Ceres sat down and looked at the dispays of each students power. Ofcourse Sekhemi had a very flashy fight, but turned out to have a very similar figting style as her. Material arts amplified by magic, or in her case a curse.
She watched in awe when Rika was doing his thing, a chill ran down her spine when he pulled out his own.
''half angel half demon'' She remarked as Rika walked back after his display. The boy took his place in her arms again and the next one already went into the room.
''well done'' She commended to Rika as she wrapped her arms around him again. Ceres had really missed the touch of another being, so having Rika near her was a relief.
There where many others who showed their power and even one wich was so horrifying that Ceres had to look away.
Finaly Leval turn came and he showed them how his illusions where made.
''that was amazing'' Ceres said soft when Leval stepped out of the room.
Ceres wanted to wait until someone else had gone in, maybe she could skip this whole thing. She wasn't looking forward to showing everyone her powers. Luckely soem otheres where eager enough to go so she kept herself at the background/
This however didn't escape Arkan as he asked her to step into the room. With a sigh she stood up and walked into the room. With a flash the room changed and turned into the illigal fightingpits of Prunus, her home town.
Ceres entered the pit where her first opponent already waited. A group of mercinary's, made out of orcs and other 'cannot stand the daylight' type of monsters. She stood there in her first position, legs apart and her fists infront of her face.
The first orc trew a heavy punch at her and she dodged it like flowing water, then she'd aimed for his face and punched out one of his teeth. This orc was appearently the leader of the group as the rest immedialtly charged towards her. The group was to big and to quick for Ceres to evade and the first one to reach her impaled her on his sword. Victorious he raised his sword with her body still dangeling onto the it. Ceres just meakly gave a smile and saw that instead of blood ,ashes where dropping out of her body.
''as usual'' She said as she transformed herself into ash compleatly. For a moment she had dissapeared and then reappeared in midair behind the back of one of the orcs. Ceres raised her leg and kicked the orc into the wall.
''you do not bring weapons to a fightng pit'' Ceres said adjusting her leather glove. Again she turned into ashes and took care of the orcs one by one. She felt the need to fight, the adrinalin rushing through her body. Glowing hot lines appeared on her body and her soft amber eye's started to glow like flaming hot cinders. With a sadistic grin on her face Ceres made her way to the final group of orcs. She trew of her gloves revealing burn scarred hands, and charged forwards. She slammed the palm of her hand onto the face of the first orc turning him into ashes by her mere touch. Just as Ceres was about to incinderate the next one her eyes turned back to normal and she slammed herself into the wall. The surroundings of the arena started to fade as another surrounding appeared.
A green field, with thick fog hovering above it. Ceres stood in the middel of it francticly searching for her gloves. When she found them the fog started to get thinner and gravestones revealed themselfs.
A lone woman in black hoverd above the gravestones. Ceres looked at the woman with fear and decided that this was enough and started to search for the enmergeny shutter. She found the button behind one of the gravestones and pressed it, shattering the green misty field and the woman in black. As she walked out she felt like all students where looking at her and judging her. Silent and quick, Ceres made her way towards Rika, Leval and Shela. She sat down without looking at any of them. She looked at her lap and realized she hadn’t put on her gloves jet and quickly put them on, hiding her burn scarred hands from the prying eye’s and curious questions of others.
