I can imagine many heated discussions during secretive meetings in cafes while Klaus tries to get Aaron to go into hiding with him and Aaron struggles with his sense of duty and loyalty to his friend.

Well here's my issue. I want him to stay, but I just can't find a reason that he would. Maybe he feels that on the inside he can make more of a difference? Or that he has a duty to his patients in case they start showing symptoms? I can't see him having any feelings of duty to his country when he has an idea of what it's doing to people. He took an oath, after all.

In terms of logistics, I'd say he's in the med lab the night of the raid, is irate about the lack of equipment, but would make the best of it. He would consider defecting, but for *insert reason*, would not, though Klaus should definitely approach him about it. Maybe it's out of fear? Maybe that would be a good one, fear of the consequences. He'd never be able to practice again, not in Germany at least, and not for years after if he were to leave. Not to mention he may fear for the well-being of himself and his family. I'm still trying to iron out the details, and if anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate them.

As well, forgive my ignorance, I don't know what the TAP is. Google isn't helping, either.

It would actually be pretty interesting if Aaron was unsure about defecting initially and remained working for the Nazis at Humboldt.

Sounds like what I had in mind. I've got a lot of self-loathing and regret planned for poor Dr. Bachmeier.

Things are fine, the shock came in the form of a weeks-old notification. I'm like the Doctor from Voyager in my old group of friends, nobody ever tells me about important things until at least a week after the fact. Someone could be killed by aliens and I wouldn't know it for months.

I am also that person! I have no idea how people manage to know things when they happen. I've never gotten the hang of it.

Thoughts on Aaron's next moves?

The raid on the lab is going to happen pretty soon, and that's when our characters will have to actually pick a side instead of uneasily straddling the fence.

In the short term, I'm not really sure. I had been hoping someone would walk in on him at some point and wake him, and if not I can do something else with him. By 'soon,' do you mean within the next few posts? I had been under the idea that things would continue as normal for a while, the Reich's demands for the research team getting steadily darker and our characters having to deal with what they're becoming.

That's why I love small groups. That and it's much easier to focus on character and plot than just making sure everyone knows what's going on.

Ok, thanks, I'll change that part of it! Also, I wasn't trying to imply that Linta is bad but mainly that Elia really doesn't like her. After all, if Linta was told by her father to ask the King to have Elia arrested then she would more than likely put all effort into it. Plus, she's from a military background so she wouldn't hold a peace-lover like Elia in overly high regards (probably)!

Oh no, I thought your story was fitting! She was raised to follow orders, after all. Besides, I'll flesh her views out a little more in the next hour or so so her motivations will make more sense ^_^
