@FantasyChic Any sort of character is fine. ^^ Hell, you don't even need to end up on the ship at any point in this RP. We've got action that'll happen everywhere.

Starkette

Location: Xavier's Institute - Outskirts of New York
{"It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me."}

Some of the mutants didn't look too happy about S.H.I.E.L.D. being there, while others seemed enthused by the possibility. It was more or less what Starkette expected, as even the Avengers didn't always take too kindly to S.H.I.E.L.D. The reactions tended to be mixed at best, no matter what the situation. It was one of the reasons that Starkette never told her father about her employment. She didn't imagine it would be a conversation that would end well. Of course, her mind went away from that as Cassandra gave her a friendly pat on the shoulder, and Starkette looked back at her S.O., smiling a bit awkwardly.

As Professor X mentioned her name, Starkette gave a bit of a wave to those in the room. It bothered her slightly that they weren't introduced as Agents Starkette and Reed, but it was a small detail. And of course, that only meant that it caught Starkette's attention even more. It was the little details that she fixated on, causing her in the past to have gone on hour long rants about the difference between playing Mario Kart on the Wii Remote and the GameCube Controller, and how it created a dichotomy between players that was ultimately unfair. She also had definite opinions about most movie relaunches (spoiler alert: she hates them).

Her attention returned quickly to the debriefing shortly after Marygold began speaking, as she listened a bit closer once the woman mentioned Nick Fury, the man who was ultimately Starkette's boss. He was the highest up on the food chain at S.H.I.E.L.D. and most likely one of the few reasons that O.M.E.N. hadn't absorbed their organization yet. She frowned a bit, recognizing Sabretooth from the intelligence that Cassandra and her had been prepped on. It annoyed her slightly how much his hair reminded her of Thor's--couldn't he be a little more creative and spice things up? Go for a look that someone else didn't already have?

Though, those ugly teeth were definitely unique...

Once Marygold finished the report and instructed the X-Men to suit up, Starkette turned to Cassandra, rocking back and forth slightly on her heels to see what her S.O. had to say. She couldn't imagine them not going in to assist the X-Men, especially since a power plant was the target. Between the two of them, they could repair any damage caused, and help to prevent massive blackouts. But at the same time, this would be Starkette's first time in the field, her very first combat mission.

"We're going in, right?" Starkette asked, perhaps almost a bit too eagerly. She had seen news reports of Magneto before, and fighting a man who could control metal sounded amazing to her. She couldn't even imagine the extent of powers like that. "It'll be pretty epic, don't you think?"

October Crypt

Interacting With: @Nallore Carolina Reed
Location: Saranac Lake

With Carolina taking the box from her, it freed October to go into a more defensive position. She created a ball of flame in each of her hands, ready to launch them at a moment's notice. Truthfully, she didn't know whether or not the office would survive the fire she had started in the house. She only assumed that he would, and if he didn't, she wouldn't feel guilty about it. The peculiar girl had no pity for the police officer and had no fear of flames.

She ran through the woods after Carolina, dodging branches as best as she could as the woods became thicker. Although October could no longer see the officer, with the house now fully ablaze, the officer did manage to make it out in time. He radioed for back-up, before staring at the column of fire, and swearing as he radioed in for the fire department. The risk of a forest fire seemed too large, and if it did spread, it could easily wipe out the entire town.

"I'm not sure," October admitted with a bit of a smile. "Fascinating, really, isn't it? It's so strange, and I must admit, I haven't the foggiest idea what these inscriptions mean...We could be dealing with anything, really." And rather than being put out by that, the possibility of the unknown enchanted October. She put out the fire in her hands, having practically forgotten she carried it, but a spark seemed to remain in her eyes.

"Oh, not to worry, I'm fine," October reassured her friend, looking Carolina over carefully for a moment. She didn't notice any problems, beyond the girl's mental state. The encounter seemed to have affected her friend, and for a moment, October couldn't help but be curious as to why. Glancing upwards, October saw the storm continued to rage on, with the moon only appearing for bits and flashes. It couldn't have been later than three in the morning, with this entire hunt beginning three hours ago.

"Perhaps we should attempt to open it. It'll be a few hours before Faust expects us back, I imagine," October mused. She considered herself to be fluent in gibberish, able to understand and communicate with words that seemingly had no meaning. Though communication was quite challenging, as very few others in the world claimed to be fluent in gibberish. Truthfully, October knew no one other than herself that was. Communication, then, was quite impossible.

But still, she tried. "Ene eretu gecet. Dimiepo ne toyevoh bi mate usohoyo ri ahevice utepa yeloro: Asecare rere lesa nis datowit mi gacacuy timira tateh. Rasid orola iemagan yabeha orirurep. Mupo mitic na di nocer pipi tuh tir," October said softly, tapping the box as she went.

Nothing happened, of course, and October huffed. "Maybe it wants a blood sacrifice...?" she asked, looking at Carolina, as if to see if the girl thought that was also a logical idea.

Roleplays:
@Lady Amalthea Sorry for the delay on making this guy. Had one almost done, then got a better idea, so here's Fitz!

@BlueSky44 Alright. Good to go. Move her on over then. ^^
@BlueSky44 Only one question - which navy was the father a member of? Prussia had an incredibly small Navy, with just 13 ships, and hardly ever deployed them. However, it is possible that her father joined either Denmark or the Netherland's Navies, both of which were seafaring powers.

Also, needs some hobbies.
@Azazaa I'd recommend Port Royal (see the OOC for info on it).
