Honestly without a home, without a job, in a... What seems to be a multiverse of unknown... Bearings seem pretty difficult at the moment. Noct and I just wanna help out where we can. It seems you've both pretty much presented something of that sort to us. That being said, you're not wrong, I still need to work on getting my portals to go on target. Part of it is visualization, I can't really tell it where to go if I don't know where to go.

That's not quite true either... What you do will affect everything and everyone around you. Memories fade, yes, but the lingering moments no matter how small live on. You shape the world with every action, even your words will have impacts on people who will either be inspired or dismayed by them. Their actions will be influenced by yours. Monuments, civilizations, all of them are built upon the backs of little things. If my life is finite, I'd rather die knowing that while my being may be forgotten, through my deeds, the world that I leave behind lives on.

But to each their own I believe. We are at an impasse. I do enjoy these talks, we had these in the mages circle a lot. Hmm, what about you miss SideSlash, anything you'd like to add?

Let me put it this way. If you live forever, then you could at one point conceivably do everything you ever wanted to do and then some. Meaning you've done everything. I ask you... Then what? Put yourself in a situation where you've done everything there is to do hundreds of times, seen everything there is to see hundreds of times. Some people may like that, but personally it feels empty. There's a sort of specialness in doing things knowing that you only have one shot at everything.
