Jack Hudson

Location: Newnan Building E - Apartment E2

With the razor gliding smoothly across his face, removing the little bits of cute and innocent stubble, Jack couldn't help but dance ever so slightly as he went. In between strokes of the razor, he'd wield the razor like a microphone, as if he was at a karaoke bar. Every measure was accented but a slight tap of his hand against the sink, and in true Jack fashion, he sang a sweet and romantic song. By the time he finished, he clapped his hands against his face, pleased with his job.

"The name's Bond. James Bond," he said into the mirror, before pretending to flip long flowing locks of hair over his shoulder. He then cracked a goofy grin and made finger guns at the mirror, mimicking the sounds of gunfire for a short moment. The nervous energy of his wedding day had to come out somewhere--and for Jack, it was already incredibly likely for him to start acting like a four year old boy when left to his own devices.

But with his shaving job done, he mentally went through the list from Miss Sally again. His next most important job was to avoid running into Tatiana--and rehearse his wedding vows. He had an idea to try to say them in Russian if he could, but for him, the biggest accomplishment would be to pronounce any of those damn R's. It was really fortunate that Tatiana was an R free name, after all.

And so, Jack remained in Miss Sally's apartment, going through his wedding vows. They were wicked cool--or at least, that's what he thought of them. But to be honest, all that mattered to him was that he'd get to marry Tatiana before the sun set that day.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Outer Wall

It was frustrating, the lack of information they had. The speculation itself could have been fun, but Beatrice doubted that anything good could have happened. It had to have been something that rocked the foundation of Newnan, something big. It was a military settlement--people didn't abandon posts for no reason, especially without a schedule. And while she did trust Lyon, he was just as clueless as the rest of them about the situation.

However, Beatrice did crack a slight smile at Ciel's suggestion. While Ciel may have survived the apocalypse, he was still a kid at heart it seemed. But to be fair, the thought of people eating other people was hardly unrealistic these days. In fact, it was quite common, what with the abundance of walkers and everything. But Riley herself did have a point--the people in Franklin were hardly plentiful enough to be eaten or support Newnan. And who would want to eat a drug addict like Chloe anyways?

It'd be some wedding feast, however...

Chloe Ridgeway

Location: Outer Wall

Chloe let out a bit of a sigh, cupping her hands together briefly to blow warm air on them. She had grown up in Indiana and had experienced the cold before, even despite her move to California after high school. And as much as she disliked the cold, it was bearable. Detoxing was a far more painful experience--especially when there were walkers about. She leaned slightly on her right foot, and then on her left, playing a game of sorts with herself to pass the time.

"Want one?" Chloe offered, having noticed her sister eyeing the cigarette. She took another drag from it, grateful for the comfort that it brought. It was certainly one advantage of Ryan's obsession with her, getting free cigarettes and whatnot. He wouldn't have a reason to share with her otherwise.

However, at Riley's comment about her not having enough meat on her bones, Chloe couldn't help but laugh. She had always been a bit skinny, with all of her weight coming from lean muscle--but it was even truer now. Prisons weren't always the best for keeping up an athletic regimen, but Newnan's conditions practically encouraged it. The conditions of the world as a whole encouraged it. "I'm sure they won't eat us. Or at least, not me," Chloe teased. "Ryan'd throw a bitch fit if they even tried to."

Dorothy Pender

Location: Retribution Medical Bay ---> Retribution Conference Room

If it had not been quite so easy to slip back into routine and manage an Alliance medical bay, Dorothy's mind perhaps would have been reeling from the events of that day. Her good friend, Camilla, had been murdered. An old friend, now estranged, had been killed as well. And then Jackson, the man who never quite trusted her, had joined the deceased too. There had been so much bloodshed, yet Dorothy could not postulate as to whether or not it had been unnecessary. Her mind was too focused on the tasks at hand--the care of the wounded.

Gideon's condition was being improved, thankfully. Dorothy had taken the scans she needed and made the appropriate adjustments to treatment. Others with injuries were being tended to, and for a moment, Dorothy found herself at peace. The medical resources of the Alliance were impressive, and it did help that she already knew her way around the Alliance organization system for medical bays. She pulled her hair back, fixing the bun she had secured it in. The stress of the situation seemed to be dying down, allowing for tensions and rivalry to flare up again.

Truthfully, Dorothy couldn't help but be slightly surprised about the outcome--with the Alliance ship under Browncoat control. It wasn't something that happened all too often--that the Alliance and the Browncoats set aside differences. The two sides hated each other traditionally. But here they were, with Anisa declared Captain, and an Alliance boy flying the ship.

It was strange, to say the least.

Dorothy did a quick check on all of the patients in the medical bay, with the ones in more serious conditions having their vital signs monitored by machines. For the moment, things seemed calm enough for her to head to the conference room and join the others in the meeting. She pocketed a communicator, and left instructions for someone to alert her with it if she was needed before the meeting ended. With that in order, she left the medical bay, and headed to the conference room, having already slipped back into her old military posture.
I'll get a post up tomorrow. ^^
Sounds great! I have the flu so I may invite one of my friends here at the university to be a guest writer for your guys' next update. Whether or not I can stand to type on the computer has been really touch and go.
And going to fall into a slumber. ^^ Hopefully flu meds didn't make that post too weird lol.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: the Morgue

Cecily sighed slightly. It happened in Justice more than she'd like--just as they got further along on a case, someone with information turned up dead. But at the same time, there'd be an even bigger issue--her roommate's twin sister was presumably dead. She'd have to notify her roommate about Chloe's death, and ask her to come in for an identification of the stiff. For any family member, that'd be hard. But for a twin? Cecily imagined it'd be like staring into a mirror--even if Chloe and Riley weren't identical.

"Yeah, that's her sister I bet," Cecily replied. "...Be easy on Riley when you tell her, okay? She lost a lot of people in Grimm last year."

However, at Roy's request, Cecily nodded and grabbed the computer kept in the morgue. It wasn't anything too special, but given that it was a laptop, it had the benefit of being able to move around. She had a small pipe dream about getting an iPad for the morgue, as to better film and document with, but it wasn't the time. Cecily stepped aside once it was up and running, allowing Roy to do his bit.

Hopefully they'd find more than just another dead-end.

Iris Kingston

Location: Justice Asylum For The Criminally Insane: the Ludwig Building (Outside)

With her office free of patients, Iris put on her beige overcoat, and closed her eyes for a moment. She was the youngest psychiatrist working in the asylum, and some of her colleagues sought to remind her of that. She was too idealistic, they'd explain--she believed too much in her abilities to help people, rather than accepting that some people simply cannot be helped. She opened her eyes and smiled a bit to herself, quietly whispering a reminder as to why she went into psychology in the first place.

Shutting off the light to her office, Iris perked up ever so slightly as an idea came to mind. Work had been a bit rough and interesting--so why not treat herself? A small distraction of shopping in the Diamond District couldn't hurt, and she could then spend her evening looking into Relic. If she couldn't find out more about Jenny Green, then the next best place to start would be the boy who knew enough about her to, theoretically, get himself killed over it.

And if all else failed, she could always spend her evening with some Nutella and Criminal Minds.
@Nallore Thanks man. :) I've been sleeping loads. Optimistic about being able to put a post out tonight, we'll see how long the meds keep me from curling into the fetal position lol
