  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Caught my interest, Herr Flagg.
@BCTheEntity@Fetzen Now I did promise you two I would message you if there was another game I made to be had. Check it.
Cyrdic skidded to a stop, his breathing labored and his chest heaving, but there was strength still in his body. He almost didn't want to slow down, but he knew Camilla needed a rest. That, and it would be smart to conserve his own strength too. He couldn't go forever. "That might work on Beastmen, but the Chaos warriors are different," he said. "But they'll be likely to send Beastmen after us first, so it's something to slow them down at least."

Cyrdic waded into the river, keeping his shield and sword above his head. "Careful with your belongings." His part of the treasure was strapped to his waist, and it was just above the current thankfully. He felt the cold water inching into his trousers, and felt somewhat refreshed. Behind them, they heard a guttural braying in the distance. The Drakwald was much like a cavern, so close were the trees. Something could be miles away, or a hundred paces, and it would echo near the same.

Once he made it to the far side of the river, he placed his pack and weapons down, before wading back in to submerge himself in his entirety, just to be sure. He surfaced, his hair matted to his face. The soldier shook like a dog, water splashing everywhere before he climbed out once more and repacked his gear. "I don't know the Drakwald like I do the Ostland forests," he said, strapping on his sword right next to Camilla. "But I'm certain the roads will be watched. We need to stick together and-"

The next noise they heard was not the braying of a Beastman. It was much, much bigger. In fact, its majesty and ferocity shook the very ground, causing Cyrdic to steady his feet and catch Camilla if she stumbled. The noise nearly overwhelmed his senses, and the very trees swayed from the beast's approach. Cyrdic had seen a lot in his relatively young life. Things he wished no man ever saw. But nothing could prepare him for what had made that roar.

What sunlight that penetrated the mist was suddenly erased as a shadow engulfed the entire river. A wind gushed into the opening of the trees, strong enough to lift a small person, and the crimson, reptilian monstrosity passed overhead. Cyrdic couldn't quite believe his eyes, for he never thought he would live to see a Dragon in flight.

"By Ulric and Sigmar," he cursed, gaping and holding Camilla in his arms protectively.

Intrigued, are there more details to follow?

There will be in the OOC, my good sir.

Also, glad to see so much interest!
As they sped out of sight, Camilla and Cyrdic would see the Chosen of Chaos slaying the Warrior Priest. He did not even bother checking the corpse. Instead he turned, and gazed at the road they now sped upon into the wilderness. A voice echoed across the trees so powerfully, it was as if he was just beside them.

"You have what I want, Tilean bitch."

Cyrdic clenched his teeth from within his mouth, and snarled like the wolf on the hilt of his blade. His blade roared in his mind, and not for the first time did he predict the blade was made specifically to fight against Chaos beasts. What's more, Cyrdic knew that if they were coming after Camilla, he'd stand right between them. Camilla wa-

A few miles had passed down the road, and the mules had run over a gnarled branch that had jutted out of the ground like an unwanted curse. It sent Cyrdic and Camilla out of the wagon, the two unable to gain purchase on the hardwood of the speeding construct. Cyrdic hit the ground roughly, skidding, only to feel something land on him from above.

He opened his eyes, groaning as Camilla lay atop him. Dust and dirt billowed, now mingling with the mist and fighting for dominance over the air. Cyrdic breathed heavily, and swallowed. His throat was dry from all of the shouting earlier. "Are you ok?" he breathed. The honking call of the mules was now a distant memory.

I'm thinking my guy would be a heavily prepared young guy, a huge nerd with experience of the supernatural from a childhood incident. He's seen as someone who could have been successful or married by now, but he spends all of his time on his research and on training for his hunts and investigations. He decides to join the Sunday Group to give his expertise. He'd serve as an 'expert' first, and 'officer in the field' role, though badass lady cops are first when it comes to that ;)
I flipped a coin on who would go over the Bridge, Gideon or Bardeck. Bardeck won. I look forward to posting for both :)
Bardeck wasn't content with sitting here while they waited to open the door, though he also did not know if he should follow. The barbaric warrior peered down the stairway, and though the heat was intense and the lava flow was audible, there still seemed to be no more pursuit. He breathed through his nose, and closed his eyes. He needed to make a decision and stick with it. But what would it be? "Divines balls, fine," he muttered.

Bardeck turned and whistled. Gideon the hound loped over to him, and panted happily. If Naenya was watching, she'd see Bardeck whispering to his dog while the hound made small 'reor' noises in reply, pawing at him. Bardeck pointed to Naenya, then winked to Gideon and pointed at her again. Gideon barked in agreement, and then bounded toward Naenya to stand watch over her.

"I'm going over the bridge," Bardeck announced, shield and axe ready in his hands. By the look in his eyes, there was no talking him out of it. He spoke with the surety of if he was announcing water is wet. "But Gideon stays here to provide a guard. I told him to follow the pack leader," he said, winking at Naenya. "No Daedric Prince in Oblivion could keep me from coming back for my dog. We'll stay alive," Bardeck said, and then stepped out onto the blasted bridge.

Heat suddenly enveloped him, ashes flying into his face as he stuck his shield and axe out to balance himself. He wasn't particularly agile or balanced, at least compared to someone like Brona. But he walked with a confidence that kept himself from being too unnerved as he walked, which in turn, helped his balance. He nearly tumbled onto Brona though when he made it off the bridge. He caught himself, his broad chest almost brushing her back.

"Sorry," he said to her. No warrior would ever be embarrassed. The flush on his cheeks was simply the heat. He nodded to the three of them, saluting with his axe. "Let's kick ass."
"Camilla! Herr Olden!" Cyrdic cried, waving them toward the line he had formed. His voice strong but hoarse from the smoke of the surrounding weapons. Unnatural abominations were impaled upon the halberds that were laid down to halt their mass advance. Those that slipped by like snakes were engaged by the swordsmen. The melee was thick with screams and blood. Cyrdic hacked down a beastman, kicking its limp body to the ground. An axe spun out of the fray and embedded itself into the head of a rifleman, the impact and area of the hit caused the newly made corpse to spasm and send its weapon flying upwards.

It was at that moment Cyrdic saw the tendril of the Slaaneshi Chaos Warrior slither with unnatural speed, looping around Camilla's waist and yanking her backwards with the force of a cannon shot. Cyrdic's heart stopped, but in that split instant, he moved on sheer instinct.

Cyrdic struck his blade into the ground and caught the falling gunpowder weapon. He readied it and placed the butt of the weapon on its shoulder and fired into the helmet of the Chaos Warrior. It didn't kill it, as impossible as it sounded. But the shot through its eye weakened its hold on Camilla. Its grip loosened, and Camilla wiggled out of its grasp and met Cyrdic. He had run after her, and caught her in an embrace.

"We have to get the hell out of here," Cyrdic breathed in her ear. Behind him, the baying of the mules was desperate and loud. They were supremely trained to not have run off yet. He checked to see if she was wounded, and in his peripheral vision, he saw something huge looming, growing closer as it closed distance. "Get down!" He roared, pushing Camilla to the ground as he hit the dirt as well. A boulder slammed into the mud and earth just passed them, bouncing into the line of men and breaking its formation.

The beasts and Chaos champions howled, and in the distance Cyrdic heard the Warrior Priest of Sigmar challenge the leader of the Warband in single combat. A great, ever shifting eye was emblazoned on the Chosen's runic chest piece, and within his helmet glowed a purple fire of forever changing hues.

"Get to the wagon," Cyrdic ordered her, and behind them they heard a pitiful cry. Cyrdic blinked. He recognized the voice, and the Ostland soldier turned to see Herr Olden with his leg's crushed, having been hit by the bouncing rock. He blinked weakly, calling for Camilla to come to him.

When they came close, he would feebly reach into his coat pocket to produce a vial of what looked to be a rich silver substance. "M-My dear...See this makes it to...to Altdorf, or Nuln. T-he Countess shall receive it..."
