Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

@SlashInfiniteWell I was thinking more along the lines of the battle that the Lord was planning on commencing the next day, but we could do that too.
*jots down all of the people he thinks would piss him off* Once I finish my history, you lads tell me if you'd like something changed or edited.
Joseph 'Tank' Cooper

Tank was about to let out a wry comment about the NSA keeping tabs on them like everyone else. However, when Gregory produced a bug as proof that the room wasn't safe, Tank shrugged and went about the room himself. He checked every nook and cranny he could, before his eyes fell on something that was very curious. He leaned down next to the window and found the rod that you could turn to open and close the blinds had a small sliver at the end of it, right before the base.

He ran his fingers over it, and deduced that it was detachable entirely. With a quick but silent jerk, he pulled it off and examined the bottom of the attachment. It looked to be a radio transmitter, from his limited knowledge in that area. He let out a sigh, dropped it to the ground and stepped on it casually. Nice try, he thought, and sniffed a chuckle at the expense of whoever was listening.

Suddenly his cellphone rang, cutting through the silence of the room like a knife. He answered it, and when he said aloud it was the Pizza guy downstairs, he imagined that was a relief to all who were listening. "Be right back." he told them, and headed downstairs to grab the Pizza. It was less than two minutes when he returned. It was a large Meat Lovers.
Secret grasped Kayden's arm before they could all split up and go about their business of exterminating the rest of the bandits. He turned on her, his dark hair swaying ever so lightly. "What?" he asked her curtly.
"I don't know." She said in all honesty. "That's the problem."
Kayden narrowed his brow, looking at her incredulously. "You're going to need to be more specific."
"I didn't make it to the otherside of the castle before they caught me. And they seemed to be up to something in there."
"Up to-?"
The Elf's next words were full of warning. "I know black magic when I smell it, Kayden. Just tread lightly." she said, then pushed him forward. The Captain seemed a bit perturbed by her ominous words, but within a moment, her and the other rogue were gone out the door.
"Let's go." Kayden said, leading Morek, Nuva, and Cassilda into the chamber where Cassilda had fought with the men, turning left as the rest went right down the stone halls. They made their way towards the gate, various ruined paintings, some with arrows and knives sticking out of them, lined the walls. Every now and then they would see a torch lit, but it wasn't long until the hallway turned right, leading them toward the gatehouse. Their footfalls were barely audible, but audible still. So they slowed down before they made it to a small and stout wooden door. Kayden placed a finger to his lips to keep them from speaking loudly, and waved his hand down so none would be seen through the small slit at the door that was eye level to the average man. Within, they could hear muttering voices that spoke words that were indecipherable at the moment.

The two Knights that had accompanied Silias were rummaging through the jewelry and gold. The trinkets were clanking and bashing as they moved them aside, looking for even greater treasures. The ruckus they caused wouldn't be too loud in a tavern, or a street out in the open. But down here in the depths, their noises and mutterings pierced through the silence, hitting Silias' ears like a hammer would hit a gong.

They hadn't seemed to have noticed the huge, gaping hole. For such men weren't used to piles and piles of precious items and trinkets that would make them lords almost as wealthy as Silias himself. "Hahaha, Frederick, after this mission we shall live out our days upon the coast of Praelior, I think!" one Knight said. The other would have heartily agreed, if he was still alive to do so. For the next noise that was made was his corpse hitting the pile of treasures, a black shafted arrow in the back of his neck.

It was a lucky shot. That arrow, if it had hit his armor, wouldn't have killed him, and would have perhaps bounced off, for they were clad in iron plate armor. It seems fate this day was as dark as the underground they were in. The remaining Knight gasped, then drew his long sword and hefted his shield. Screeches and scuttles were heard within the impenetrable darkness of the hole, and they were drawing nearer...

I'll have time for a post tomorrow (after I sleep that is).
Also, let's have the next battle happen fairly soon.
@auspiciousPetal

Why thank you! <3 It's an honor coming from someone so nice and with such good tastes!

I just added you on my friends list too lol.
@Lady AmaltheaUnderstood.
Also, you'll get a Tank post after I sleep! (You'll get an Alc post too).
I'll take control of Geradin after your initial post, but I'm glad you included him in yours so we could get the ball rolling. I'll read it after a good night's sleep on my part.

Also, quick announcement for people to know. Just so we can do this in a timely fashion, I'm going to reduce the post time limit to 10 days, and if someone goes past 5, I might move their character along (safely) if everyone else seems to have posted. Worry not though. This'll only count after my next IC post (which hopefully comes soon. If Mad Hatter doesn't respond by tomorrow I might go ahead and post it on Wed.)

This week I work all week, but next week is my vacation, and I have from this saturday to the next sunday off, so pretty much I'll be able to post more frequently for 9 days (other than perhaps a small, 2 day trip to florida that I might not even take) so just letting y'all know. I'm hoping we can get to some gritty action and extravagant adventure by next week!
@The Fated Fallen

"Dinner sounds nice," was all the Sergeant could add without going off into some popinjay behavior like you'd fine in Detlef Sierck melodrama. He could thank a few of the men from his late company for him even knowing of that name. He wasn't often rough around more cultured folk, but the best he could often do was blunt statements. Cerdic had to admit he was more than curious about what this woman wanted, and what she intended to do about it.

Still, he was almost relieved when Commander Gilbrecth called for him to follow him onto the battlements. He gave a salute, resolved once more entering his eyes, making them look as true of steel as his broadsword. "Sir." was all he replied with, and followed the Commander out of the Great Hall and onto the walls.

He had not realized just how late it had gotten when they made it to the courtyard, the two men making their way up the inner stairwell past a murder hole, to stand atop the stout stone of the keep. Lord Egling let out a breath, and stood before the parapets, gazing into the Knight. Men-At-Arms routinely passed them by as they stood together. "I'll be blunt." Egling said. "It seems much too convenient that someone like you would be unharmed fighting a horde of beastman. It seems unlikely for any two people to survive out there alone from the Beastman activity of late. I want you to tell me exactly what you had been doing out there, and I want to know now. Or you'll burn tomorrow evening as a traitor."

"I am Reiner Cerdic Becker. Sergeant-At-Arms for a contingent of troops led by Captain Hollerman, set out from Morlenfurt. We were near 100 strong, and were guarding a caravan of wagons that contained various supplies bound for Nuln. Not 2 days ago we set foot on solid ground after traveling the River Tuefel, and not an hour before you saved us, my men were slaughtered by Beastman. But not only that. They were being lead by Champions of Chaos."

The sharp, barking laugh showed just what Gilbrecht thought of his story. "You expect me to believe that?" the Commander asked incredulously, then bit back his words and considered something. Cerdic continued. "This far south, I know it is hard to believe. But I saw it with my own eyes, Commander. My men were slaughtered, and I barely managed to make it out alive with Fraueline Hilde..."

With eyes that betrayed the vast intelligence that lurked beneath its monstrous head, Reigynferlgar the Crimson gazed upon the ground far below her, letting out a powerful beat of its wings. Steam and the decaying stench of rotting corpses cascaded out of its great maw as it searched the Reikwald for the ones responsible for her inner torment.

Below the trees covered a vast land, and in the distance she could see various lights dotting the landscape. Within the clouds, destinations that would take days to journey toward could be seen by the naked eye in an instant, with but a turn of the head. She knew she was within the heart of the Empire, but her reserve had fled long ago. Her children had been stolen, and she would rip apart all of Reikland to find who was responsible, and swallow them whole.
