Dear Mr Curly,
I have done little travelling lately because I have been so dreadfully weary. Can it be true as the old Ecclesiastes said; that all things lead to weariness? Surely not. Perhaps the opposite is true: that all nothings lead to weariness. I have a peculiar feeling, Curly, that I am worn out from something I haven't yet done and the more I don't do it, the more exhausted I become. How strange. Could it be something I haven't realised? Perhaps it's something I haven't said? Something I haven't finished! It must be very large and true whatever it is and a lively struggle in the doing but I look forward to it immensely. I know I need it. First, however, I must curl up in my chair and sleep deeply with the duck. Perhaps I'll dream of this thing and wake up refreshed and do it. My fond wishes to you Mr. Curly, and to all Curly Flat.
Yours sleepily,
Vasco Pyjama

P.S. Not having breakfast can make you weary. That's for sure!

@Dawnscroll You'll need someone to locate the codex in the first place, just saying. No laz ads here.

You've already got a contract. You're patron might come nagging if you start negotiating others behind his back.
What, you mean people might have to join forces to stop the oppressive genocide bio-weapon doom-hair brigade?

We're screwed.
Do you mind if I start a scene between Gallus and Peiter while the assault is going on?
"Is that gold?" Janius commented upon glancing past the locked gate. "It's a wonder if it's been laying there for so long. Some parts of this place must be incredibly secure."

The vanguard advanced onwards until forming a plan by the next door. By what Ahnasha described, this would by the spot where the real challenge began.

"I should hope that we don't come across any traps by rushing in," Fendros remarked.

Sabine had been tense and alert the entire time, but even she didn't spot the brassy spider before it shocked both herself and Meesei. Sabine let out a short shriek and jumped away, lifting her legs as she did to get them away from the scuttling automaton. At this point, her trained response had her toss a pair of fire bolts in the spider's direction without putting in the time to aim carefully. By the time she found her senses, she had put up a ward and was charging another fire spell in anticipation of the spider continuing to move.

The others had already spun around to see what was going on. Janius started closing the distance to the spider to smash it if necessary.
Ahem. I eyeballed it so it's not as accurate.

Well, recent events may have changed things up north, but...man, that's beautiful.

Nice! I'm not sure if I should post a response now or wait a little bit for others to write

Nah, do a response. I'm waiting for you and/or BBeast to post before continuing.

Ooh, it feels somewhat odd to actually play by post again.
@Double Capybara I don't personally remember reading about the mirror link being touched since it was last used. I didn't even know it was caught in Toun's ocean crater.
-_-
Reporter: poog, a cosmic incorporeality, claims that everyone is having fun, what are your thoughts on that?
Mammon: Uh, well yeah, I guess everyone is

Hain: *profuse crying*
@Muttonhawk So Toun didn't sense Ull's presence? :o

To be perfectly honest, I remembered only after I posted. I apologise. Then again, with the time dilation, it would make sense if there was some delay. Toun-senpai can notice in his next post or something.
