By the way, if anyone is interested in talking to the asshat lab assistant, let me know. Because I doubt the asshat lab assistant is going to actively seek anyone out. Being perfectly honest, it would be quite interesting if he happened to be in the next table over from Ros and Klaus. While he probably has the common decency to not interrupt a date by talking about mass murder, there's definitely an opportunity for his magic to be revealed there.

You could do that, or throw him at Aaron. It's his job to examine magic's effect on humans, after all. I assume that his magic is known to the team, and just suspicious conjured objects are explained away?

Oh god, forgive the double post but the absolute casual wrongness in this RP is already getting to me. This is going to be a fantastic setting for what I have planned for my character.

I hope no one minds if I grab Mat for my post? I don't really see another option, haha.

Just a note I discussed with Kierke, I know Josef Mengele didn't start his human experiments until 1943 but briefly working with him is a major point in Ros' view of everything so we decided there was no harm done in bending time and pretending he started his experiments in 1940

Well I, for one, certainly don't mind. I don't know much about the names and dates, but I do know enough (not to mention someone who knows a lot) to perform well in this RP, don't worry.

@my Lalia I have completed my character sheet (excluding the 'opinions' section.) I was wondering if you could give me your insight on how I may make it better? :)

Apologies for the double post, but would you mind if I made a suggestion? If you DO mind, feel free to ignore me.

Firstly, I'd make her older, at least 20, but that's more of an 'ick' factor creeping up on me after reading her background. Not really a flaw, more of a personal preference, haha.
I'd also say maybe try and find a different way that she got into Nixus' hands? Perhaps she was on one of her 'appointments' and was brought to the ball by a noble as arm candy? Seems a tad more plausible to me, that's all.

I really do like her though, I think she'll be an interesting addition, perhaps a charge of one or more of the other characters. The 'baby of the family' so to speak.

Ugh, I hate critiquing, I always feel like I'm being an ass.

That's ok! I think I'm going to go with some sort of shadow-type monster. The parasite was a decent idea but I didn't really know how to make the addiction work with it! Is it ok for the monster to share the same physical appearance as the character?

I don't see where the addiction to the change comes into your idea. It's a cool idea, but the parasite seems like a completely different entity.

Her hair can change colour if you want it that way. But both ideas are fine with me.

I'm just having trouble deciding, that's all. I think I'll go with the latter, though - maybe have her feathers/hair change colour throughout the RP as some sort of symbolism blah blah blah eh?

With that, my character will be up momentarily.

House Arrest: A Witch and Genie's Story

Aaron couldn’t help but chuckle at Leo’s indignation. Their relationship had been one of mutual pestering for years, and it wasn’t changing with maturity. Adrienne seemed to like Leo enough, but remarked that she didn’t even know his name yet.

Aaron straightened immediately, running a hand through his hair and clearing his throat. “Oh, excuse me, how rude of me…” He offered a hand, ever the perfect gentleman. “I’m Aaron. Aaron Maevyn, medical student, to be exact. Pleased to make your acquaintance.” He smiled.

Leo seemed crestfallen when Adrienne stopped petting him, glaring in his direction as if it was his fault. “Oh, you’ll get over it,” he said smugly, under the guise of helpfulness. “Maybe try crawling up her dress next time, eh?” He stifled a laugh. He’d regret this later. He had a feeling he’d return to a torn-up garden or smeared spellbook pages.

Just then, another student came up, warning them that the professor might see Leo any moment. Of course, Aaron wasn’t too concerned, but he figured it was best to be on the safe side. “Of course, thank you.” He nodded, and all too soon the stranger was gone again.

As it turned out, Adrienne was headed to the library. “Oh, well we’d best be off then!” He clapped, and gestured toward the exit, motioning for Adrienne to take the lead. While her back was turned, he looked around hurriedly and plucked a small handful of cotton candy from a container in his bag. Quickly, he stooped to give it to Leo, muttering, “There, happy now? And don’t give me that look.” He did not expect Leo to oblige.

Alright people help me out:

My character's monster form is a Harpy. I'm conflicted between having her feathers be black, and her hair turning black when she transforms, or keeping her normally blonde hair and giving her the feathers of a barn owl. For some context, she trains raptors and carrion birds. Opinions?
