Rohan had been suspiciously eyeing the monstrous beast that Bit-Girl had decided to bring into the Tower when Mal’s voice erupted over the speakers once again. At once the teenager snapped away from his hatred towards the yarn ruining feline and rose from where he had been perched on the sofa. Fortunately he was already suited up, minus the knitted jumper he was wearing over the top, so he was all good on that front. However if he was going out in the field he would need his needles, and after taking a glance at his knitten who was wandering the floor of the living room aimlessly, he realized he would also need some more reinforcements.

Turning on his heel, Rohan rushed back towards his room, pulling his domino out of his pocket as he did so and pulling it onto his face. In seconds he had returned to his quarters, where he scavenged about collecting things he may need. After carefully removing his magnificently carved enchanted knitting needles out of their box, he slid them into his utility belt, before scooping up his satchel. After squeezing in several balls of yarn, as well as another one of his knittens, he gave himself a quick smile into the mirror before darting towards the hangar.

The Knitter was one of the last Titans to arrive at the jet, where he quickly seated himself inside, and taking particular care to pick a window seat. The action wasn’t necessary of course, because as soon as the hero sat down he whipped out his needles and yarn and set to work. His hands moved like lightning as he worked, looping and casting in a tremendous fashion.

He perked up however slightly when the vessel took to the skies, although remained unfazed for the rest of the flight, continuing his work. However as the jet began to descend and Julian began to speak, Rohan finally put down his needles in an act of politeness. He had finished with his creations anyway. Yet another knitten now sat on his lap, although this one more intimidating than his others, sporting jarring teeth and claws assembled using old knitting needles. It was evidently vicious from the way it seemed to somehow snarl and growl.

Rohan nodded intently as he listened to the plan, although began to frown slightly when he failed to hear his name mentioned. Had they forgotten him? Had his lack of presence within the group cause them to miss him in their plans? He mentally laughed away the thought however. Surely they had given him, the great and powerful Knitter, an even greater plan. As such, he decided to ask.

What do I do, boss?” Rohan sprang up eagerly, his feisty knitten falling to the floor as he did so, growling once more.

I meant we started this collab before the IC was started and then got long.

Hi @Natty

Let me snoop in peace :P
<Snipped quote by Natty>

I didn't include Hank as he's gonna be an NPC unless someone steps forward and IIRC @Dedonus doesn't want Hawkeye on this lineup.

Oh ok! Makes sense!

By morning, America Chavez was still contemplating her situation. It had been a long night, with the super powered teen tossing ideas back and forth in her head. In the end, America found that she would have to do it. If not, she may never find whoever it was behind the Mutant Growth Hormone distribution. Sure she could always try and find Reed Richards, Tony Stark, or even Hank Pym, but that would waste time that she simply didn’t have. The easiest and quickest solution would be to find a telepath, and if the guy she was considering was anything like his counterparts from across the multiverse, then this day was probably going to end in a similar manner to how it had the day before. Badly.

After showering she dried her now frizzy hair, before pulling on the same t-shirt and shorts that she had worn the day before. She didn’t like having to keep wearing the same clothes every day, but until she could get back to her apartment or go shopping, she was stuck with what she had. Putting the thought out of her head, she approached and window and gazed out over the city. New York was a big place. In fact this entire world was a big place. How the hell would she even find this telepath? He could be anywhere!

Remember the number which S.H.I.E.L.D had given her for emergencies, America flopped back onto the bed. Surely they wouldn’t mind searching their databases for her? Besides, it would help them keep an eye on her location. Save them having to send a bunch of agents parading after her. After taking a second to think this over one last time, America put on her war face and dialled the number.

★★★★★

Luckily America didn’t have far to travel. According to S.H.I.E.L.D, the guy lived over on Staten Island with his parents. She received some good news in the fact that the kid hadn’t come up on their radar before, other than the fact that he was a mutant. Maybe he was different than his counterparts out there in the multiverse. America decided to hold all judgements however until she met him. As for she knew, he could still be a massive dick.

Originally she had planned to take a taxi, or even a bus, although after stepping out of the hotel and witnessing the traffic, America decided to take to the skies instead. Flying was more fun anyway.

Before long, the hero was descending down upon the streets of Straten Island, her eyes darting from the piece of paper in her hand with the address, to the various street signs below her. Navigating to the place wasn’t too difficult and after a few minutes she found herself stopping next to the white picket fence at the bottom of the house’s lawn. Taking a deep breath, she made her way towards the front door, taking note of all the generic lawn ornaments on her way. People actually owned lawn flamingos?
Rapping her knuckles on the door, she soon found herself face to face with a stern looking middle-aged woman, who instantly gave America the impression of being a typical suburban soccer mom. The teen stood for a few seconds, forcing herself to contain her laughter.

“Well?” The soccer mom, who America now decided was probably called Helen, asked demandingly.

“Is your son home, ma’am?“ America asked politely.

At once, the woman turned and bellowed through the house.

Quentin, there’s a girl here for you!” At once, the woman disappeared was the doorway, only to be replaced seconds later by her son.

To say the least, he wasn’t anything like America expected. She had expected to find some kind of rebellious punk sporting a Mohawk and a leather jacket from Grease, not this. America probably wouldn’t have recognised him on the street if it wasn’t for the signature surly look that was painted across his face. That face changed at once however when he spotted America to a look of pure bewilderment, with his eyes narrowing.

“Who the hell are you and why can’t I read your mind?” He asked, his snarky voice almost as demanding as his mother’s.

America smiled. Looks like her psychic defences were working perfectly. Fantástico.

“Quentin Quire?” She spoke confidently. “My name is America Chavez, and you’re going to help me find some drugs.”
My CURRENT Avengers Lineup is, new heroes can join but the first Arc isn't going to be like the movie where "SUDDENLY WE NEED AVENGERS

FalCap
Loki @Bright_Ops Willing.
SThor - If she comes back to the light side and resolves her Loki issues @Spud
Iron Man - @DrewVonAwesome willing.

Possibly Valkyrie @Angel Vicky though depends how much time she spends with Doom :P

Hulk won't play a part unless in the final fight Loki decides they need the big guns. In temrs of the final fight more people can be drawn into it though may not be officially recognised as Avengers.

Will Dedonus's Hawkeye not play a part or? Also I thought you were going to have Hank/Janet too?
<Snipped quote by Natty>

I can't remember what I had planned for her with Cap...

-sigh-

What? As in for the Avengers lineup? Personally I think it may make more sense if she didn't become a member as I really like the idea of her possibly joining the New Warriors if Drew decides to play Justice and/or Speedball.
Heh, I just noticed that. Where did our young Latina go?

I'm still here! I'll start work on a post for her after I work on a post with Dedonus since that's currently my main priority after not being online for like a week!

I'm so behind so I apologise for that!

I do like the idea of her joining the New Warriors btw though if you end up going down that route!
Sorry I haven't posted (or worked on the collaborative posts @natty). I've been a little busy recently, but I'll try to work on some stuff as soon as I can.

No worries at all!! Honestly I was going to say the exact same thing! This week has been a nightmare for me so apologies!
During all the shenanigans with the illuminate and sports channel in the living area, Rohan Nott found himself sitting against the window in his room, his hands moving quickly in front of him, working their magic. Once again he had been knitting. That probably didn’t come as a surprise to many, considering that his crime fighting alter ego is the Knitter. It was a name that he had wanted the Titans to refer to him as, with the teen wishing to come across as more dark and mysterious like some of the group’s other members, although this plan had disappeared straight away when Rohan accidently let slip his own name while introducing himself. He was always doing things like this.

It wasn’t long before Rohan finished his creation. It was a jumper, Pakistan green in colour, with a large T in the centre. After admiring his work for a few seconds, he turned it to show the school of fish that were swimming past the window outside. Disappointed by their lack of appreciation of such fine work, he gently tossed it to his right, where a pile of similar jumpers was forming. Matching jumpers for the team. How cool was that?!

That was when the alarm sounded, causing Rohan to jump to his feet when he realized what Mal was saying. Running to his wardrobe, he began to pull on the spandex suit he wore as the Knitter. Due to the speed of his actions however, he quickly found himself stuck as he attempted to pull it on, causing him to stumble and fall onto the floor, half dressed. His sudden fall caused one of the many Knittens in his room to yelp in confusion, only to be followed by a chorus of yelps from its multi-coloured “family” around the room. Rohan shook his head in annoyance from his place on the floor, before swearing loudly when Mal spoke once again and informing them that it was only a false alarm.

It was from this position on the floor that Rohan had a look at his waste paper bin. Upon arriving at the Titan East Tower, the teen had coated the bin, as well as the majority of the rest of the furniture in his room with a layer of brightly coloured wool, knitted into a wide range of patterns. Rohan has decided that it had been a great idea, with the teenager deciding to use the bin as a storage location for his balls of yarn. Once again however, Rohan found the bin empty.

“Who keeps emptying you?” Rohan asked aloud, as he rose to his feet.

After putting on his spandex suit properly, Rohan pulled on one the grey jumpers he had recently knitted, before deciding that he had been in his room long enough. He headed for the door, lifting one of his Knittens onto his back as he did the so. The teen made his way through the winding corridors of the tower, before arriving in the living room. He was surprised to find nearly all of the team present in both the connected kitchen and TV room, with Rohan smiling and nodding at any he passed.

The sight of the kitten on the floor caused the Knitten on the back of his neck to let out a soft hiss, something which made Rohan chuckle slightly. He opened his ears to the conversations around him as he perched himself crossed legged next to Atlas on the sofa, his eyes ignoring the football game on the TV, and instead focussing on Aria and the game she clutched in her hand. “If you’re going to put on a game, at least put on something decent mate!”
