Yep! You speak to everyone in your own language (or whatever language, if you know others) and the person hearing you automatically understands, regardless of their native language. In Aaron's case, he could sign to someone and they would just *know* what he's saying. Someone could speak to him in Japanese and he would just *know* what they were saying. Meanwhile, some normal human would be looking on wondering how a deaf German and a hearing Japanese are having a conversation. Make sense? No language barrier, even though they are speaking different languages.

Yeah, I'm going to say that they can wander off, but as their job is pretty much to protect and care for their charge, there'd have to be a reason for them to leave for any amount of time.

Regarding how they appear, it was briefly discussed in the last thread, so I'll get it down here.

Basically, the guardian can choose to appear as either their true form or as their butterfly form to other guardians and soul-bound humans. To normal humans, however, they'll always appear as simply a butterfly.

In terms of how they can interact with the world, they're pretty much ghosts that can decide whether they are tangible or not at any given moment. So if they choose to, they can pass through walls, or they can make themselves solid and interact with the real world around them.

I'm not sure if they'd necessarily be stronger around their human, but being close to their human means they can soul-link at any time, which would make them stronger than your average wandering spirit.

Following quote is from the original RP forum, feel free to say it is no longer relevent, but this was approved by Inkd Bull as an explanation: Am I right to think of it as this: The guardian and the human soul link the first time, creating their bond. After that, soul link becomes a battle tactic. The guardian has a form, visible to other guardians and people with guardians and usually is seen with their counterpart, maybe occasionally going somewhere else. The Guardian has to use the human as a 'conductor' for their power in the human world. They are strongest together, and thusly use this bond as a way to protect people and defeat evil. To summarize: They are two distinct entities, soul link is used to fight, they are connected by a bond and feel safer together, spirit transgressions must be dealt with by their human.

Yeah, they'll probably stick around their human because it's kinda their job but they can venture away if they feel like it. I'd wager they're stronger with their human though, what do you think @Cenco?

You don't *have* to use a percentage system. It just helps some people divvy it up. Like, I didn't even use a percentage system. It's just for extra help if you're having trouble.

Exactly what I mean, I think. Like people with guardians can automatically understand other people wit guardians? Maybe only while their guardian is around? And like, not like they hear it in their language, but they inexplicably understand the words?
