I did that a lot as a kid. Set up sets of threes and hope for a random chain reaction; I beat it, and then more so when I got good, but not without dying.

I'm on my way to speedrunning that game. Puyo Puyo games are great, but ridiculous when the gravity gets too high for even the AI.

Now all of Goku's somewhat capable friends are dead. It's just the Super Saiyan and his son now. Thanks to Frieza, maybe Goku will have some more screen time.
