Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Interacting With; Princess Elaisse @FernStone, Lady Julianna @HushedWhispers, Lady Amaranthea @WolfLover

Jaxton chuckled at Ela's comment. "Less harsh?" He looked back at her and thought back to what she had just said and then shook his head. "I... don't this so. She'll probably remember anything we do in this party." Though, like his sister, he wasn't planning on doing anything that might embarrass the family. He would sooner kill himself than do something reckless in a party in Abhainn. Even in the off chance that no one would remember the events of tonight, he certainly would and probably would never forgive himself for doing something so foolish.

He grinned at his sister who agreed to go with them - unaware that she was partially doing it because of her knowledge that he wouldn't go if she didn't. Before he could comment on that, however, Lady Amaranthea strolled over to them to talk. Seeing her up close, he could remember why he had that silly little childhood crush on her. It certainly wasn't without reason. Anyhow, he smiled at her and waved when she came over - happy that they have a chance to catch up and just... talk after a long time. He didn't think they'd have a chance to, after all these years, but here they were.

Jaxton laced his hands behind his back as he watched the woman embrace his younger sister. Thinking that she would just end there, as they were both females, he took his eyes off them for a second to let it wander. King Maddox still wasn't there. Was the man as punctual as he had heard? Meaning... he wasn't punctual at all. Perhaps arriving late was his kind of style. He just hoped he would appear, by this point. Being so distracted by his thoughts, he was surprised when Lady Amaranthea enveloped him in a hug - visibly tensing at the contact but relaxing after realizing what was happening but he didn't get a chance to return it since it was relatively quick.

"And I remember you from when you were... younger." He teased, the remark of old age was made because of their closeness. But he had to admit, there was little to go on in terms of appearances, as she still looked as young as ever. Honestly, she just looked more mature than before. Jaxton then looked back at the servants who were scurrying around - handing the nobles their drinks and whatnot. "Abhainn's been pretty nice so far. The servants were rather nice, and the guards even more so." He had to admit that much. Or did they just post the friendlier guards at their general position to seem more welcoming? He wasn't sure, but if that was the case, it was working.

Jaxton wasn't even offended by the teased. Instead, he ran a hand through his curly hair. "I know right? Quite proud of how it turned out." His hair wasn't even this predominantly curly when he was a child. It was surprising to see when he grew up, seeing as both of his parents never really had this kind of curls. However, it never really made him insecure. It was what put him aside from the royal family - and it was quite a fun thing to relish in something unique.

"I have personally been quite fine. Thought, between royal lessons and the next meeting, it's been rather tiring." He admitted with a grin on his face. Those were his duties after all, might as well just accept it and joke around with it. Besides, he would just take out a horse, and sometimes Elaisse, and then setting out for a mini-adventure to let off some steam. He always did that when he felt the need to - which was almost every other week. It even came to the point of him going out weekly. Unbeknownst to him, his father did it frequently as well, and so did his mother. He then looked over to his younger sister for her answer - and then the subsequent reflection of question towards Lady Amaranthea.

When Devin mentioned that he should go over and find Katalina, the werewolf who was with the pack but was never really close to them, William wanted to slap himself. Right. At a time like this, he should have looked out for her. Even if she had been a werewolf for a long time now, she hasn't come into terms with it. Hence, these kinds of situations might have confused her or something - or at least be put off by this. He nodded at him and then said, "Yeah, I'll go look for her." He was about to go but then stopped and looked back at Devin. "I hope so too Dev." From the weight of the atmosphere around them, William had been getting the feeling that it might not be 'just nothing'. He shook his head and then headed over to Volber.

"I'm gonna go look for Katalina. Track me down if you need anything alright?" He told the older werewolf and he let out a grunt of agreement. Volber hadn't been all that worried, but he was getting a bit antsy as well. However, he still decided to keep close to the food truck and see what transpires next. He wasn't known for going off without direct orders from the Alpha. He was old, albeit stronger than most, so he didn't really like pushing himself unless it was absolutely needed. Opening the food truck again in these conditions wouldn't be ideal, so he kept to his seat and continued to smoke.

William separated from Volber and then inhaled - this time actually attempting to find someone. Different scents led to different places - and he found Katalina soon after as he managed to segregate the scents. Blaine and Devin were at the opposite direction from Katalina. He was rather glad that they were going to convene for this - as the worry in his stomach was beginning to grow. As he followed Katalina's scent, he caught a tinge of another - it was something familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. It was the scent of a werewolf, multiple even but there were somewhere far off into the distance but was closing in scarily fast.

Then it happened.

He was relatively far from the event, but close enough to hear the screams of pain - even without his heightened senses. Fear gripped his heart as the stench of blood began permeating from the area. More werewolves began to pop up and were now slaughtering anyone who was unfortunate enough to be there. William knew they were werewolves because of the scent - and the glow in their eyes. He faced one of them, growling as it approached. William wondered who they were - as they obviously weren't part of their pack. Someone from the outside.

William gripped a nearby chair and then slammed it against the werewolf as it lunged forward - the impact sending it skidding down the road. And then William was gone. He can't fight in these conditions - not yet at least. That was when he heard Blaine's telegraph to them. So what Devin assigned to him is his real objective huh? Fine by him. He supposed Volber would catch up soon. The guy was a freaking beast. The fact that they couldn't shift was a downside, but he could manage. Spotting Katalina among the crowd, he quickly grabbed hold of her arm. "Kat! There you are! Stick with us, Alpha's orders. We need to stay safe and-" He was cut off by a young boy crying to the side, being cornered by one of the wolves. Something stirred in William as he saw the werewolf ready to pounce.

Before he could react, however, Volber emerged and then slammed the werewolf down onto the ground. Using his abnormal strength as a werewolf, he managed to throw the werewolf to the side. Neither was sure if the werewolf was even remotely injured from that, but it did the trick of buying them time. William pulled Katalina as he approached Volber. "Good, you found the girl. We should probably get to a safer and less chaotic area. For her sake." He said, gesturing towards Katalina who wasn't exactly training with them in terms of fighting.

William nodded but then motioned for them to wait. He knelt down in front of the young boy. "Come with us for a while. We'll protect you and then we'll go find your parents." He said with reassurance in his voice. It was hard to keep up a facade when the screams of people and the stench of blood was beating down upon one's senses, but William was able to do it. The young boy nodded, still wiping his face with the sleeve of his shirt and then clenched his fist on Katalina's shirt.

"Right, let's go. Alpha's orders were to help." Volber said before punching his right hand into his open left palm. "Then we'll go help." They could find a relatively less chaotic place while helping the people out after all. They kept their eyes on the lookout for Devin. It would definitely help to have him around as well. William was worried about Blaine though, as she claimed she would deal with the threat alone. Strong, she might be, but being overpowered still was a possibility. With numbers on the enemy's side, there was a great disadvantage to it. There were few stray werewolves causing more mayhem, but William knew that there was a concentration near the Square - near her.

"Where are the hunters when you need them..." He muttered as they proceeded forward.

Rikuo saw Robin stop to ask another student if they were going to the right place, then another student seemed to encourage them to get a move on. Seeing as all three were already headed inside, Rikuo slid into the Hall. His eyes scanned the crowds, as if trying to look for someone familiar. However, it soon became apparent that he didn't know anyone there. Figures, his classmates from before might have enrolled in UA if they ever wanted to become Pro-Heroes. After all, they had all the freedom in the world to do it. He pushed his glasses up and then began to walk around to find a place to sit. Since he arrived pretty late, there weren't many seats available. He wanted to actually save a seat for Robin and those two others, but it would seem that the free chairs were pretty spread apart. Figuring that he would find a way to talk to them later on, he just randomly picked out a chair.

Sitting next to that chair was a girl with blue hair... which seems to be gripping the sides of the chair she was sitting on. She looked pretty much pissed off. Seriously? This early into the day, it would seem that something already happened. He looked over to the other students but didn't find anyone who looked particularly bad. Rubbing the back of his head, he looked back at her and cheerily said, "Hey there." He then sat down on the chair. Seeing as no one had been claiming the chair earlier, he simply assumed that no one was sitting there. Hopefully, the girl with the moving blue hair didn't mind. The orientation was starting soon too, so he didn't have time to worry about it. Knowing that she seemed pissed off, he held off introducing himself in fear that she might just blow up at him. He greeted her as a sort of formality, but didn't really expect a reply to come out of it.

Now that he found himself a seat, he let himself relax with his hands crossed and leaned back onto the chair. He was just there to listen - it wasn't like anyone would reprimand him because of posture.
@Crosswire

No problem boss. It's no trouble to wait really, considering the amount of time I have (I have very little of it).
@Ambra

Since the CS is going to be permalinked, I assume that I don't have to post it on the Character Tab or am I still supposed to?
@Ambra

Well, his father sees it as a chance for Aram to 'redeem' himself. See, because Aram is part of the family, he has to serve as a mage hunter. Since he had retired despite the fact that he could fully heal and can be returned to his top condition, his family started to see this as a negative thing and constantly wants him to get back to the fight. So, his father gives him this last chance or else, he will be driven out of Remulus and probably kicked ou to the Southernlands.

Tell me if I need to change anything!
@Ambra

Ahhh, I see, I see. But wait, would they allow a mage hunter to retire early because of an injury (that could heal given a rather long time)?
@Ambra

I was planning on making an ex-mage hunter. He was injured in battle, and while he had recovered, he settled in Remulus once more to continue his family business as a chef.

In any case, what do mage hunters have? Like what equipment are they given to combat the fearsome mages?

Up until there was a call for soldiers and the likes.
