Jack winked, putting the Rainbow Brite monstrosity over his shoulders. He knew what gender roles dictated, but he couldn't help but have his same goofy grin as always. He nodded at Miss Zoie, listening to her carefully. Every bit of information he could get would help--especially because he knew, no matter what they did, Tatiana would have some anxiety over it all. At the instant she mentioned food, Jack's stomach growled, practically on cue.

"That sounds amazin'," Jack remarked. His eyes followed Tatiana as she went back to the truck, his heart dropping slightly...until he saw her emerge with the blanket and the board game. He grinned again, knowing already that they likely wouldn't be leaving this place. They'd be staying. Maybe they'd get a little house somewhere, someplace quiet where Tatiana could dance and he could trip and fall to music.

Wrapping an arm around Tatiana's shoulder, he held her close to him as the pair of them followed Zoie through the gate and into what he assumed to be the town proper. Little kids were kicking around a ball, a bit of dust coming up with each motion. His eyes widened, and in a moment, Jack could see a future there--or at least, something close to one. Before this entire awfulness, Jack had wanted to eventually have a family. And while he couldn't see himself bringing life into this world, he could see himself finally having a home here.

He glanced at Tatiana and spied her smile, giving him more reason to believe they'd remain in Newnan, if allowed. He closed his eyes slightly as the cool air touched his face. "This can't be real," Jack chuckled, taking a look around. His stomach grumbled again as he saw two trays be prepared for them, and he sat down at one of the tables after Zoie motioned for them to do so.

"Thank you, miss," Jack nodded, as soon as Tatiana had sat down. "This is wicked kind of you."

Hearing someone approach from behind, Jack craned his neck, his hand already entwined with Tatiana's. "Pleasah to meet you as well, sih," Jack acknowledged, standing from his chair to shake the man's hand. It was a bit traditional, but that was how Jack was raised to be. "This place is wicked amazin', I can haahdly believe this isn't a dream."

But this is a bit of a double edged sword, as with her bravery, she's a bit impulsive. She makes up her mind almost on a whim, not being the type to stop and carefully consider all of the options. Once her mind is made up, however, she's steadfast. It takes a lot to sway her, causing her to be incredibly loyal to her causes -- for the most part.

History

The Reason You Chose The Side You Did: In the first war, Dorothy had sided with the Alliance mostly in order to escape her father. The academy gave her the formal medical training she needed, and she was able to leave behind her rotten life. This time, she backed the browncoats due to her principles. The crimes the Alliance committed were unforgivable. As much as she enjoyed the idea of a united galaxy, the events that occurred in Miranda went too far. It was time for her to pick up the fight again--this time, for the browncoats. She couldn't live with herself if she didn't do anything to set things right.

History: The oldest child in the family, Dorothy was born on Boros. Her father ran a bar, and as the years went on, he fell into alcoholism. Brawls became more and more common, and Dorothy ended up tending to her father and his friends on more than one occasion. She picked up crude medical skills, but fortunately, her father never physically abused her mother or her sister. The abuse was verbal, if anything. By the time she was old enough, she joined the alliance academy to become an army medic.

In the first war, she fought for the Alliance. Being from Boros, a planet with a heavy Alliance presence and ties, it was logical and expected for Dorothy. Serving as an army medic, she saw a lot of injuries and death, and on occasion, got into combat herself. She ended the war with the rank of Captain, and settled down in Londinium, working in a military hospital as a doctor. It was comforting to be around others who had been in the war, making sleep a little easier after what she'd seen. While she missed her family dearly, she didn't return to Boros. Instead, she got in touch with her sister and her mother, avoiding all contact with her father as possible. She found stability in her life.

Her life was plunged back into chaos when the signal was sent out. The actions the Alliance took appalled her, and Dorothy resigned from her position at the hospital. Packing up her things, she set out to find a way to serve in the fight for justice. On her way out, she stole as many supplies as she could from the Alliance, hoping to use them for better purposes. The Alliance couldn't be allowed to stay in power, not after what they did. Dorothy met up with her sister, Daphne, and together, they planned to join a browncoat aligned ship. They'd fight this war together.

Initially, things between Anisa and Dorothy were tense. The crew needed a medic, but given Dorothy's former allegiance to the Alliance, a close eye was kept on her. However, as time went on, Anisa and Dorothy found common ground in their love of organization and playing cards. The two quickly became best friends from that point on, with each trusting the other with their life.

"He's not too bad. More closed off than some heavier people's arteries, however..."
Dorothy respects Jackson a lot, taking care not to push his boundaries. They aren't the best of friends, but they get along well enough. Whenever she has to do something a bit painful for his medical care, she generally asks him about the war and his wife--tends to distract him, even if it's a huen dahn type of thing to do.

Despite being friends, the two of them are almost opposites. Dorothy enjoys strictness and order, while Genevieve is more into relaxation and the finer things. It can cause Dorothy to feel a bit frustrated, especially as she sees Genevieve as having a sheltered world view. Still, friends are friends. Dorothy wouldn't let anyone hurt Genevieve.

Had he not been so young, his antics would have irritated Dorothy to no end. However, due to his age and her own childhood growing up taking care of Daphne, she tolerates most of his behavior, just rolling her eyes at it. And while he does have a bit of a crush on her, she's oblivious to it. He's her kid brother, in her mind.

"He's too much like my father. He could use a preacher himself."
With the Preacher's quarters practically across from her own, Dorothy started off vastly annoyed. Every interaction with him just reeked of her drunkard father, and she practically choked on the hypocrisy Atticus practiced. Somewhere along the lines, the endless arguments turned into a budding friendship. Things are still tense, but they've found common ground in their mission to save people--even if Dorothy continues to remind him that a verse won't fix a gunshot wound.

"Turncoats got to stick together, right?"
Both Camilla and Dorothy fought for the alliance and switched sides, realizing its flaws and horrors. They formed a friendship from it, becoming kindred spirits, especially as Dorothy knew Quinn before he became the monster he is today. The relationship is one of mutual understanding, causing the friendship to have a strong foundation. If Camilla ever needs to talk, Dorothy's there.

"Him? He pays a good deal and doesn't cause too much trouble. Can't be too awful a person."
Dorothy and Lionel hardly ever interact with each other. He doesn't come into the Med Bay often, and his drinking never causes her issues the way Preacher's sometimes can. She doesn't respect him considering his self interest and greed, but she doesn't dislike him either.

Daphne's older sister by five years, Dorothy has a bit of a strained friendship with her. She spent a majority of her life taking care of her sister and her mother, until she left to join the Alliance's army. There's a bit of resentment in the relationship from Dorothy leaving Daphne, but the two of them care deeply about each other. Dorothy sees Daphne as being able to take care of herself, but if anyone tries to hurt Daphne, they'll have hell to pay.

~Personal Information~

Personality: Incredibly brave and loyal, Aravis never suffers from a shortage of courage. Before being sent to Earth, Aravis was arrogant and egotistical, looking down on those who were not Tarkheenas or Tarkaans. Overtly prideful, this almost reckless pretentiousness toned down quite considerably. While she still is a bit prideful, she no longer is the entirely self-centered person she once was.

Aravis can also be incredibly manipulative, able to analyze a situation quickly and make the best moves needed. However, she only does this if she believes it is for the greater good, never trying to actively cause harm to anyone. After getting some of the other kids in her foster home into trouble, Aravis has become more aware of the impact of her actions on others. She has, essentially, become a hero, willing to put her life on the line for others.

That doesn't mean however that she's going to suffer fools. Confident and decisive, Aravis is a very firm and serious personality, getting everything done. She hates those who sit around all day, preferring herself to constantly be accomplishing things. Hard work is how she relaxes--that, or reading a good book. She loves stories.

Strengths:

• Aravis is a talented swordsman, trained in various types of blades and styles. On occasion, she fights mounted on horseback, primarily on Earth through her occupation at Medieval Life.
• Aravis is keen and clever, an excellent strategist, and able to confuse and bewilder her enemies.
• Aravis' confidence and bravery never falter. She is fiercely independent.
• She is a fantastic storyteller, a key ability shared among the nobles in Calormen, and an ability that kept her English grades in school reasonably high on Earth.
• Her horseback riding skills know no parallel.
• She is highly adaptable, able to go with the flow and follow through on each and every situation. While things may surprise her, they don't incapacitate her.

• Aravis can be rather hotheaded and self-centered, looking out for herself first. However, she isn't nearly as egotistical as she once was.

Back in Calormen, Aravis was learning to use a scimitar. On Earth, due to her job, Aravis was skilled with a lance, straight sword, and rapier. In Calormen, she used her fallen brother's weapon. On Earth, she has weapons specifically assigned to her for her employment at Medieval Life.

Brief Biography (Life In Rivenspire - FT World):
Aravis was born in the province of Calavar, in the country of Calormen, deep to the south of Narnia. Her father was the ruling lord of the province, making her a member of the nobility, a Tarkheena. She grew up with a rather pleasant childhood in the supposed Golden Age of Narnia. She spent her time with her good friend, Lasaraleen, often playing at the lake. While Lasaraleen was more into gossiping and preparing for married life, Aravis enjoyed learning to sword fight and to wear armor, taking lessons from her brother Devadas before he perished in a war.

Her life took a turn for the worst when her mother died as well, causing her father to remarry. Her stepmother despised her and plotted to marry Aravis off to Ahoshta Tarkaan as soon as she turned thirteen. Ahoshta Tarkaan, a vile and hideous man, was nearly fifty years her elder. Her father wouldn't listen to Aravis, so she fled the house in fear, being lost in the woods. Her horse Hwin encouraged the small girl to not threat, and that once she was older, the two of them would run away to Narnia together. Almost fortunately for her, the Tisroc got wind of Maleficent's plans, and sent all of the young Tarkaans and Tarkheenas they could through a portal to Earth in order to protect the nobility of Calormen.

Aravis was found in a horse stable near Seattle, Washington. The owners of the stable freaked out about the small girl, and called the police. The police took her into custody, attempting their best to ascertain the name of the child. They placed her into foster care, where the only ones adopted were newborns. Her first foster parents named her Arava Chander, yet they quickly grew tired of the troublesome girl, and sent her on her way. Too old to be adopted, Aravis spent her life going from foster home to foster home, lacking anything constant in her life. She learned to brawl with the other children who would pick on her for the color of her skin. By the time she finished high school, she was yet another one of the children who the system had failed, with a juvi record five miles long.

One day, caught in a fight in an alley, the owner of a Medieval Life location happened to spy her skills. He tested her ability with the sword, finding it to be remarkable, and hired her on the spot. Ever since, Aravis has lived on site with the Medieval Life crew, portraying a knight, a rogue, a bandit--whatever they need that day. The daily combat and escape from "real life" has proved far more beneficial to her than she could ever imagine. It's the first place she could ever call home.

In her home country, Calormen, Aravis tended to wear belted tunics and loose cloth pants. She dressed more like a tomboy than a lady, only wearing dresses such as this and this when forced to by social events. She preferred things that were comfortable, things that she could fight in, and whatever would help to spare her from the overbearing sun. In Archenland, with the cooler climate and due to her responsibilities at court, Aravis adopted warmer clothing that would still prove functional in battle, such as this and this. Of course, this never prevented Aravis from wearing a finely crafted piece of Archenland made armor.

On Earth, however, Aravis found herself most comfortable in tunic dresses. They reminded her of her dear home of Calormen, but on occasion, she would wear traditional English clothing, living with the Pevensies in England. No matter what she wore, however, she was always ready for a fight.

As for her physical appearance, Aravis has long locks of brown hair, brown eyes, and a dark complexion. Nimble and lean, she has almost the body of a sailor, springy and ready for action. In Archenland, she was hailed as being one of their most beautiful queens. Of course, she never tried to look pretty for anyone other than herself.

Incredibly brave and loyal, Aravis never suffers from a shortage of courage. Before traveling with Shasta/Cor, Aravis was arrogant and egotistical, looking down on those who were not Tarkheenas or Tarkaans. Overtly prideful, this almost reckless pretentiousness toned down quite considerably throughout her journey to Archenland. While she still is a bit prideful, she no longer is the entirely self-centered person she once was.

Aravis can also be incredibly manipulative, able to analyze a situation quickly and make the best moves needed. However, she only does this if she believes it is for the greater good, never trying to actively cause harm to anyone. After punishment from Aslan due to her causing a slave to take a beating, Aravis has become more cautious and considerate towards the impact of her actions on others. She has, essentially, become a hero, willing to put her life on the line for others.

That doesn't mean however that she's going to suffer fools. Confident and decisive, Aravis is a very firm and serious personality, getting everything done. She hates those who sit around all day, preferring herself to constantly be accomplishing things. Hard work is how she relaxes--that, or reading a good book. She loves stories.

Aravis is a talented swordsman, trained in various types of blades and styles. She is skilled in horseback riding as well, being able to fight while mounted. Skilled as well in diplomacy and strategy, Aravis has successfully led Archenland for several years. She is also a highly skilled storyteller, a quality prized among Calormen nobles.

Aravis can be rather hotheaded and self-centered, looking out for herself first. She's incredibly stubborn and prideful, believing that she can do everything better than anyone else. Most of this, however, is to cover up some deep insecurities brought on by her upbringing and the death of her husband. And furthermore, she's a bit of a martyr waiting to happen.

• O N C E U P O N A T I M E

Aravis was born in the province of Calavar, in the country of Calormen, deep to the south of Narnia. Her father was the ruling lord of the province, making her a member of the nobility, a Tarkheena. She grew up with a rather pleasant childhood in the supposed Golden Age of Narnia. She spent her time with her good friend, Lasaraleen, often playing at the lake. While Lasaraleen was more into gossiping and preparing for married life, Aravis enjoyed learning to sword fight and to wear armor, taking lessons from her brother Devadas before he perished in a war. It was a world where women were expected to be objects and where slavery was commonplace. For the most part, Aravis was unhindered by both of those aspects.

That changes when her mother died and her father remarried. Her stepmother despised her and plotted to marry Aravis off to Ahoshta Tarkaan at the tender age of thirteen. Ahoshta Tarkaan, a vile and hideous man, was nearly fifty years her elder. Repulsed and expecting to have her father acquiese to her demands, Aravis was shocked when he refused, insisting that she marry Ahoshta. Finding no help from her family or her dear friend, Aravis decided it was best to kill herself. There was no other way out, as her eyes were opened to the cruelties of the world she lived in.

Deep in the woods, under the pretense of going off for a several day journey to pray to the gods before her marriage, Arravis readied her dagger, and began to drive it towards her heart. Instead, her horse Hwin began to talk. She thought she was delusional at first, but when it happened again, Aravis learned of the mythical land of Narnia. Determined to escape Calormene and go to the seemingly perfect place, she ran off under the disguise of a young Tarkaan. Along the way, she ran into a poor boy named Shasta, journeying with him. In the process, they ran into Queen Susan and King Edmund of Narnia, and overheard a deadly plot to invade Archenland, proposed by the Tisroc's son.

Eventually making their way into Archenland, Aravis' back was skinned by Aslan as punishment for her crimes. Shasta went on to the battle, leaving Aravis behind, wounded. It was there that Shasta learned of his identity as Prince Cor during an epic battle between the Archenlanders and the Calormene. Prince Cor invited Aravis to remain at court with him in Anvard. Having been disowned by her family and not wishing to return to Calormen, Aravis accepted.

Growing closer with Prince Cor each and every day, Aravis began to train harder and harder, hoping to escape the nightmares of her past. She developed a bit of PTSD from her experiences, especially after learning her childhood friend, Larsaleen, was beheaded for aiding Aravis and Cor in their escape. Nearly bringing Archenland to rage war against Calormen, Aravis found herself lost in the middle of Narnia, having been sent there by Aslan.

Because of this, she met Queen Lucy, and the pair of them became great friends. Healing and grieving the loss of her dear friend, Aravis returned to Archenland, and when she was sixteen, accepted Cor's proposal. The wedding was a somber affair, as King Lune had perished on that very day. Aravis became Queen of Archenland, leading her country in and out of war, despite having a bit of a temper. Two years into the reign of Cor and Aravis, her husband died of the same illness that had ailed King Lune. Dawning her mourning garb, Aravis became the sole ruler of Archenland.

It was a few weeks after that Aravis found she was pregnant. Vowing to name the child Ram, as Cor would have wanted, Aravis' troubles only continued when she miscarried. All of Archenland wept for their Queen, and Aravis soon realized her fear: she wouldn't be able to conceive a child ever again. Throwing herself into her work, Aravis continued to rule Archenland, with her niece, Ramna, being groomed to rule Archenland after Aravis. Prince Corin, Aravis' brother-in-law, helped handle the matters of a king, despite not bearing the title.

Life went on.

With the dark magic separating the lands, winter engulfing Narnia, and the portals closing, Archenland had fallen into chaos, with Calormen gearing up for yet another invasion. Princess Ramna, only five years old, was far too young to rule. Prince Corin and Queen Aravis were the only remaining guiding figures. With the chance to use magic to escape to a new land, Aravis had insisted that Corin and Ramna use it, and stay with the Queens and Kings of Narnia in the new world. She would remain behind, and look after the rest of Archenland.

But by some cruel twist of fate, Aslan intervened, and ensured that Aravis was the one sent to the new world. Living in England with the Pevensies, Aravis continues to be haunted by memories of her lost family in Archenland. She currently works as a fencing instructor, trying her best to make do in another world that judges her by the color of her skin and her gender. Taking a bit of a fancy to Lucy, Aravis still retains her mannerisms, swearing by Aslan and Tash out of habit. She hasn't truly adapted to the new world, still feeling lost and out of place.

Archenland had been the only place she felt at home. And now, it was gone.

Personality: Edmund perhaps has the most complex personality of all the Pevensie siblings. Initially, Edmund was a soured and selfish person, looking out for himself and not paying attention to signs of imminent danger. He sold his family out over candy that hardly tastes any good, for example. Mischievous and snotty, Edmund could have been described as a scoundrel. It was only after Lucy healed him with her cordial that his insidious personality melted away.

Ever since, Edmund has become kind, noble, daring, and brave. Noted as being the best of the siblings now when it comes to diplomatic matters, Edmund ensures justice wherever he goes. His dry wit and sarcasm are still present, but no longer is his selfishness a core component of his personality. Edmund now attempts to do good for others, such as vowing to avenge his sister Susan's death. His cunning behavior has changed into a great understanding of tactics, allowing him to become perhaps the finest swordsman Narnia has ever seen.

Brief Biography:
The second youngest of the Pevensie siblings, Edmund was sent to boarding school with his older brother, Peter. While boarding school was a fantastic experience for Peter, it only served to sour Edmund. He became cruel, selfish, and uncaring due to his experiences there. This harsh attitude towards life put a definite chip on his shoulder, one that he carried as he and his siblings were evacuated to the country side during the Second World War.

In the country, Edmund spent most of his time indoors, hating the thought of going outside. He teased his younger sister, Lucy, mercilessly. When she informed them that there was a forest through a wardrobe, Edmund followed her through, and found that she was telling the truth to his surprise. It was there that he met the so called Queen of Narnia, who gave him warm drink and Turkish Delight, promising him that he could be a prince if he brought his siblings to meet her. Uncaring as to what would happen to them, Edmund returned through the wardrobe, and lied to his siblings about having gone to Narnia.

By the time the four of them had ended up in Narnia, Edmund could no longer keep up this charade. Peter was (understandably) cross at him for how malicious and spiteful he'd been to Lucy. This only served to further motivate Edmund to betray his siblings to the White Witch. It was only once the White Witch threw him in a dungeon and then later decided to kill him that Edmund realized the grave error he made.

Eventually, Aslan and his forces managed to rescue Edmund, with Edmund fighting in battle alongside his siblings. Aslan gave his life for Edmund, and Lucy had "healed" him of his wicked personality and fatal injuries through the cordial. Edmund fought with his siblings against the White Witch and her forces, and snapped the White Witch's wand, right after she killed his sister, Susan. Aslan saved the three siblings and whisked them away.

Edmund, rather than finding himself with Peter or Lucy, found himself in a rather strange land. A passerby informed him that it was Camelot, and he headed in the direction of the nearest castle, searching for help for his siblings. Instead, he became acquainted with King Arthur and allowed to remain at court, helping him as a Knight of the Round Table. However, ever since, Edmund has been obsessively searching for ways to find his siblings again, and perhaps, to even bring Susan back.

In Albion growing up, Sherlock was forced to wear regal gowns fitting of the time period, and to tie her long hair into braids. Hating the pantyhose and all incorporated with it, Sherlock transitioned to wearing light brown pants, stereotypical cowboy shoes, a dark leather jacket, and a light, breathable shirt. Her hair was kept tied up in a bun, and then concealed underneath her cap. Fortunately, she didn't have to deal with large breasts, and managed to pull off the male part quite easily. For the part of Westernmost Sherlock initially called home, her clothes were rather in fashion. Her formal attire normally consisted of something akin to this.

Coming to Mystvale, Sherlock adapted slightly with more modern styles. She dressed in a style similar to this, using a fedora now to cover up her hair. A bit of an odd look, but Sherlock hated the idea of wearing anything that closely resembled a deerstalker, as much as it would help with hiding some of her more feminine features. She never touches makeup, but when at home by herself, she lets her hair out. It's a bit short, with the ends bleached after an accident during a chemical experiment. Her skin has grown tan from her time in Westernmost, but with the cloudy skies of Washington, it's returning more to its original pale shade.

Over the decades, many have speculated what caused Sherlock to become the way she is. Her flatmate, Doctor John Watson, once attempted to explain it was the shock caused by the death of her father. Holmes herself hardly cares for such theories, and given that the Coyne family all believes her to be dead, there are no other relatives to be concerned.

Sherlock is, in a word, a smart ass. An utter jerk with a lack of regard for social customs and standards, Sherlock can seem to have a disregard for human life and the pain of others. If rules inconvenience her, she doesn't follow them. If information seems silly and inane, she doesn't retain it. She talks to herself and a skull, named Billy, and plays the violin noisily, as well as testing out various chemical combinations on others. While some may mistake Sherlock as being a machine, it is more that she's pushed away anything that she deems unneeded in order to accomplish her work. She is an addict, a thrill seeker, gambling with her own life in order to prove a point. She always wants to be right, but even more than that, she craves to be wrong. She wants things to be complex and clever, and thus, has secluded herself from most natural things in the world. However, that isn't to say that she doesn't have a heart. It takes ages, but those that she cares about, she'll lay down her life for.

Sherlock, born Margaret Mallory Coyne, was the youngest of three. Her older brothers were Mycroft and Sherrinford, and they belonged to a prominent noble family. While they weren't on the level of Kings and Queens, the Coyne family had a moderate estate on the countryside. Her eldest brother, Sherrinford, ran the family estate when he turned fifteen, as their father was killed during service with the Royal Navy after a brush with pirates. Mycroft and Margaret then grew up with their brother Sherrinford acting more like a father, rather than a brother.

It was when Margaret turned fifteen that the Coyne family was informed of a recent inheritance of a property in Westernmost. A distant relative had passed away, leaving the deed to them. Given that Mycroft had become a government official, Margaret persuaded her mother to allow her to travel to Westernmost. With the deed in hand, Margaret traveled to Westernmost under guard. And as things always appear to go wrong, they did so spectacularly. The guards were slaughtered by a bandit, with Margaret snatching up a gun and killing her attacker. Given that it was just her, and she quickly deduced the lack of power she'd continue to hold as a woman, Margaret invented a new identity for herself.

Arriving in Westernmost at the property, dressed as a man, she was henceforth known as Sir William Sherlock Scott Holmes, though most referred to her as Sherlock Holmes. Heralded as a Consulting Detective, Sherlock sold the property and moved into a flat on Baker Street in New Orleans. 221B Baker Street, to be precise. A prominent young army doctor served as her flatmate, and as caring as the man was, he was thick enough to never realize Sherlock was a woman.

The pair of them went on hundreds of cases together, with Watson writing up Sherlock's exploits for the Strand, a newspaper in the region. With each passing year, Sherlock became more obsessed with her work, and perhaps, more ridiculous as well. She began hunting down the shadow of James Moriarty, as well as suffering defeat at the hands of a singer, Irene Adler. As much as her mind grew brilliant, her heart seemed to grow colder. She relied on drugs in order to pass the time, and on occasion, in order to solve her cases.

However, there did come a time when even Sherlock was positively baffled. Magic never served to impress her, with her always either disproving it or finding a scientific explanation for the abnormality. The Cataclysm wasn't something Sherlock could explain. Suspecting the devilish Moriarty as having something to do with it, Sherlock traded blows with him at the edge of a waterfall, each benefiting from the recent invention of gunpowder. Moriarty knew Sherlock's secrets, and threatened the safety of her friend. Deciding to take matters into her own hands once and for all, Sherlock tackled Moriarty, causing the pair of them to fall over the edge. Watson, hidden nearby, watched his dear friend perish.

Or so it seemed. Sherlock Holmes' reputation had reached far and wide, with most focusing on the ease with which she solved cases, rather than her abrasive personality. In what Sherlock has begrudingly admitted to be magic, Merlin pulled her out of harm's way, and whisked her away with the others to Mystvale.

Now in Mystvale, Sherlock has been set up in the police department, as the head detective. While this may sound great and fantastic, it actually means that most cases aren't even investigated, as the detective sees no reason to bother with them. She only solves cases that interest her. Anything less than thrilling gets shoved aside, causing petty criminals to get let off more often than the intelligent ones. For example, Hook's robbing spree has gone without investigation as Sherlock knows she's doing it, but can't be bothered to do anything about it.

Funnily enough, Sherlock continues to pretend to be a man. No one in Mystvale has figured it out yet.

Millicent nodded her head. Pulling up a bit of dirt with her left hand, she sifted through it, watching as it fell and once again became a bit of the ground. She giggled a bit, for no reason at all. "Know any jokes?" she inquired, laughing ever more. Someone would probably be irritated when the boat didn't come back on time, and they'd go looking for it. Perhaps then they'd realize the two of them were missing and go looking.

"No idea," Millicent admitted. "Never really tried...But if it'll get us out of here, I'm sure I can manage."

She shook her head at Alice's apology, waving it off with her hand. "Don't be. This place is cool, you know. How many people do you know who've been trapped under a bloody volcano?"
