"Well..." Guin trailed off, not really sure how to say this. She then decided to just go for it. "Don't take this the wrong way, Dad, but before you were Iron Man...You never really paid attention to me," she said quietly, glancing down at the ground. She supposed it was way she tended to be an attention seeker - to try and make up for feeling ignored until the age of ten. Of course, it wasn't like Tony was a horrible parent back then. He had just been a little more distant than he was currently. "I'm not mad at you or anything...I know your dad treated you like that and there's some cycle or whatever..." she then added. 

	Banner nodded sadly. He thought back to something Lance had said earlier - that he preferred Puny Banner to the Hulk. He couldn't help but wonder if Lance was telling the truth - or if he was just saying that to keep the Hulk from coming out. Of course, it could have very well had the opposite effect and caused an angry, jealous Hulk come out to confront his "son" over his misplaced loyalty. "...I'm sorry for being a horrible father..." Banner muttered, looking away from his son. He had taken away Lance's chance of having a normal life. It couldn't have been easy, having the Hulk for a father. He couldn't help but wonder if Lance would have been better off in Vegas - or really, just away from him.

She wears a locket with it as well, making up a lie about how she got it each time she's asked - but the truth is, she thought it was pretty and she shoplifted it. She loves to wear a bunch of bracelets and on occasion rings, though it's more often than not the former. And no matter the weather, she tries to wear her daisy dukes. She's used to the Louisiana heat - and the chill of Canada or New England won't change that one bit. Sometimes she'll wear make up, but that's usually in an effort to not be mistaken for a teenager, as she looks a bit young for her age.

Personality: Eliette is a person of extremes. On good days, she can be described as a bit manic. She's over the top and excitable, practically bouncing up and down. The teasing never stops and the smile never leaves her face, as her enthusiasm for life just gushes from her. She cares fiercely about others, attempting to distract them from their worries through games and jokes, never quite one to take things seriously. No one could ever quite tame her spirit or tie her down. She's had more than enough with people trying to tell her what's right and what's wrong, having seen the horrible things that happen when like minded people get together in a group and blindly follow. 

On the flip side, Eliette also experiences periods of extreme sadness. When like this, she speaks almost exclusively French and snaps at anyone who attempts to calm her down, shoving them away emotionally and physically. She sometimes attempts to kill herself - in other periods, she just harms herself. It's really luck of the draw. But at any rate, in these moods she believes that she is her family's curse and that she brought all of that death - that she needs to die to atone for it. Or perhaps even more troubling, she believes that no one could ever possibly care for her - a red eyed freak.

How did you discover your powers: Eliette had been walking home from school, humming Dancing Queen. She hadn't been paying attention when she crossed the road, too caught up in the music as she more danced rather than walked across. Eliette didn't notice the car until it had almost collided into her, the driver slamming the breaks but they didn't have enough distance to come to a stop. But as Eliette threw her hands out, the car slowed completely, only tapping into her knee lightly. 

She freaked out, realizing that she was a mutant - the very thing her brothers had told her just about every day was responsible for humanity's suffering. Once she calmed down from the initial shock, she started experimenting by rolling balls down the hallway when her brothers weren't around, seeing if she could stop them. It wasn't until she made them go faster that she realized she was changing their kinetic energy. 

General History: Eliette was the youngest of three, with two older brothers - Henri and Olivier. She grew up in a rather cramped house, since their cousin Céleste lived with them. But Eliette didn't mind it, coming to consider her cousin to be more like a sister. Her older brothers were extremely protective of her, walking her to and from school even though she knew the way herself by heart. And when her father lost his job and money was tight, Olivier and Henri would slip her some of their food, that way Eliette had plenty to eat. 

Tragedy struck when Eliette was ten years old, however. Céleste, then seventeen, had gone missing. There was a lengthy police investigation until it was discovered that her boyfriend, a mutant, had killed her. The cops never recovered Céleste's body and after the funeral, her brothers sat her down for a talk. They explained that the devil had sent mutants to Earth as a mockery of divine design. It didn't sit right with her, but she was little and didn't know much. Her brothers kept on telling her these things as they eventually joined a group called Purifiers, dedicated to wiping out the mutant plague. 

Around the time when Olivier started seeing Sophie, another Purifier he had met, their parents were killed in a car crash. Olivier and Henri were convinced that the driver - a mutant - had done it on purpose, intending to kill innocent people and wreak havoc. Eliette began to feel skeptical about her brothers' hatred of mutants, but due to her grief, she also developed bipolar disorder. It started off with her feeling intense manic highs, running and jumping and just throwing herself at everything enthusiastically. She tried to adopt ten cats. And then they were followed by intense suicidal lows, where she'd close her eyes and imagine that she was going to die and see her parents and cousin again. 

Her powers developed a year later and she tried her best to hide them from her brothers. They were her legal guardians and their small home had turned into a meeting location for the Purifiers. But as much as Eliette tried to be careful, she couldn't control them. One of the Purifiers saw her accidentally slow down a dart someone had tossed, accusing her of being a mutant. Eliette panicked and her powers went haywire. A bag was thrown over her head and the next thing she knew, she was in the middle of nowhere in the bayou, tied to a wooden post. Olivier was preaching about how he was about to cleanse his family of their curse - the devil masquerading as his sweet sister Eliette - and Henri was dispensing gasoline at her feet. 

She managed to barely escape with her life, thanks to Olivier's tendency to monologue and a cross bracelet she wore. It allowed her to break the rope, using a combination of luck and her powers, and then she fled by foot. Eliette didn't stop running until she hit New Orleans, stealing clothes and growing her hair out long. She dropped her last name and picked up a new one, figuring that attempted murder was a clear message: she wasn't a part of the Savary family anymore. 

For the past five years, she's been a runaway swamp rat, stealing in order to survive. She got more and more control over her powers as the years went by, eventually beginning to carry around a bag of marbles, finding that the small projectiles were easy to manipulate and useful for all sorts of petty thievery. She had actually been in the process of pick pocketing Erik Lensherr when he and Charles Xavier approached her. They reminded her of Henri and Olivier before they turned on her, and tired of sleeping on the streets, she decided to take them up on the offer.
