Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

@The Fated FallenYou fiend! And I thought you were a Knight of honor!
The 2nd swordsman stood up. He had a well groomed mustache, and wore a red and golden Brigandine over a Gambeson. A well crafted rapier was strapped to his belt. He announced his name as Regeland. "Oui monsieur. T'would be bettere' to save ze noblemon and perhaps gain a few favours in ze city perhaps? I hear zere is an excellent brothel we could peruse once ze competiti-"

The fully armored Knight behind him dropped the steel ball at the end of his mace, letting it crack the stone on the ground to gain attention. His face was still fully covered by his heavy infantryman's Sallet. "We must focus on the Keep. I think even half of the criminals dead would suffice to win the competition. The forest is teeming with bandits and monsters. Our group is large and competent from what I've seen. We can mop up a few Gnoll or Orc bounties on our way back to Starkvale. So says I, Haukford."

"We can't take that chance." Virgil said with his deep voice rising, the old Knight glancing towards the heavily armored soldier.

"Enough! I've heard enough." Kayden said, quieting them all down. He waited until they were all staring at him, or had at least buttoned their lips. "This is the plan..." he said, and waved them all forward to glance at the map. "Tonight, Jex will take me to the Keep and show me the way there. There's a secret passageway he spotted before, and it's supposed to be lightly guarded. I will find that location and keep the knowledge for our trek tomorrow. Hobbnob." The Captain said, glancing the Gnome's way. "I want you, Arassel, Zin, Leonard, Regeland, and Jex to lie in wait here-" he pointed to the map near the bridge where the Lord was to pass supposedly. "All of you are either quick on your feet, or small enough to remain unnoticed. More importantly, most of you are ranged. You'll ambush the attackers once they fully engage with the Knights. Meanwhile, I will lead the rest of us toward the keep and into the secret passageway. I will need everyone to be alert because we know little of the Fort's layout and what these bandits are capable of."

He looked towards the Enchantress. "Cassila, you're right. We cannot destroy all of the bandits in these two moves. Once the guerilla team and the Knights have repelled the highwaymen, they will flee back to their fort bruised and battered and with lesser numbers. We'll keep a man or two alive at the Fort, and if you would, beglamour them into opening the gates and luring the rest of the men inside. We will shut the gates, and finish them off. Perhaps with a trap by Gurnson, or old iron blades. If this is to work, this means we are on a time frame, do you understand?" His voice was solid and hard.

"It will take about two or three hours to make it from the road to the Fort, which means we have roughly 4 or so hours, maybe 5, to slit the throats of the men already stationed within, for us to be ready for the stragglers returning. I don't know about you all, but I plan on being a rich man in less than a weeks time and no fucking criminals or incompetent team members are going to get in the way of that. If anyone has any questions or concerns, now is the time. If not, we'll meet here two hours after dawn."

"We have anymore Ale?" Morek asked.
"No" Kayden said, and the Dwarf looked crestfallen.

Well, if I was an enterprising young rogue, I'd knead said poison into the bread dough left out to rise over night. *shrugs*

If the keep and the party was in a less precarious position, that'd be 11/10. But time and planning might be against us now. Good thinking though

Also, collabs will be re-opened at Dawnstar. I strongly recommend writing with someone you did not before. Like before, do not exceed 5000 words per post.

Someone I haven't written with before? Give me some options man!

Srsly though, I'd enjoy doing that with someone. It might be a bit intimidating though, interacting with an argonian. I mean, the chart says it all
He smiled to the waitress and gave her a 5 dollar bill. He doubted U.S. currency mattered much here but...hey.
'James Hardwick, Private Investigator. And you are...?' "Waiting to be bedazzled apparently." Ben said, then held out his hand and shook the investigator's hand. "Ben Sherman. Nice to meet you."

So, I wasn't paying attention to documents I was deleting when I was in the process of restarting my computer and guess what this idiot right here just threw away?

That sucks ass. Idle is right, it's never the same.

(Btw, good posts guys)
Calanon (& Brogach)

Location:The burnt house, the road
Interacting with: Ntaj, himself, the forest

Calanon lowered his bow when Gretchin told him to, though in truth as soon as Ntaj had shown he was not hostile, Calanon had not been planning to shoot anyone. He had not been very exposed to Half Orcs like the rest of the group, and gave the newcomer a bow and an apology for aiming at him. Brogach got to his hooves slowly, and then clacked out of the burnt house and onto the road. Calanon gripped his reigns and flung himself up upon his friend's back as they went.

The caravan was now in a rough formation like before, but luckily it was a much brighter day this day and it seemed to have lifted their spirits. Or gave them one less thing to complain about. It had always puzzled him. Rainy days had their charm just as sunny days did. Kyra had disappeared ahead, and the Elf wondered if she needed help with scouting at all. He'd maybe mention it to her once she returned, but for now he was content with traveling along with the rest.

On a sudden urge, he let go of Brogach's reigns, and with an acrobatic balance, stood atop the Elk's back as casually (for him at least) as if he was standing upon solid ground. It let him smell the scents of the forest and feel the heat of the sun even more from
the height. Brogach was now striding alongside the wagon, and Calanon's eyes were closed as he stood calmly, letting the flow of nature overtake his senses and calm him even further.
