Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Oh, I'm still alive. Lurkin' in the discord and the likes. But I'm still alive and finally got out of finals.

I'm gonna wait for another chance to post - see what I can do and the likes.

Rikuo's smile turned into a grin as she seemed to accept his invitation. It was something of a personal achievement - though why exactly he felt that way, he didn't really understand. Perhaps it was because this girl beside him didn't exactly seem like the type of person to joke around. She seemed like the serious type of girl. He knows of a couple of people like her, but he doesn't mind having friends like that. In fact, he was pretty grateful for them since they usually kept him from doing something extremely stupid. Like that one time when he was thinking about getting hit by lightning and see if he can find out how fast he can go. One of his good friends, who was the most sensible out of them, managed to successfully stop him from trying, reasoning that it wasn't exactly the best idea and then told him that he should just stay within the limits of artificial electricity - just to be safe.

He looked over to the stage when Yoshiba mentioned it. Like she said, there still wasn't anyone there to introduce themselves or the school. "There must have been some kind of problem." He replied with a shrug. It was kind of odd that this was happening. Usually, teachers were on time so that it wouldn't reflect badly on them. He began tapping his leg, out of boredom. Like her, he wanted to actually do something aside from sitting down. Even if he was a conditional speedster, he liked to do things quick and fast. It's not like he felt that this was a complete waste of time - but it would be better if he was moving or was able to do something else. Heck, he was already itching to take out a his portable gaming console in his pocket - but it might get confiscated. "I wanna go on the tour... or whatever comes next to be honest." He admitted to his seatmate. He wasn't actually the type of person to sit down through an entire speech without at least once nodding off... or talking to the person in front of him, to the side, or sometimes to the back.
I understand that this is getting ridiculous, but I'm still unable to post. It you can, please hold, though I would understand if you find this distasteful.

I've waited months for another RP, this is nothing really.

Yoshiba Mizuhana huh? Well, since she did give him permission to use whatever honorific he wanted, he figured that simply calling her by her first name would be fine. Besides, Mizuhana was a mouthful compared to her first name. Maybe after a while, he could shorten it further to 'Yoshi'. But that was for another time, when they've established that they are actually friends. Rikuo had learned that calling people with nicknames using their actual names might make them hit you, get embarrassed and not be your friend anymore. It was quite the event when that happened. He had to say sorry so many times before she finally forgave him. Though, it isn't to say it wasn't worth it. She did become him best friend - and often teased her about how she was so sensitive about the name he had given her when they first met. It mostly ended with her punching him in the gut or something. Quite unfortunate really.

Rikuo was snapped out of his thoughts when Yoshiba asked him something. He was caught off guard by the question as he expected for her not to hear him somehow, or just not pay attention to him at all. "Well yeah. This might be a hero school, and being a hero is serious business and all, but what's stopping us from actually having fun?" He replied. He then let his eyes wander as he began thinking of something else to add to his thought. She seemed bemused about the fact that he mentioned having fun. That was weird. Wasn't she around his age? They were teenagers! They lived for fun! He then rubbed the back of his head and continued, "Okay, it's like this. I enjoy learning about certain things, and I also like making new friends, and I like helping people. So I'm looking forward to doing those and have fun while I'm doing it."

May not be the best explanation out there, but it was the best one he could put forward. Rikuo only then noticed that her hair had moved - as if it was looking at him directly. Right, that was her quirk wasn't it? Though now that he was actually fully paying attention to her, it didn't seem like bemusement - but general curiosity? Was having fun really that alien to her? Or was having fun while risking their lives for someone else an alien concept? He wasn't sure which was which - but he had to admit that the latter one seemed like a weird thing to think about. He then cocked his head to the side, showing the fact that he wasn't sure what she was being skeptic of.
@Ambra

Oh boss, just a heads up, I might edit some more history in Aram and fix a few typos that frankly irritates me when I read it. If that's alright with you, of course.

Lima wasn't usually this excited which was surprising considering that this is her that we're talking about. But the mere fact that she was finally done with the extra work that has been piling up, and the fact that she only needed to bring in the materials resulted in her chipper mood. She stretched her arms and felt the satisfying crack. She looked at the now-empty area where the King Taijitu and Ursa Major had once stood - both aiming to take her out. The mission came from a rather old client who was complaining about the two Grimm impeding his progress to somewhere. He was offering up a hefty price and Lima felt that she was the right woman for the job!

Claiming her reward, she marched back to her house and burst open the storage door. A wagon was there with a number of things inside - ranging from reinforced titanium from one mission to simple iron from another. Lima looked at the materials in triumph. While she wouldn't be using it herself, she was pretty sure that Maroon would finally get that debt off her shoulders with this amount of materials being offered up with no exchange. She looked back at her weapon. It was one of those weapons that needed little maintenance aside from the changing of the ammunition pathways or the busted up gears when overused - so it wasn't like she visited Core's Hammer a bunch of times to get it fixed.

It was mostly for trying to improve the weapon itself. While she grew up training in close combat because of it, she would love to have some long ranged capabilities - and she was sure by getting the right materials and figuring out the right mechanisms, she could do it. The problem was how she was going to go about it. So, at one point in Core's Hammer, she decided to experiment with it. Turns out, it wasn't meant to be at that time as it exploded. The weapon itself was fine, but she wrecked a good amount of equipment.

And that was how she earned her debt. And today was the day she was going to pay it back!

Lima activated her semblance - the slime taking form of a rather huge on with arms that quickly grabbed on to the wagon. Lima couldn't afford an automated one, so she decided to just go with this. It worked well anyway. "And to Core's Hammer we go!" She said excitedly as she began marching down the streets. Her walking with a slime has been the norm around here, so no one batted an eye in seeing the lime green monster pulling a wagon behind her.

She saw two people outside the shop - one was injured while the other seemed to have been cauterizing the wound. Seeing as they had it covered, Lima headed inside. She was sure that they would ask for help if need be, but for now she had something else to do. She skipped her way towards Maroon, but he seemed to be busy with someone else. Lima waved at him with a bright grin and then said, "I finally completed my payment. It's at the entrance. Too much to squeeze inside y'know?" She told the blacksmith and gestured to the open doors where her slime monster was visible, along with the supplies.
@tobiax

Pretty bad time since it's Finals and all, but I think I've reconnected with my character enough to write a post with her. Hope you don't mind her bursting into Core's Hammer with her slimes carrying a bunch of supplies as payment from a previous loan.

Lightning Flash had always been the resident nice guy. Even after the discovery that he possessed magic, he was quick to dissuade any assumptions that he might use it against them and continued to work with the Guard. He had to suck it up to them if he wanted to continue working as one. All these juicy findings and his superior's willingness to give him some Electrum every now and then had always been to his advantage, and if he wasn't part of the Guard, he guessed that everyone would be too wary of a regular human with the power of Zeus in his hands.

Provided, he isn't invincible. Even he doesn't rely on magic too much as he knows that it might lead to his demise. Not because of its cost, but because it was too slow ot chant. Flash only used it when he had the element of surprise with him, or if someone else had been distracting the enemy so they couldn't pay attention to him in particular. Though there were few in between, he's managed to make some rather good and loyal friends who would cover for him if need be. Certainly, they wouldn't lay down their life for him - but it was good enough for now. Any help was appreciated, after all.

Currently, Flash wasn't on Guard duty - or at least, his shift wasn't until later. So currently, he was strolling around while reading his book, or rather the book he had acquired from that mysterious Adventurer from years ago. There were still a lot of spells that he hadn't learned, and more magical theories that he had to test. Whoever this Adventurer was, he was surely one hell of a smart guy. Flash had to consult so many books from the library to make heads and tails from the wording used by the Adventurer, and he had to do it while no one was looking! Or at least, no one would be watching his every movement and action. He never really told anyone about the fact that he took some possessions from the Adventurer - though technically, he was allowed to do it since the Adventurer did give it to him.

As he flipped a page, he heard some quick footsteps. His head snapped upwards from the book and then saw a young child bolting for it from the walls separating the settlement from the reformation school. Flash sighed and then placed the book inside his coat's inner pocket. He then ran after the child, vaulting over the obstacles with relative ease. Intercepting the child at just the right moment, he successfully caught the kid without having to suffer from a collision with the kid and potentially knocking the both of them down - not that the kid could actually do it.

The kid struggled as Flash raised his - flinging his arms around in an attempt to hit the white haired guard. "Lemme go!" He exclaimed over and over again. Flash looked at the kid with relative interest. He was scrawny and his clothing were in tatters. Surely, this kid would still be in school. Must have escaped a while back and thought he could strike it out in Bellbrooke without being caught. Unfortunately, not a single one could escape into the town. It was odd though, seeing the kid so... horribly unfed. The reformation school gave out some rather nice food from what he could remember. The kid was probably trying to be a rebel or something.

Flash rolled his eyes. "No way kid, you're going back to school." He said before putting the kid down, but still held onto the kid's shirt with an iron grip so no matter how hard the child struggled, he didn't manage to break free.

"Not back there! Anywhere but there!" There was always that one problematic kid in school. Okay, maybe not one since there were usually a lot of them. Bellbrooke had quite a number of them. Flash never understood why these kids want to escape in the first place. They should be happy that they had a roof above their heads and food served in their table. Besides, they couldn't even live out of these walls without the proper equipment and knowledge of fighting. It was their safest bet, to stay in school until they graduated.

"Sorry kid, but rules are rules." Flash responded with a small shrug. "And it's my job to enforce them." He then began dragging the kid back to the reformation school.

They soon came upon the school and then he gave the kid over to the authorities there - a male pegasus who served as one of the teachers was the one who came up to take the child. "Thank you, officer. We'll make sure he doesn't escape again. Come along now!" The pegasus urged the child to move on. The child looked ruefully back at him.

"Wait." Flash said. The pegasus stopped and then Lightning Flash approached the child. "Tell you what kid. After you're done with reformation school, coem find me. I'll hook you up with some adventurers and teach you the ropes. If you manage to finish it here in Bellbrooke that is. That means you should not get expelled." He told the child and looked at the unicorn who stayed silent. It wouldn't really be a problem. After all, once a child is done with reformation school, they get to do whatever they want.

The kid grinned at Lightning Flash. "You got it!" It would seem that he just wanted motivation to continue his studies. Flash nodded at the kid and they both went to their separate ways. He was about to leave when a man dressed in a coat entered. Flash gave him a salute and he nodded in return. From what he can remember from his times at the reformation school, those kinds of suits usually mean that they were inspectors. Good thing he got that kid back in time, or else Headmaster Blueblood - that utterly fake unicorn he always didn't like - would be in a hell lot of trouble... maybe he shouldn't have done it but oh well.
Since he was practically already doing his Guard work, he figured that he would change into it. He basically just changed his clothing but not into the usual Guard uniform made of real armor, but just regular clothing with padding on it. Why? Well, ever since he became a magician, it was better for him to have more agility and flexibility that was offered by this choice of clothing. Flash was more comfortable with this anyway. He could move freely in it. There was a Guard badge on the coat, so people and the ponies knew that he was part of it. Though the cold bothered most, Flash seemed to relish in it as he walked.

Lightning Flash now re-entered the town of Bellbrooke as a Guard. His green eyes were now watching everything like a hawk. Even if he was doing this because it aligned with his interest as someone who likes to bring harm and destruction, he still needed to do a well-enough job so no one would catch on. He typically smiled and waved at those he knew, though, because he was a relatively friendly person. Besides, the mood was rather festive! The holidays were just around the corner and everyone seemed to be high spirits. Aside from the incident earlier, everyone was all smiles. He could see that the guards at the gates were focused on the outside, and he understood why. With the wind came the sound, the sound of something out there. Waiting to strike. Flash wasn't all that worried though. He'd survived with encounters with those monsters.

Besides, what he would do for some action around here. And he meant real action, like fighting others and whatnot. Flash found himself wandering near the Bellbrooke Reformation School's walls once more, having been assigned there for the meantime.

"Oh, Mr. Flash, if I can have a moment of your time." The pegasus said, returning to the man with hair that rivaled the snow around them. Flash looked back at her and then nodded. "You see, one of our students is quite problematic. Falling Down - maybe you've heard of her?" She asked, tilting her head to the side as she did.

"I have, indeed, heard of her. We've met before, when she tried to escape." He honestly replied. Falling Down was a lot like him in terms of having a thirst for something - for her adventure, for him destruction. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like she could hold down that thirst. It was quite a shame really, since she would need to be dragged back every now and again. Flash always wanted to recommend acting like a good kid until you're finally let go from that accursed school and just gain the freedom you always wanted. Unfortunately, not all people were patient like him.

The pegasus shook her head. "She has escaped again, you see. Last we heard, she was in the clinic but now she's not. She then pressed a hoof to her temple. "Headmaster Blueblood wants her found as the inspector is here. Can you go look for her?"

Lightning Flash did not join the Guard to be ordered around to look for missing kids. There was a flash of annoyance that ran across his eyes, but he smiled at the teacher regardless. "Of course! That is my job after all!" He cheerily replied. The pegasus smiled at him before leaving without any further information. Great, now he'd have to act like a detective. How unfortunate.

However, being a naughty child himself back then, he knew the inner workings of the castle. While normally someone can't escape, Flash had found himself close to actually getting out. It was a sort of failsafe for him if someone were to ever find out of his true intentions. He walked around the wall and towards the back where a drain that could be opened was placed. It wasn't used anymore, so Flash figured that at the right time - Winter - he could probably get out through there. And indeed, footprints were embedded on the snow.

Shaking his head, he began to follow - his feet crunching the snow beneath his boots. It was odd, she seemed to have been heading to the largely unexplored part near Bellbrooke - a forest. He never knew why there weren't any expeditions heading there but he guessed that people were just afraid to find out what was directly outside the castle walls. Fools, every single one of them. However, Falling Down was a fool as well as going around without proper equipment in this condition would only lead to her eventual demise.

And if she was trying to escape, she could have done a better job in actually hiding where she went. Footprints were everywhere, but since Lightning Flash was walking calmly as opposed to her running - he wouldn't really catch up to her soon. He had his hands inside his coat's pockets. His sword was hanging from his waist and his bow and arrows were tied to him as well. He wondered what kind of things were out here. He was starting to find an interest in it himself.

Spying the young girl as she weaved through the trees, he kept silent - his steps becoming lighter so it wouldn't make as much sound. He wanted to see what she had found - what knowledge she stored of this place. It would certainly be useful to him... eventually.

Rikuo was initially surprised when the girl spoke to him. He blinked at her once, but he settled for a friendly smile after the initial shock subsided. Of course, he held nothing against the girl. She was just in a bad mood earlier and it looked like she was willing to talk now. Though seeing as something might have pissed her off, he felt like being careful would be the best course of action. Just because he was usually loud and talkative doesn't mean he was always like that. Without missing a beat after, he continued. "Rikuo Watanamiya, pleasure to meet you." He said, offering a bow of his head towards her - though he didn't break eye contact. He figured that since she responded, it would be fine to introduce himself. "You can just call me Rikuo, if you want." He continued with a small shrug. He wasn't one for formalities anyway.

His eyes then caught Robin and the other two entering. Rikuo gave them a smile and a quick wave. At least they all got here on time yeah? It would be such a shame to be even a few seconds late to the orientation. It would really reflect bad on their grades and the likes. He knew how much it affected his own grades back when he was in primary school when he tended to oversleep and be late. He was always reprimanded by the teacher. It was how he learned to be on time with everything - even to the point of being thirty minutes early. It was just that today, he had come across Robin who was didn't know how to get there. Though, it didn't matter as much as being late - since they were on time.

Only moments after sitting down, he already felt restless. He let out a sigh and then adjusted his sitting position to feel more comfortable. He ended up having one leg over his other one and his hands gripping the leg that was up. "I really hope we get to learn a lot in this school, and have fun." He remarked offhandedly with a grin on his face. There was nothing better than learning something and having fun while learning it. It's one of the reasons why he loved Chemistry - because the experiments were enjoyable and memorable, but it didn't fail at ingraining some information in his head after.
