Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

How long have you been watching him? This is important since like I said, he has recently softened and not been as on point as he used to. If it is only recently I would not blame you but as someone who has been watching him since his The Daily Show days I would say this is not a particularly astute observation.

I've been a fan of Colbert since 2004 or 5. But I am counting him from when he started late night to now. He makes unfounded claims of Trump being found with a smoking gun for instance and saying he'll be in jail by friday, when we know that won't happen. Stuff like that.
<Snipped quote by POOHEAD189>

'member that time Jimmy Kimmel got in trouble for not hating trump enough?

Oddly enough, if someone is nice to him he admits a few things more from seeing that interview. Also that was before his presidency, so he didn't quite have the reputation he does now. I do hate mob mentalities, though. Jilly Fallon was just trying to have a good show.

I’d argue that the majority of late night comedians are pretty abysmal at politics, but then again it’s pretty easy to poke holes in Trump’s decisions to the point that Seth Meyers is doing it. The only one out of the network hosts that is remotely worth watching is Colbert, but his satirical skills (even from his liberal point-of-view) have softened since he made the move from Comedy Central to CBS. Beyond network television the only real options you have that are interesting as well as entertaining would be Oliver and Noah. So that’s three comedians out of a group of much more. Fallon and Meyers should go back to acting like teenagers and doing rap skits with Justin Timberlake and so forth because their political views have about as much depth and worth as their comedic talents.

I'll need to go to bed in a second so I'll need to reply later, but from my experience Colbert is terrible (even if I love him as a comedian) and Seth Myers is much less wild about his accusations, and much more informative. Now, most of his info is attacking Trump, granted. But that doesn't make his info untrue. Just it's only looking through one lens rather than both.

If you want nonpartisan commentary, find a commentator or pundit who is nonpartisan. There are plenty to find. You will not find them among liberal comedians and to think otherwise is a naïve hope. Do not get your “satire” from late night pulp television.

Well it's only recently, like the past year, that I really even looked. A few of the shows actually did good for awhile though.

You were expecting a pulp talk show with the purpose to entertain that is hosted by left-leaning comedians to be “non-biased”? I’m sorry, but if you thought that any of these shows (which are affectedly comedian soapboxes) were designed to be objective, nonpartisan, or fair then you went into with a false expectation founded on naïve thought.

Are you serious?

There is no obligation by entertainers to be objective pundits. None. Zero.

One can only hope, at least.
Will be posting sat or sunday. I am going on a trip early tomorrow, but I'll have some time on a laptop, so W00T!
You're a psuedo-intellectual libertarian if you play the game Fallout?
Well I should have specified. By being critical I meant I'd call out a leftist for being wrong as much as someone who was right wing. I don't think all right wing people are Nazis, or all republicans are Nazis. Hell, Trump doesn't even really fit the definition of a republican, yet he ran on the ballot as one. I dislike Trump a lot, but as I said I got nothing against conservatives/republicans. I actually am a huge fan of George Bush Jr.

A lot of Late Night shows are borderline left propaganda at this point, for instance. I liked them at first because they were anti-Trump, and gave us info Trump wouldn't want talked about. But slowly they're trying to work up a political base instead of being unbiased. I was telling my friend the other night, that you can't call what they do 'satire' anymore. Because satire is giving info and making it funny, while throwing spitballs at people who deserve it. Instead they're pushing an agenda now, and rousing up a crowd. Against Nazi's, I am completely fine with. But against right wing people for thinking different, I am not.

Lmao alright man

But the people in Spain really are to blame for letting a load of human trash in

Most people in this thread are right wing, so I guess it's easy to see me as a leftist. Didn't you say we couldn't talk the other day when I said this

Okay then the only two left groups are SJWs and Communists.

Mostly, yes. Though switch communist with socialist.
Cyrdic looked positively feral as his eyes locked with the woman, hackles risen and lips curled into a snarl. He felt a slight warmth from his sword, though not nearly as loud as it was with fighting Chaos spawn. Still, this woman has a quality about her that he found extremely unnerving, despite the obvious promise of pleasure she elicited with her every movement.

For her part, the woman seemed a tad impressed at Cyrdic, and she raised an eyebrow. Ricardo took his cloak from behind him, and billowed it above the flame before snuffing it out. "Figlio di puttana! Someone would have heard that." He hissed, swiping the cloth back and rolling it up.

"Well we better get a move on, shall we?" She said, running a finger up Ricardo's neck, the man groaning at her touch. She chuckled, and sauntered over to the window with a sway of her hips. It was a heavy thing, but she opened the sill as if it weighed nothing at all. She held it open for the others, and gestured they come through.

"No," Cyrdic said, the word coming from somewhere deep within himself. The woman tilted her head, and then shook it. "Oh, worry not my Imperial. If I sought to harm you, I would have done it as you traversed the rooftops before you entered this place. Now come, we have a comfortable place for you all to speak with me..."

Despite his wariness and better judgement, he gave in to her suggestive voice, seeing the logic in her words. The Ostlander relaxed, and sheathed his sword as Camilla and Ricardo exited the window atop a thatched roof, the enchanting woman promising they would not need to go far to relax once again.

So fixated on the effect she had on them, it seemed to take merely a moment before they entered into her extravagant lair...
