master key. She searched through the mess, finding bit by bit, and trying her best not to disturb anything. If they were lucky, the intruder left behind prints or fibers or something. It'd give them a far better lead than just a strong blonde woman.

"Here's the phone..." Cecily muttered, frowning as she bit her lip. "Gun's missing. Ballistics likely didn't process it yet as well, so there goes that evidence..."

She sighed. Who in their right mind would rob a coroner's office? It was as bold a move as robbing a police station. There had to be something bigger going on. Two half-sisters commit suicide, then Lyle, and an armed robbery at the coroner's office? As far as Cecily was concerned, there was some sort of larger criminal conspiracy going on.

Though, to be fair, it wasn't like criminal conspiracies were exactly unheard of in Justice. "Perhaps the security team that assisted last night remembers something about the guns? They're super into gun, I bet, maybe they noticed something...People tend to pay more attention to things they're into, after all..."
@Ojo chan 42 I'll make sure your character can find a kimono pretty quickly ;)

Jack Hudson

Location: DMV in Carrollton, Georgia --> 515 Longview Street, Carrollton, Georgia

Jack nodded, peering outside as well as Tatiana did a quick check for walkers. He didn't see any, but it was extremely comforting to him that she didn't seem to spot any either. Tatiana moved forward a bit more, pointing out the chevy.

"She's a beaut," Jack whispered, tempting to whistle a bit. He'd learned from that mistake, making unneeded noise tended to only bring more harm. Tatiana dashed off to the truck and Jack quickly followed, climbing into the driver's seat after Tatiana had finished filling the tank with gas. He inserted the key and, as quietly as he could, started the engine.

"Here. Road already clear this way," Tatiana instructed, pointing to a small point on the map. Tatiana buckled up, but Jack hardly bothered. Being killed in a car accident was far more desirable than being bitten by a walker. It almost sounded like a vacation. Turning slightly, due to an old habit, Jack pulled the car out of the small parking spot, before shifting the truck into drive.

"Yuh friend, did you two have a meet up point or somethin'?" Jack asked, quickly driving to the house. Had he had his way, he would have floored it, but the prospect of revving the engine gave him pause. It'd be too needlessly noisy, reckless even, practically like announcing Hey, fresh eats!

Glancing over at the map again, Jack was glad to see the DMV receding into the distance. It wasn't too far of a drive to the house, and he cherished the freedom of movement. Losing his car and going on foot had been one of his more terrifying experiences. It was hard to protect yourself with a tarp--at least in a car, there was metal and glass, helping to keep the walkers out.

Unless, of course, those bastards learned how to open a car door or roll down a window. Jack had never seen one able to, but if his years on the force taught him anything, it was that anything was possible. That and that he was rather paranoid.

"This it?" Jack asked, nearing the house. "Anywhere in particulah we should pahk?"
For anyone working on their character sheets, the inventory section has been added. It's in the second post, right below BlueSky's. :) There are some details provided. For now, however, you can only pick between swords 41 and 45, and then basic armor. You can choose the colors for your basic armor. Everything else will be available at shops or dropped by bosses.

Gwen Westbrook

Location: Gwen's House
Interacting With: Bernadette Blackwell @MissCapnCrunch

Gwen finished pinning her hair up, hearing the doorbell ring twice, and someone pound. Rolling her eyes, she knew exactly who it was. And as far as she was concerned, Bernie could bloody well wait. It had taken her a good hour to get the three looping buns done, and grabbing the makeshift staff she made, Gwen went down the stairs, entirely alone in the house.

Her father was out on patrol that night, despite being a homicide detective. It was Halloween and they needed bodies--no matter what their normal duty was. Her mother, a school administrator, was at the local elementary school's carnival, helping to run some of the many booths. And with her brother away at boarding school, it made perfect sense for the six friends to host the party at Gwen's house. Nothing too outrageous could happen, of course. Even if Gwen's father wasn't present, that didn't mean he couldn't recognize the residue of certain activities.

Standing in front of the door, Gwen smirked a bit. She could see Bernie through the glass pane, but instead chose to take out her phone, flipping over to Pokemon Go. She stood there, snickering to herself, as she focused more on catching an eevee than her friend. After catching the pokemon, she peeked up at Bernie, hoping to see her fuming.

Opening the door, Gwen stepped aside. "Where's the fire?" she teased, closing the door after Bernie came inside. She tucked her phone away, happy that her Rey costume provided a few places to hide it. It wasn't every day that she got to dress up like a Star Wars character.

"There's food in the living room if you're hungry already," Gwen commented. "No one else is here yet...obviously."
@Pirouette Like I said, special circumstances for extensions will need to be discussed over PM. I'll be off for the next twelve or so hours, so I'll answer any PMs in the morning
