I never notice someone's post count until I see (ignore post count) and then I totally look at it, out of habit and curiosity.

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)

  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Actually most religions do not revolve around the idea of doing good deeds and working to get to Salvation. Christianity, for example, the only thing that you need to do is accept Jesus Christ in your heart. That's not a whole lot of work.

That is incorrect.

In fact it is incorrect to say that most Americans are Christian, simply because they claim it. Donald Trump for instance is not really a Christian, by the way he acts. That'd be like calling Stalin a Capitalist simply because he claims it.

Jesus himself says that the road to paradise is narrow and most people won't make it, because of such a lax view of the faith. To be honest, people who claim to be faithful yet don't follow the doctrine are worse off than athiests, for they are pharisees and hypocrites, something Jesus disliked over all others. Jesus himself said that to live the life of a Christian will be very difficult.

To put it simply, if you're a Christian, you need to follow the teachings of Jesus in order to be one. Yes do need to accept Jesus into your heart. However depending on your definition, that is either not all you need to do, or that's an extremely difficult thing to accept. You need to try your best to not judge others, for instance. Do not covet. You need to be willing to sell all other aspects of your life for the faith if need be. You are to value your faith and God above all of your possessions and relationships on earth, and you are to love your neighbor as yourself. Of course, since we are human, all of that is pretty much impossible. But to attempt to live in the faith, as much as you can, is something God wishes.

To say what you said, that it is an easy thing, is honestly insulting to people who truly attempt to live a life like that (me), or someone who made a career out of his faith like my father, who regularly translates Greek and Hebrew texts and spent 12 years of school in Theology.

Christianity is a faith as worthy of respect as Islam or Judaism. Just because a bunch of assholes use the names of God and Jesus while they do shit doesn't make it less so.
I'll take a wild guess and say...norse paganism.
Rhaak ate the bit of beef greedily, having nearly put a strain on his body during his last bout. His master, curse his name, often liked to dangle succulent food in front of him, promising Rhaak would get to eat such food once he was victorious. And then of course, during his match, he would see the same delectables being devoured before his eyes by Mal Jashe. It had gotten to the point that the young fighter nearly did not care anymore if he would be strung up in the streets with his eyes and tongue cut out for rebellion, if he could only kill that sweaty manuke khara.

He always felt like that day would be tomorrow, and then tomorrow it would be the day after. Sometimes, Rhaak believed he had forgotten his old life as a bandit, being reforged into the ideal pit fighter for the amusement of others. How could Hayashim let him continue as this? What sin had he committed?

Once his meal was finished, he threw away the stripped bone to clatter along the coarse stonework. The calls and curses of the fellow slaves was an ever present companion down here, and it took him a moment to realize the hush that had fallen within the catacombs. Beside him, one of the older slaves in the cell over began to wail about the doom of the world, piercing the silence with cries that unnerved even the muscled young fighter.

Suddenly, his master's simpering voice was heard down the hall, clearly attempting to impress a patron. The handsome and strong young slave lifted himself off of his chair, the only thing in the cell not covered in grime, to see one of the strangest sights. It was a woman, an incredibly beautiful one at that. Though something of her manner unnerved him, and when her eyes fell upon him he felt as if she could view into his very soul.

"This is the one," she said. Rhaak looked between her and Mal Jashe, expecting his Master to refuse her as he had the others when they had desired his company. But he instead only gave a weak denial, before his resolve shattered and Rhaak was called to the arena with two others. He was about to speak, his curiosity almost overriding his good sense. But he was only to speak when spoken to, and he was chained and dragged out into the pit with two other slaves. The first was a eunuch, bald headed and with a similar physique to Rhaak, though he was even slimmer and taller. The next was a great hairy beast of a man, with a beard that reached his chest. His hands had six fingers.

"Yes yes, would you like them to fight my mistress?" Mal Jashe asked, rubbing his hands together, his eyes roaming her curvaceous anatomy when he believed she was not looking.

Probably 7 or 8 times.
His heavy boots sunk into the mud, cracking what dredge that had merely begun to dry. Men shouted and worked all about him as the leftenant made his way through the camp. A few of the lads hauling a great log before him giving their apologies to him as one of their commanders. He merely nodded his acceptance and let them continue with their labor until the passage was free. It took him less than another minute to make it to Sister Margaret's tent.

Branimir knew he was one of the few men Margeret didn't mind intruding, for unless a soldier was sick or she had saved his life and gained his respect, the comely woman often received a myriad of leers and unwelcome looks by some of the less honorable men. Branimir might be a disgraced Knight, but a Knight he was. He stopped at the flap of her large medical pavilion, announcing his arrival. "Sister Margeret?" he called, his strong voice would be easily recognizable.

He heard a small curse, and blinked, striding in to see the woman failing at sewing, a small bead of blood on her thumb. He gritted his teeth in embarrassment, not knowing if him calling out was what distracted her. "Um, Sister Margeret." Branimir began, clearing his throat and squaring his broad shoulders. "Forgive me for intruding, but...there is the matter of our Captain's body and the rights he'll need before the burial."

Apparently there is some contention over this man's work.
Neil was about to open his mouth in his shrug before Lonney cut him off. "Unknown Capt'm. Galactic map disfunctional, bu' tha radars werkin' like a charm. If tha sublight engines can get started, there's a system 0.003 lightyears away."

"And there's no way we can tell what system that is?"

"Nope."

"Uh, god." Neil said, before he inhaled a large amount of the dust that had been floating around here and he began to cough, choking somewhat until he gained control of himself, patting his chest. "Well at least we have plenty of supplies." He croaked, knowing he at least had a lot of water to drink from. He went off to go do that.

"Roight... about that sir." The voice halted Neil in his tracks. There was an eerie silence as Neil turned around.

"What?" Neil asked, his throat and mouth uncomfortably dry. Lonney's voice crackled over the intercom. Neil sincerely hoped that wasn't a sign of the A.I. losing power. "Well ye ha' three months of supplies, but once we go' tha hull breach ye got aboot a month now. Some of its go' the chemical composition of havin' spoiled from bein' exposed to air, and the rest was sucked oot."
"But we have a month?"
"Aye."
"How long will it take to get to the system if we fix the sublight engines now?"
"two months."

"Goddammit." Neil declared, his voice comically highpitched from the exasperation as he clenched his fist. He seemed to be on the verge of suffering some mild case of space dementia. He pointed at Junebug adamantly. "We're going to fix the hull, and then I'm going to fix the R.I.P. drive and we're going to get the fuck out of here." He didn't know what power source he'd use, or even how much longer they'd have Lonney, but while the Captain did the strategic thinking, he'd work on the ship.

First he was going to take a huge chug of water before he started to conserve it.
