Alex held onto her best friend. After the fire, everything that had been going on...

She ignored it.

"Look, Rox, we have a problem. I...I never told you about my brother. He was supposed to be dead. But he's not," she said in a rush. "He's with this group, and they've got a girl who talks in your head and makes you replay horrible things all twisted around. And he got powers. He...I don't know. I don't even know. I can't beat him. His swordplay is on par with mine, and the control he had over his movement.. It's insane. And he teleports. Legit teleporting. And he makes temporary clones or something. It's.... I don't know what's going on anymore. And I think our fight is why her friend died." She finished with a hidden point at Xoxi.

She drew a shaky breath.

"Whoever they are, they're big. They're trouble. I know of four, and one was taking on the Island solo. Solo, Rox. What if there's more? They're bad news. What if they're making that racket? I need to...I have to stop my brother, but I don't know that I'm strong enough."

She looked back out the window, and when she spoke again it was with an odd calm voice. "There's people out there who need help... And those who have the power to help need to help. As heroes, it's our duty to protect not only the innocent, but each other. To fight for love and Justice and understanding. To protect the ones we love, to honor the dead we once walked alongside."

She hung her head. "And here I am, on the verge of a breakdown that I can't even...I can't do these formalities here. I can't follow this simple conversation."

You can make your guesses as to his crime personality, but even the best Investigator could be wrong.

I was honestly going to play him and figure out and build his personality from there. So if you want be to create that first, I can get it up real quick. I really should've gone to bed 2-3 hours ago, since I currently need to be up for work in under 7 and I don't even feel tired.

Or whatever. I'm not very coherent myself.

That's mostly because there's three solid stories gaining right now.

But as I've always said, if anyone decides to back out at any point in time, don't feel obligated to stay. I understand, and you'll always be welcome back to pick up your PC.

However, things will always slow down when I'm busy or at home. Home means shitty signal and normally no updates from me unless I can get signal to go through long enough. Busy, is well, busy. Which I frequently am. This has been a slow week for be, so I've been able to help keep everything moving quickly.

Alice clapped enthusiastically at the agreement.

Alice rolled over the counter, landing on her toes and spinning on the other side. Looking outside and seeing no one in sight, she turned conspiratorially to the others, a finger to her lips.

"I am the Wolf," she said in a whisper, giving a wolfish grin as her eye changed. "The natural difference in my eyes make it very difficult to tell in the mask, and if you spill my secret I may have to kill you! Someone like me... We get hunted by everyone very easily if we're outed. And, yknow, it's nice being a Trump card, eh?"
