AI is awful and I hate it but forums have been slowing down a lot longer than that. I think it's because the forum generation has just grown up and gotten new priorities (jobs, families, etc).

@Obscene Symphony Prepare to have stupid amounts of fun while playing parts that are stupid hard. That's pretty much how pit shows go...nobody writes parts more fun to play than Broadway composers, but part of the reason they're so much fun is they're so challenging.
Also, if the run of the show is a lot of performances, prepare to hate the music with a passion by the end of it. :D
Oh, I am so prepared. It's no professional production, and students in the musical are notorious for thinking that the pit band has to follow them, and not the other way around.
Not to mention that my boyfriend has a solo and 2 speaking roles, which he has to do in an accent. /sigh... not fun XD

Actually yeah band is one of the things that will never fail to bring me joy. (plus i got my trumpet fixed and they cleaned it while they had it and oh my god it's never been so clean it feels like a new instrument and sounds so good)
EDIT @Driving Park I think it is, luckily I'm trumpet 2 but I've never played pit before and it's really odd for me. It's feckin' hard man.
