Jason - Pulled Into Action!

Jason had just barely cleared the building when he was forced back into it. Some woman was talking crazy, probably a Community leader of some sort given the craziness of the entire situation. A kid was making copies that weren't copies, and some seemed like they had powers themselves that wasn't making copies? Hell, even some were girls.

A quick look around and Jason noticed Sofia and Chatterbox nearby. His brow furrowed under his mask at that. How had they been pulled back? While the chaos was kicking up, Jason jogged closer and went to lay a hand on Sofia's shoulder before remembering. Yeah, ignoring. Duh.

"You two stay safe. Maybe collect Heartless and Heads and try and skedaddle? I can worry about keeping everything off ya until you escape, then I'll grab the last exit strategy." he said hesitantly after Chatterbox had finished speaking and the tryhard kid had been talking.

Turning back, Jason saw that freaky projection thing crashing through stuff like everything was a hologram. That thing still confused him, he had to admit, and he did not want to deal with it. He watched as it seemed to absorb the floor and a fair number of clones before expelling the concrete out like a bouncing betty might.

Yeah, he didn't want to tango with that dancer.

Then that tryhard threw something, and Jason nearly laughed before a fucking car smashed through the crowd.

Maybe these kids weren't entirely pathetic... They obviously had permission to go lethal, they hadn't displayed such force moments ago, and Jason wasn't about to disagree. Nor was he about to be outclassed by some kids.

Placing his hands on a train engine, Jason channelled his power before straight lifting the thing onto his shoulder. Walking forward, he swung it into the edge of the crowd, sending bodies flying away from his teammates. Blood soaked the floor in front of him, and dripped from the engine. A few more swings, and then he lifted the engine above his head, pulling back, and whoosh! the engine went flying, perpendicular to the path the car had just taken.

"Now that's how you throw something!" he hollered with a laugh.

Lillian climbed to her feet, her tail knocking boxes around. A crescendo of emotions were crashing through her, ones she was all too familiar with. That man..... He cut straight through her already shallow defenses. The woman on the speaker wasn't much better, Lillian decided.

Worthless, ugly, stupid, pathetic, brat. She let her transformation go, her body shaking from the cold of the evening in a place that felt like death. She fell to her knees as the cut she'd gotten proved to be more than her regular form could put weight on.

Why couldn't she have just died that night? Why did she have to get powers instead? It didn't help. She was just as useless and pathetic and small and insignificant and ugly and -

She just wanted to stop being a burden. She wanted released from this prison around her. She didn't have it in her anymore after being torn apart again.

Atticus & Decker

Atticus nodded at the brief reasoning for including the newbie. It wasn't his place to judge, anyways, and an Investigator would be a fool not to accept extra help.

"Fair enough," he said quietly. With a quick pace he began leading them along the border, down alleys and side streets. Ten minutes wasn't long, but for them... It was an eternity and no time at all both together and at once.

Occasionally the shadow of Decker moving along his own route above (and besides and behind and ahead) would appear for a brief moment. A signal that he was there, likely.

Was... That screaming?

Suddenly a loud whoosh could be heard, followed by a feral sounding scream that grated on the nerves and eardrums.

"We've got a Chimera!" Decker hissed through the comm. "I got his leg, he's a block to your North."

Allison watched the Nazi leave the bar with interest. Tentacle loli was... Kinda hot, she had to admit.

With a shake of her head, Allison looked towards Chroma asking her words....
Questions! My, was she glad she wasn't speaking aloud as she lost herself to the sway of hips of the Nazi....

She glanced back at Chroma, nodding mostly to herself.. "Yeah, that sounds interesting enough, honestly. Maybe we can discuss future situations and plans. Or just get to know each other, yeah?" She said quietly, taking hold of Vincent's hand and tugging gently towards to exit. "I don't have a vehicle, but I can follow easily enough. Or ride with you. Whatever."

A slight clicking sound, of metal against stone, could be heard nearby, soon followed by the sound of footsteps. From the shadows of a nearby building a young man appeared from around the corner. In his hand lit up a phone as the odd noise started up again.

"Seto sent me this a few minutes ago. More evidence to help us. We got a hit on the serial killings," Atticus said softly, tossing the severely damaged phone towards Grant. "I thought she was supposed to be sent back to HQ?"

He considered for a few moments before shaking his head. "it doesn't matter. There was another murder an hour ago. We found that phone there, beside a dead Ghoul. She had some healing injuries, looks like the killer got her weak. This breaks the pattern, though. Seto called for investigative backup," Atticus continued, passing two earpieces to the other Investigators. "Decker is staying back as heavy fire support, he'll communicate through those. Lucky we had a spare."

As if on cue, Decker spoke up once the others had their pieces in.

"We've got solid Intel that we can cut the bastard off before the reach anyone else tonight."

Hai! GM call out here. It's been 21 days since the last update, by myself, in that entire situation. The MM are a main team, which does make this a "main encounter", and we've given it a little extra given the fact Pro and I were switching back off on who got to update them.

If y'all could begin progression again, it would be appreciated. Kthnxbai <3
@Sickle-cell
Then we'll just say that Gamble hesitated a bit before pulling some completely ridiculous bullshit attack out of his ass in an attempt at taking Talion out.

Allison was.... Greatly amused at this stage. The crazy Nazi Demon spawn was rather interesting, let alone the thing under the sheet.

Things were getting exciting, people were moving. A body was on the floor.

It felt just like old times. Except...

She felt alive.

Standing up, Allison raised her hand towards Kraken. "One of those two is me, little Nazi," she said quietly. "We'll do well together, if that Japanese wet-dream coming out of your back is any indication."

Turning towards the agents she asked the only thing she cared about at this point:
"Yes, one question. When do we start?"
@PlatinumSkink
I've got literally nothing in me here. I legit don't understand what's going on myself at this point.
Jason

Jason shook his head in disbelief at everything that was happening. Heartless was retreating with the package. Chatterbox and Sofia were making their way out. Headhunter had been caught in the middle of this mess and was working on an escape now...

"I guess that's my cue!" he laughed as he shook his arms. Those rubber bullets sure did sting... If he hadn't been in costume he suspected hee would've been on the ground from them.

"Scenarios, kiddos!"

With one soldier on the ground from the designated shooter, Jason made to weave his way past the freaking Dino and.... Whatever that thing was, into his own escape.

The sting of rubber bullets bouncing harmlessly off of her legs was like small pinches as she swept forward. People were running around, people were leaving, soldier falling...

At least that damned talking was gone with her roaring.

But the bad people were getting away. No. She wouldn't let them.

She snapped at the big guy as he ran between her legs, barely missing him. But unluckily for him, her tail didn't miss. She looked around for the man in confusion. Where was he?

Jason, meanwhile, had held onto the tail instead of going flying, a feat he was honestly surprised at managing. Slowly he managed to move closer to the base of the tail. As the dino turned and moved, he felt his power come back and he began channeling.

Lillian let out a confused growl as her feet lifted off the ground just barely, and a pulling pain extended along her back and tail. In the next instant she felt air whoosh past her and then...

Her whole body ached. She shook her head, sharp pain and heat spreading along her right side. The side she landed on when she was... Thrown? Was she thrown? She... Couldn't understand what just happened, but she did understand the pain.

She lumbered to her feet, roaring in protest. She was back by the door she'd entered from. The back door?

The big man was moving objects like they were paper in his way. Escaping! He was... Remarkably fast, actually. Was he a Mover?

Lillian charged after the bad guys. They'd all left. Leaving?

Halfway towards the backdoor Lillian stumbled, sliding several feet before coming to a stop. Blood was flowing from a gash in her hip area, nothing threatening in her current form but definitely impeding her mobility.
