After much discussion on specifics.....

Also, this isn't done. Obviously, I think. But it's a good indicator of what I'm working at.

@TheRedWatcher@Knifeman

Alice nodded lightly along as Nat gave his view on the... Test run. He wasn't pulling any punches, which was part of why she was so fond of the pompous bastard. Kazu responded about how Alice had expected, lack of a home and lack of training with a lack of... Well, basic sense. Not that she could really fault the young woman for such, but...

Yeah, there he went. Alice giggled slightly at the rant, raising an eyebrow as he actually dangled Kazu over the ledge. Given a little more time and unsatisfactory responses, he'd end up fully hanging her over the building.

Alice stepped forward, her eye changing, and laid a hand gently on Nat's back.

"Enough." she said quietly. Her nails curled into his exposed skin at the base of his neck, drawing blood ever so slightly.

Just as suddenly she let go, licking the wound playfully as she pulled Kazu back onto the roof properly.

"You have much to learn. There's a martial arts studio across town. The Standing Crane or something. Take some classes, learn the basics. You'll be useless and dead before you turn thirty otherwise" Alice instructed Kazu. "You have potential in there. I like it. Feel free to visit the shop. Without being covered in blood next time, yes?"

She waved the young woman away, irregardless of if Nat had yet to retract his Kagune.

The girl was out of her thoughts now as she crossed her arms while fixing Nat a look.

"Bullshit like that is why the Oda family was eradicated. A little more and any random Dove or bystander would've known there was a Ghoul up here. I expect more from you. Better. I will not let you endanger everything for nothing. Over nothing. Now get suited up, we're leaving. You can put that temper, and body, to better use shortly."

With that Alice reentered the building, grabbing a rather large backpack and adorning her mask before appearing on the roof again.

"Exit through the back, Kazu. Door locks automatically." she said, her voice carrying an edge of excitement and... Was that anger? It was impossible to tell.
@BCTheEntity
But you wouldn't learn anything major about Decoy besides what we already know about Decoy's specialization, and more about Decoy's personality.
@PlatinumSkink
Actually, it wouldn't be tied. Without any changes before my most two recent, it was 5-3 for Shatter. I made it 4-4. Flood made it 5-4 for Shatter. I just made it 6-3 for Shatter. You changing would make it 5-4 again, but still Shatter. :3

Shatter has some really interesting information about him I think you'll like, in particular, given Wisp's involvement with him thus far.
@ProPro
But it's a clear win for Shatter now. :3
@Old Amsterdam B-but you were the one who gave me the courage to dare vote for Shatterpoint! XD

Blame Pro.

And anyways, I'm changing my vote back to Shatter anyways.

DESTROY YOUR COUNTING, PRO, DESTROY IT.
Also, <3
@BCTheEntity
Unfortunately for you, you won't get to find out that information yet. :3
Making a tie... Changing vote to Decoy.

4-4 now :3

Dia offered a small apologetic smile towards... Well, shoot. She couldn't remember their name. That was embarrassing. Maybe she should try a little harder.

At least she'd remember the name sooner or later.

With a slight sigh she leaned into Felix. "Mornings can only be so good when someone never wants to wake up," she said playfully, lightly poking Felix in the side. "An issue that seems fairly common, ah haha..." she trailed off nervously.

Taking initiative, Dia pulled Felix towards a seat in the back. She knew her be uncomfortable in the middle, let alone the front.

As they passed Zeke, she gave him a small ruffle of his hair. "She'll be here soon, Zeke," she said softly, before taking her seat a few rows behind him.

It was evening, the sun just beginning to set on the mountains. The sky a brilliant mixture of blues, reds, orange, and pink. Zephyr sat on the top of her family home, meditating. Her wings flared out behind her, her balance such that the smallest change could topple her from the narrow point of the roof.

In with the flash of a flame, out with the embers... she repeated in her mind. Small flames extended from her mouth with each breath, disappearing as she breathed in.

"Zephyr of the Singing Arrow?" A voice below her called up. Male. Older than her, if she had to guess.

She ignored the voice, returning to her breathing. Her mourning.

"I come with a letter. Utmost importance."

Her jaw clenching, Zephyr opened her eyes by a fraction, looking down upon this strange man. Foreigner. She didn't recognize from where, just not from here.

"If you could just read this, I can get out of your hair."

"Very well," she relented, standing up and feeling the rush as the air whipped around her as she slowly lowered herself to the ground. Taking the sealed letter, which bore an insignia she didn't recognize.

"Mhmm. So you are to escort me to this place where I can obtain the honor my family deserves?"

"Yes. We will need to leave soon."

"Understood. I will return momentarily."

Hours later, Zephyr saw the scorched lands come beneath them in the airship. Her goodbyes had been difficult, but if it meant returning with honor and strength...

There had been no conversation, for she was far from forthcoming at the man's original attempts at small talk.

This machine is like a trap. Confining. Small. Closed... she thought in agitation.

At long last her feet touched ground, free sky above her. She left the man at the gate, secretly pleased that he didn't follow her into the inner sanctum.

Two were already there, and she looked at them with open curiosity as she inspected The garden.

"Greetings upon you two, on this gifted morning. I am Zephyr of the Singing Arrow," she said with a small bow. "I see someone has adorned this garden with symbolism of the Great Sages. The colors, the adornments... It truly is spectacular, is it not?"
