I started ATLA late, around Covid. But I love the first series and think TLoK is pretty good despite some problems

I never notice someone's post count until I see (ignore post count) and then I totally look at it, out of habit and curiosity.

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Expect the thread this weekend :)
Herold had no recollection of the Krieger Trooper having any authority over him or anyone else. At first he merely looked at the trooper when he ordered him to the hull gun, his face granite and his powerful, hulking body unmoving until he decided it was not the time to argue over such things. Slowly he turned and headed toward the Chimera, holstering his shotgun as he moved after he had sufficiently reloaded the weapon.

He stepped into the vehicle and motioned for the Skitarii to file past him to enter their seats. The mechanical cultists had always been an oddity to him he didn't quite understand, but their support was welcome at least. He soon stepped over to the gun, and latched his fists onto the handles as the Chimera was fired up.

You would think by now he would be tired of mowing down Orkoids, but the fact of the matter was, it was still satisfying. The old low gothic primer of the Guardsmen sprang into his mind. "Fear The Alien. Hate The Alien. Kill The Alien." As the Chimera and the Rhino began moving, his now jittering body was perfectly honed to gun down any Xenos greenskin that had the misfortune of showing itself within his iron sights.

@SleepingSilence I could definitely be wrong, tbh. I don't follow him closely.
I don't hold any dislike for conservative views or politicians unless they give me reason to. It just usually seems to me like most conservative commentators try to make 'aha' points rather than "America would be better because this." Shapiro seems to be the most intelligent of that lot, though he's still apart of it from what I have seen.
Ben Shapiro is better and more correct than Trump and/or the GOP at large.

I would go "oh neat" but I cannot ignore that it says it started with the Drow!!?!?!? A matriarchy society! Gender has everything to do with status! Gender fluidity would collapse the entire Matriarchy! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

@POOHEAD189 You didn't actually really say anything thing substantive there. Merely giving slanderous opinions. But you didn't specify on a thing or argument said by the people in question. (Or even really get into anything you disagree with.) You don't respect Ben because you don't consider him a political activist? The helk? Is that all it takes?

Also, where's the evidence of Steven Crowder been less popular than Ben Shapiro? Says who? What numbers are we going off of here? Yeah, Ben has more twitter 1.5 million twitter followers. But Steven Crowder has 1.5 million subscribers on youtube. (And since all people on twitter are bots.) I don't really know where you're getting those numbers...I don't think you actually -know- the numbers. But you wanted to throw a random jab at someone likely far more intelligent than many "political activists".

I don't respect Ben like I don't respect Crowder, who is a political commentator. Because Ben Shapiro is more of a defender of conservative views in order to combat a leftist agenda, rather than actually trying to push an agenda that he believes will make a better world. Which is why I call him a lawyer. He doesn't have views that happen to be conservative and so that's why he is in the party. He signed up to just try and disprove leftists. While he is intelligent, he uses it to present a case for the conservative party so other conservatives who are too stupid to understand things can go "Yeah! Exactly!"

That's not even to discredit him. I never said he lied, though he is inherently biased, which is what his job is essentially.

As for popularity, it's just a guess. He seems more popular than Crowder, though he's definitely more intelligent.
Neil had to clutch the side railing of the Highlander as it jerked, having just outfitted himself for action but yet to have placed a cable on his belt. The smaller bay door was open before him, and through the scything rain and the roar of the waves he heard Junebug scream something. It took Neil and instant to look over the edge and widen his eyes at her cutting the tether, the image of his Captain getting smaller until she disappeared beneath the waves.

"What in the fuck!?" He cried out into the air, but she couldn't hear him. "I'm the one that takes insane risks, not you!"

Goddamnit, he had to move! A cold sweat had already begun to bead down Taya's face from the next room, hurrying over to where Neil was but afraid to ask him for fear of a hard truth. "Where's the Captain?" It was at that moment they could see her breaking the surface and making it to shore, a few guardsmen splintering off to aid her. "Just finish what you were doing." Neil said, and when she froze he turned to her. "That's an order!"

He might not be the Captain, but first officer wasn't something to shake a stick at and she turned and ran, Neil shutting the outside hatch by slamming the button next to the door. He was relieved to hear her voice over his comm, and he took control of the Highlander to better manuever the ship. He was a bit put off he couldn't join in the fun, at least as of yet. But he could still take control of the ship's cannons, priming them to fire as he swung the ship to the side to avoid another boulder.

Truthfully, the rocks wouldn't do much damage to the Highlander. The ship wasn't extremely large, but it wasn't a small fighter either and it was made to survive interplanetary missiles. However, the heavy storm was hard enough to keep her steady in, much less with boulders flying at it. He expertly dodges another boulder before unloading his beam cannons upon the advancing horde, cutting a terrible swathe through the advancing horde which brought a great cheer from the surviving guardsmen.

Meanwhile, Junebug made it to what lines the dozens of guardsmen had, a sergeant approached. "I don't know who the hell you are, but Prince Amalric wants to see you." He said, and passed him she could see a group of retainers and courtesans looking at her with a mixture of hope and fear from under the broken ship. Any of the men in the group could be the Prince.
@Penny
My understanding of Ben Shapiro is he is probably the best in a line of conservative 'reaction lawyers.' I.E. the right wing solution to the liberal Late Night hosts. And while the things he says are not wrong, he still does not necessarily prove any conservative points and mostly just checks whatever leftist claims he can. Steven Crowder is like a less intelligent, less popular version of him. I don't exactly respect any of them, even of Shapiro isn't an idiot. He's still more of a lawyer for the idealogy than any kind of political activist.
They won't listen. I've tried.
@Dynamo Frokane All I can say after watching that is those are some upbeat racists. Its weird to see someone trying to wholesomely rally others to a hate cause.
