Arthur Stanford

As he was hoisted out the Window, Arthur briefly considered protesting, but opted not to. The sooner he was away from these monsters, the better, and he honestly didn't believe he had a good chance of being useful in this fight. Landing on the ground outside the shed, he looked above him, waiting for them to join him. Getting separated now wouldn't help them, but he felt anxious standing around and waiting with the Cyclopes around. He leaned against the back of the shed, keeping the path clear for the next person who'd come down.

Once Athanasia grabbed his hand, he looked nervously behind then, before nodding. "Let's go." He said. They had to assume the rest would make it out fine, and get away from the monsters while they could. She brought a good point, and said ,"Maybe they just haven't awakened yet? I don't know..." He trailed off. Hedge had mentioned that their godly parents had to claim them, maybe they wouldn't have anything special about them until they did. "Let's just get away, and worry about that later." He said quietly.

At first, Bart started to smile at what he thought was going to be a compliment from this most ancient of beings, but he had to keep his face from souring at her dissection of his motives for questioning. Sure, he had a bit of pride about himself, and he wanted to impress people, but that didn't make him selfish for asking an important question, did it? Her words left him uncomfortable, and in a kind of introspection that seemed ill placed at the time. While this was surely somebody of great wisdom, he didn't have the time to do the mental gymnastics to properly process what had been dispensed at him.

Walking along to the sitting room, he decided instead to listen along to the discussion of the End of Times, as Siduri put it. Most interesting, he thought, was Faith's question about the impact such a thing would have in the context of multiple timelines. He assumed the Destruere would have something to do with it, which, given his understanding, would have multiple timeline ramifications. However, he decided, given how Siduri last responded to him, he would keep quiet, and trust the Emendators and his fellow Paradoxes to ask the proper questions surrounding this topic. He also looked forward to a potential explanation of what she meant by Faith having some potential ability to locate Eve. He had no idea how something like that would happen, but there were obviously mechanics of this universe he was unfamiliar with.
Melody Winters

Melody squealed with glee as the treant picked her up. She kicked her legs off the ground, and looked down at Poly, finally being able to see above other people's heads. This was a new feeling for her! "Thank you so much! You know, nobody every picks me up, it's so mean!" She said and before Violet grabbed her attention for but a moment, "There are so many things I wanna know! How often do you get mistaken for trees? How old are you? How old do you live to be? Oh did you-" Melody stopped for a brief moment to draw breath, quite literally running herself ragged, "Did you know Headmaster when he was a student?" She ceaselessly barraged the treants with questions.

Melody looked down at Polyanna with a giggle. "I'm sorry Polyanna, but how could you not be excited?" She chirped. It was a brand new school year after all, "Besides, I'm never calm." She did consider the option for new classes though. She'd love to actually learn a thing or two this semester, and there would always be time to run around the grounds. "Thanks for letting us know though! You're as sweet as your candy!" She punned, laughing after. She looked back at the treant, and gestured downwards, "I need to go back down, now please." She requested.

Arthur nodded at Kiera, and started to help spread out the balls. As he walked along the shed, he couldn't help but feel a bit of fear. His arms felt heavy, his heartbeat was quickening, and he could start to feel himself breaking out into a cold sweat. He felt like he could throw up at any moment, but he couldn't afford that right now. Time was a resource more precious than anything right now, and he knew there was a very good chance that something like that could cost everybody their lives. Breathing deep, he focused on the task at hand, knowing that the best way to keep himself calm, was to hyper focus on that.

The thing he was scared most about though, was Athanasia. He considered her a friend, and her putting herself in danger was something he necessarily felt uneasy about. He knew she was small, quick, and had run away from things before. There was no way somebody could pull as many pranks as her and not be an exceptional runner. There were literal monsters though, and they would almost certainly kill her if they caught her. He'd never experienced any kind of stress like this before, and all he could do was look at his friend, smile, and say "Don't get yourself killed, I'm not ready to become president of Hell Raising Committee." He wasn't a very huggy person, and that was good, as he was quite certain they didn't have time for anything like that.

Tapping his fingers against his side, Bartholomew pursed his lips. None of this was any good at all. Eve was stuck in Limbo, potentially about to become a Destruere, her ability to make Paradoxes was hallowing her out, and the only way to solve this problem involved going back to where Faith and he fucked things up. Why couldn't surprises ever be pleasant? Rubbing his temples, he looked at James, surprised at the eloquence he's displayed. He'd never thought him much of a speaker, but color him impressed. He did think he laid it on a little thick though, seeing as the Hat could summon literally whatever refreshments their guests may want. Exhaling, he nodded at Andromeda's question. The only reason he could think of for her sudden appearance would be that things are seriously messed up.

He liked the idea of getting inside, if only to break up this information dump and give them all a chance to process what they've just been told. He rubbed the back of his head, and looked around at the residents of the Plantation. One thing did concern him, maybe it was his misunderstanding of things, but the course of actions sounded dangerous. "I'm sure I'm out of my depth here, but I've read a good deal of science fiction," He said, and cleared his throat, "and wouldn't going back and interfering with Eve's most pivotal events cause some kind of butterfly effect? Interfering with our own timeline and all that jazz?" Doing that sort of thing sounded like it would consequences, and being aware of them before getting into any course of action would probably be a good idea.

Seeing a group starting to from on the edges of the woods of all places, a young Melody Winters couldn't help but wonder what could possibly be going on. It was far too early in the year for something to be happening, wasn't it. A smile stretched across her face, she decided to investigate. as she started her steps forward, a blur rushed past her. Before she could react, it was gone, and she was left spinning, laughing as she went, trying her best to keep her balance. This was what she missed from school: You never knew what was going to happen! Reorienting herself, she looked back towards the group, and continued forward.

As she got closer, her face left in surprise as she saw one of them was hoisted up by a Treant. She deemed to be fine though, regardless of precarious situation. Positively beaming at the situation in front of her, she closed the distance completely, and said, "What's going o-" She started to say, before her eyes fell on Polyanna. Recognizing her wasn't easy, but between the uniform and the face, it was far from impossible.. It was at this moment her brain finally put together that, perhaps, these people might not be supposed to be here. Not one to shy away from adventure though, she leaped at the chance to say hello to the amazing Miss Saccharine.

"Hi Poly! Did you enjoy your summer? Oh god, I almost forgot to introduce myself, I do that sooo much. I really need to get better at that." Melody made a mental note to try to say her name when meeting new people from now on. Before giving the head of security a chance to respond, she turned over to look up at Viola, sucking on a lollipop above her. "How did you get up there? Can I try? Pleeeeaaasseee?" She looked up at the Treant expectantly. It looked fun, and as long as they were doing it, she didn't see a reason not to go for a ride. The forest was not somewhere she ventured frequently, under the impression that it was mostly off limits.

As the Lord started to leave the room, Creme relaxed a tiny bit. It was her nature to be on edge around people of power; perhaps imbued by her need to help and please people. Either way, she now how to decide if she should join them. She hadn't partaken in food in the Breakfast Room, and a drink may help take the edge off of the night. Keeping her wits about her was important, and through it may impair her judgement, it may also help her keep her sanity. She quietly closed the distance between her self and Titian, deciding she'd accompany the Lord, and apparently him to get a drink, assuming the offer was open to all. Given his last words, endearing herself to him certainly sounded like a good idea in any case.

She took some note of Titian's words to herself and presumably Rave, and simply kept her mouth shut and smiled back. The man was crude, and not at all her cup of tea, but that was no excuse to be rude. She didn't particularly like being spoken to in that manner, but it wouldn't be proper for her to express that. She did, however, stop short of completely closing the distance between herself and him. That last comment, combined with his rather boisterous and loud attitude still gave her cause to keep her distance, and prevent interaction where she could. Just because she happened to be nice, didn't mean she had to avail herself to situations she knew would bring her nothing but trouble.

As they rounded off their conversation, Bart just smiled pleasantly at Lib, and said, "Yeah, Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions." It was disconcerting that the setting of the sun in this manor was unheard of, but that fact that Lib seemed to not think it out of the question that Management could of done this informed him of the power that these people held. Whatever they were, they were strong, perhaps even stronger than the Emendators. He didn't like the possibilities that fact enumerated, or the position it put all of them in. At least, he felt, he'd have useful things to report back to The Hat; he'd probably want to hear all of this. That, was, at least, what Bart believed.

As they neared the group, with who he assumed to be Management out in the open, he caught the tail end of their conversation, and didn't like one bit of what he was hearing. It sounded like shit was getting real, and the things that were being said weren't good for them at all. He thought of speaking and getting clarification, but it seemed Faith had taken the opportunity to do that already. He simply nodded, hoping that there was some component they were missing that made what they were saying sound worse than it actually was. He placed himself next to Faith, knowing that, whatever was happening, barraging the group with questions would do the exact opposite of help. He did take a moment to look at Gio though, curious how he'd react to the presence of Faith and himself, after his visit to Golgotha.
