Feeling burnt out. Medication isn't working like it should. I'm gonna try to keep writing, but it might take a while.

Actually, the shootout is taking place far away from the camp, however that doesn't mean the gunshots could be heard by one of the gang members. Maybe while the girls are going to the town, one of the guys could break away and go with Elijah to help John and the others out.

Okay, back to my short hiatus now =u=

Oh, and I just want so say y'all's writing is way WAY better than mine frankly. I really need to brush up.

Thank you for that. I'll have Peter break off from the group and help out when i get home from work.
*takes a vanilla cupcake* Thank you, mam.

Just so we are clear, it looks like our group is gonna be coming up on this shootout that's going on, yes? Or are we too far out?

Thank you! This is the most fun I have ever had in a roleplay! I am glad that I am doing so well with skilled roleplayers such as yourselves! such a wonderful job everyone! Cupcakes for everyone! :D

Yay cupcakes!
Good posts. I'll have Pete start shooting back when I get home from work.
Posted. Sorry if it's a little short.

I figured I'd have Pete offer to help anyone with what's going on before doing something on his own.
Pete wiped the sleep from his eyes at the mention of food being ready. His tent was army issue, but that didn't stop him from calling it his canvas mansion. His gear and equipment were all kept in good condition and his guns were always within arms reach from his cot. As he rose, he grabbed his gun belt and put it on, making sure his pistol was holstered but on an empty chamber. With that done, he walked out of his tent, seeing a few of his fellow gang members enjoying breakfast.

"Good morning." Peter said as he got a nearby bowl and spoon. He even managed a sly wink at Annabelle as he got his grub. He had absolutely no clue if she was even into him, but why not try till he knew for sure. "Is there anything going on I may have missed? Sorry for sleeping in late."
Great! I'll get started.

Personal Quote: "Just because we're in a bad situation doesn't mean we can't make a buck off it."

Name: Peter "Pete" Tailor (adopted name, as Dietrich Schneider was hard for people to say.)

Gender: Male

Race: Caucasian

Nationality: German-American

Age: 26

Occupation: Soldier turned small time outlaw.

Faction: McCullen-Rainwater Gang

Family: Pete doesn't remember much about his family other than his name, as they died shortly after crossing the Atlantic to begin their new lives in America. What he does remember was his father, Fredrich, was a wounded veteran of the Prussian army. It was only a by a miracle that Pete survived the sickness that killed his parents and younger sister.

Horse:

Kaiser

Equipment: Remington Rolling Block Rifle, Colt SAA Peacemaker, Sawed Off shotgun (usually kept on Kaiser's saddle) and a tomahawk. He also usually keeps a knife in his boot for emergencies. His uniform is long gone, but kept as many of the standard issue equipment as he felt was necessary.

Skills: Thanks to a minor stint in the Army, Pete learned how to shoot, ride and fight by professionals. One of his unit's Indian scouts, Joseph Running Water, even taught him how to use and throw a tomahawk. He also still remembers enough German to hold a conversation with any native speaker, though most wouldn't know it by his lack of an accent.

Personality: Pete is usually very courteous and polite to his fellow gang members. To him, they represent the family that he always wanted but never found. He is generally quiet around strangers, and is more than happy to let his fellows do most of the talking. When the bullets start flying, however, Pete stays calm and professional, focused on getting the job done as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Likes/Dislikes: Pete enjoys playing Blackjack with his fellow gang members when he's at the camp, with occasional bouts of trying to flirt with Annabelle. The rest of the time, he likes taking Kaiser on long rides to see the sights and maybe hunt some game. If there is one thing that Pete cannot stand, however, it's large bodies of water. He has no clue how to swim and doesn't really want to learn.

Backstory (optional): After the death of his parents, Peter turned to petty crime to survive on the streets of New York. After many years of stealing, getting into fights and just scraping by, Pete enlisted in the American Army and was shipped out to the middle of nowhere. It was a dull posting, with not much to do but drink and harass the locals. Eventually, discipline broke down and many of Pete's fellow soldiers mutinied and turned outlaw. Pete rode with them for a while before linking up with the McCullen-Rainwater gang.
@LostDestinyMight have my character casually flirt with Annabelle, as he is also a sharpshooter. If that's not okay, please let me know.
Well, I'll knock out a character real quick and if I don't get accepted, I'll just delete him.
