Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Himeko quietly listened to Allister's suggestion. To investigate but not to involve any of the S-Class heroes? Well, it looks like it's a sound plan. She trusted Allister and Danzo to make the right choices. After all, they've been at this longer than her. Actually, she holds them both in high regard - a rare thing when it comes to her. To gain respect from her is to be an honest and hardworking person. It's one of the reasons why she came to trust Dillinger - because she possessed this attitude.

She looked down as the topic turned to the rumors being spread around HA. The revolt. She wasn't sure why this had happened. Ever since Mrs. Pickles ascended from C-Rank to S-Rank in a snap, someone spread this rumor about people gathering to throw Danzo out of the position of Director and place someone else on the throne. She didn't know how to feel about that. She could not find it in herself to just become angry at them. They must have had a reason after all. "Whether it be connected or not, both are still issues that need to be resolved."

She nodded at Danzo's order. She didn't like the idea of ditching her covert job in City Z but she guessed it was because of the current events. "It will be done sir." And with that, she bowed her head at both him and Allister before turning around and getting out of the meeting room. From there, she traveled towards the interrogation room where Shredded was being held. She stayed behind the one-way mirror, waiting for the team to finish.

City A - Evan's Shop/Home
@chukklehed @Animal

Erika's eyes widened in glee when she saw Grace open up the divider. She gave her a big grin before throwing herself at Grace, giving her a tight hug before letting go only to look at Evan who had also greeted them. Oh, he was also in front of them. She didn't notice him until now. "Heya Grace! Heya Evan! Good to see you both!" While it certainly hasn't been the longest of times since they were separated, she had certainly missed Grace. Evan too, and his bright and colorful costumes that she admired so much. "How have you been doing?" She then let go of Grace and turned to face Evan.

"Mhm~ I just wanted to visit. I was wondering if you had any designs you want modified. I have so much free time after all!" Besides, she'd rather do that before going over to HA to report to the Director. She would certainly become really busy if she would become a hero. Between Hero-work and doing her own shop's work, she might not have that much time left. Though she'd like to figure that out once they get there. "Though I won't mind a business meeting. I'd say it's a first seeing a serious meeting between two nineteen year olds." She continued with a grin.

While the white haired woman talked with the dispatcher, Himeko focused on the old man whose violent coughing died down after a few hard pats on the back. A rather hollow chuckle escaped her lips after the old man finally stopped coughing, his body bent over and his hands on his knees. She removed her hand from his back, "Well now, go scamper along old man. Go bother someone else." She hoped that the old man would have enough common sense to follow her word - as she was a girl with a sword.

However, when the old man continued to spout out vulgar words, her grip tightened and her look turned into a glare. A turmoil of negative emotions was swirling within her heart - her violent nature attempting to climb out and resurface once more. She did her best to put it down. She can't let anger consume her. She could, before, but not now. There was no one to pull her out besides the ones under her, but they were of questionable origins as well. "If you don't shut up right now, old man, I swear I will hunt you down." The tone she used was very threatening and showed that she was most definitely not joking. "And I will show you why they call me the Demon Princess."

It would seem that the old man, despite drunk, understood what that meant. He muttered something incoherent under his breath. When Cori spoke up, addressing not the person on the phone but another one, her head snapped towards the assumed male. As he grew closer, his face grew clearer and a hint of recognition flashed through her eyes. This man had frequented the club before. There was no mistaking who he was. She didn't know his name but she knew that he went from bar to bar, club to club. What was his job again? Did he even have a job?

When she heard an engine roar to life, she only then noticed that the old man had already left her side and was now inside the woman's sports car. Oh. She watched it drive away, fully knowing that it would only end up as a vain attempt should she run after it. She saw the look of dejection in the woman's face as she watched her car drive away. "Oh, shame." She muttered under her breath, knowing that the woman might find it as an insult or something. That must have cost a lot too. She must have been rich. As the familiar red and blue lights entered her vision, she was violently thrown back into her memories.

The feeling of handcuffs wrapping around her wrists, the shoving of the police as she, her friends and her enemies tried to struggle to escape, the amount of time spent inside those juvenile jails, their voices subdued by the harsh eyes of the officers - they were the memories she didn't want to go through in real life again.

As the woman already spoke to the officer about her stolen car, Himeko could only mutter one thing, "Oh fuck..." The officer's suspicious eyes gazed around them. She knew he knew her. Heck, everyone in the police stations must have known her. She was quite a frequent face after all. They just couldn't hold her down long enough to send her to jail. Ha. She raised her gaze to meet the officer's. "Meh. He got into a crash and I pulled him out - end of story." She said with a shrug, assuming a lax posture, showing how used to this kind of situation she was.

However, the woman was immediately cut off by the officer, telling the woman about Himeko's record. However, the officer stopped as he squinted at the woman. Curiously, she looked over to her as well. She had this cocky grin on her face as if she just got her pardon. Though, Himeko didn't really get it. Why did she look so happy? Then, the officer continued calling the woman 'Ms. Woods'.

Eh, Himeko must have heard of her in passing but she can't remember who she was or what her family is all about. Must have been a rich family by the looks of it.

As the officer continued to speak, Ms. Woods stomped her foot down on the pavement and her face red - probably from embarrassment as being called a 'party girl'. Her smile was completely wiped off of her face. Well, that was funny. The officer cut her off once more (Wow, what a disrespectful bastard) and then telling her that he was talking to Himeko. Even if she didn't get the woman's cockiness earlier, she really hated the fact that he kept cutting her off. She just wanted to knock him out and be over with it. But that wasn't really ideal. "Again, I don't know the dude. He crashed in my district so I investigated it. Pulled him out of the wreckage and then she came and had to call you guys." She obviously didn't think that was a good idea. Himeko could have very well called someone to bring them to the hospital. No need for the police to get involved. Well, up until her car got stolen at least. But that was not her fault and she'd rather not be involved in any of it.

She then stretched her arms. "Come on, search me. All I have is this wooden sword and some coins. I haven't caused trouble in over a year and a half, officer, and I don't plan on going to jail. Besides, he got into an accident with that pylon - no way I can cause something like that." She then looked over to Ms. Woods. "Oh, and her car got stolen by this drunk old man."
@Kidd

Yeah, you should make a lead post.

On another note, I suspect that the police would be iffy on believing Hime because of her reputation so that's some extra info. And she's most likely hopping on that ambulance but that's a reaction for another post.

-------

Bah, she might have the urge to hit the police.
@Dub

Yeah, their personalities are so different that it would certainly make for an interesting interaction.

Though, I feel a little afraid for my little thief considering both law enforcement is vengeful.

Monday - Mather Memorial High

Between the walk to the cafeteria and entering it, it was only silent for a short amount of time. He relished the silence as hearing Renard's voice put him in a state of great unease. Hell, even just seeing him makes him uneasy. He guessed that was the goal of that man - to plant seeds of fear in them to get them under control... or he was just playing around with them. Either way, the fact that he didn't like Renard was still the same.

The silence was broken by Sebastian suddenly went into an outrage - shouting insult after insult at the man before exiting the cafeteria. The black haired male looked between the door where Sebastian had exited and his other classmates. His words rang true - Renard will never be Jonas. And while Evander does think he will come to respect this man with a fox coat once he finally shows his true intentions (if those intentions were good at least), but he will not put him on the same place as Jonas. He was a more respectable person who knew how to lead them - not through fear but through mutual respect. Or at least, that's what Evander feels. But was going off like that a good decision?

His head turned towards Winter as she spoke up and then walked away to fetch Sebastian. Hm, he should have figured. As silence reigned over them, Evander thought about following them just to see what happens. However, Renard might disapprove of that action and, in his words, "removed from the class". As horrible as Renard is, he was still a teacher and someone he should follow. He half-leaned, half-sat on one of the tables with his arms holding the edge of the table, waiting for a development. He wasn't really sure what he should be expecting. Would it be bad? Would it be good? Or will nothing happen at all?

That was when Winter came in once more, telling them of what had transpired outside. Elroy was here? That bastard who was the cause of Jonas being thrown in jail and them getting Renard as a substitute? But Rita was also here. For a moment, he felt relieved. She suddenly disappeared from the camping and never came back. But that relief quickly disappeared when Winter continued and told them that she attacked Sebastian.

Evander removed his gloves and placed them inside his pocket. He pushed himself off of the table and crossed his arms, eyes travelling to Renard. "From the fact that Winter sounds frantic and Sebastian hasn't returned, I would assume that Rita is powerful. Sebastian's a speedster, and he went down. That means she's dangerous. What should we do?"

"Don't push your luck old man." Himeko growled, bemused at the continuous pleading. She could let go of a few coins but also giving him food? No way. She was barely scraping by as it is. If it weren't for the club giving her a free room to stay in and the family restaurant occasionally gives her free meals, then she would probably end up like him... or become a petty thug beating people up for money - something she had come to despise considering all the complications it makes with those under her group's protection. "Go beg at the richer parts of the city. It could only go two ways after all - you get what you want or they dump it on you. At least it's better than here."

The worry in her voice was truly genuine - which surprised Himeko a bit. Then again, someone like her just shone the sign of 'I am rich and I come from the nicer parts of the cities' so, while she does look tense, it seems that she feels genuine concern for the both of them. I, myself, is fine. The driver is over there. He's unconscious, but alive." She gestured to the unconscious male on the ground, leaning against the wall of the alley. And the old man wolf whistled, "I swear to all that is high and mighty, I will-" She cut herself off when the man began coughing violently.

The white haired woman called 911 and Himeko couldn't help but sigh. She had quite a record with them from way back when. Ever since she got to 18 where it was legal for her to be placed in jail for how many years, she tried to keep low. And her violent nature began to settle down at that time. But this wasn't good. Hopefully they wouldn't put the blame on her. She walked towards the old man. "Ha, you could call this a punishment already." She said, lightly taunting the old man before smacking his back repeatedly like one would do if someone was coughing - though it might be a tiny bit harder than normal. But that shouldn't make a difference to be honest.

She looked towards the woman with the phone. "Oh yeah, I might as well told you but this drive isn't drunk or high. He probably was sleepy and ended up crashing himself into that." She spent enough time around those kinds of people to know when someone's drunk or high. She didn't see any evidence of it inside the car either.

His stench reached her nose as he came closer. She scrunched her nose - he smelled absolutely disgusting. She's lived in the club for a year now and she's gotten used to the stench of liquor and vomit... but this was on a whole other level. He was also completely feral-looking. Was he homeless? She was pretty sure that he didn't live in her streets in particular.

As he started to fumble with his belt and draw closer to her, she had more than enough of seeing this man and wanted him to just disappear. She raised her sword above her head in preparation of a strike but was stopped when the man stepped away from her. She raised an eyebrow. He was looking straight at her eyes - not at the sword. Realization dawned upon her. Ever since she got her powers, her eyes had become fundamentally different. Or well, at least, there was a small detail that has changed. It wasn't noticeable at first since people usually keep a distance from her so no one pointed it out - but when one of her closer subordinates saw it, she absolutely freaked out.

She lowered her sword but still ready to smack the living hell out of the man should he decide to do something. He took a closer peek before he distanced himself more - now at a respectable distance, but she guessed more out of fear and shock of realizing what she is. He kept mumbling something incoherent - or at least, extremely slurred that she can barely understand it.

She wanted to wrap her mind around what he was saying. It was slurred but she could make out some of them when repeating it over and over in her head. Something about her bringing trouble? Or at least something bringing trouble and then he had to prepare - or was he talking about how she should prepare? Ugh, drunk men and their slurs. But that meant he knew about these powers - more than she knew at least.

But then the man did something absolutely unexpected for her. He extended his arm and opened the palm of his hands... and asked for cash. "You are unbelievable - absolutely infuriating." She sighed and shook her head before taking out some coins form her pocket, enough for a bus fare. "But there is no sense in not letting you have any. But remember this, old man, you owe me. If I see you again, you will tell me what you know." She dropped the coins on his palm but never lowered her guard.

Just as she dropped the coins, an unexpected voice came from further away. She looked beyond the man and towards the crashed car to see another woman approaching it - a sports car not far behind. "Over here!" She yelled. Even if the man doesn't disappear from sight, she guessed it wouldn't matter. Hopefully, though, the woman wasn't like this man.
