I never notice someone's post count until I see (ignore post count) and then I totally look at it, out of habit and curiosity.

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Did someone order a LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE and EXTRA THICK summary?

Work week over. Posting time begins.
“Soldiers of the Imperium, Do not be afraid....”

Sax puffed his cigar, casually lounging atop one of the logistic crates next to the regiment with a few of the other Catachan jungle fighters. Men he'd never met, but by their dress and disposition, he knew they were fellow worlders. Of course, that didn't mean they spoke much to one another. Simply enjoying their downtime with a good cigar or a flask of their gut wrenching ale. Saxon sat at the head of them, closest to the regiment.

"Fall in!" a commisar's voice echoed, and Sax gave one last drag before he handed it to another trooper and hopped up. His autogun in his arms and his Catachan fang within easy reach. He slid into the lines of infantry as if he had always been. With an olympian physique such as his, one would think he wasn't as agile and subtle. But without both strength and speed, one didn't survive long on the death world of Catachan.

He stepped into the transport dropship with the others, giving a smirk at the other troopers singing. "They have high spirits." Saxon said aloud, for anyone close enough to hear. It was easy once the loader gate closed and drowned out the noise of the outer ship.
"You damned stubborn woman!" He roared at her, advancing toward her until his face was inches from hers. The Skaven were merely a backdrop to the scene as he glared at Camilla. What the hell did she think she was doing? He should have expected this. She'd grown as obstinate and stubborn as he was. By the hammer, he was going to make sure the death of his friends wouldn't be completed by the death of his lover and closest companion. "I'm trying to save your life! You-"

She slapped him across the face as hard as she could. Even for someone as tough as Cyrdic, it sent a stinging pain that brought him back to his senses. "Non lo provi mai più, stupido stronzo!" she yelled at him, and then slapped him again multiple times and punched him in the gut for good measure. In fact she didn't seem to want to stop until Cyrdic dropped his weapon and grabbed at her hands, the two flailing a bit before he managed to hold onto her wrists and pressed her against the wall.

While they were having their pat, the Skaven were not idle. The slaves and clan rats had halted and idly poked the now bonfire that lay between them and their prey. Skaven were cowards, first and foremost. But the vile ratmen were oftentimes more afraid of their task masters than anything, and a few of them scrambled onto the blazing tree only to be consumed by the fire. The Grey Seer at the back chittered and squeek. "RatOgre! Quick-quick!" Meanwhile...

"Stop it! Stop!" He said, and she struggled for another few moments as he held her. They were both breathing heavily, sweat beading down their faces. Cyrdic shook his head, but Camilla could see he had hope and life return to him again. There was a fire in his eyes, and he looked at her as he always did. Like he was mad for loving someone like her, but he couldn't help it and did not want to.

They couldn't really speak more when the Skaven had found a solution to their little predicament, and a Rat Ogre crushed the front ranks of clan rats and leaped over the brazier-like obstacle to land in their small enclosure. If Cyrdic had been well, he might have been able to slay it himself at great risk. But even with his second wind, their chances of survival were slim to none...

The crowd began to devolve into chaos, though by the seating pattern, physical logistics simply had to keep them organized in some fashion. They wouldn't be able to get out of their seats or to the doors unless they went in the lanes nearly single file. That is, for most people. Taya gasped at the situation, sure that Aiden or Junebug was going to be hit. "What should I do!?" She screamed over the noise as Neil pulled out his gun. The pilot was certain she wondered if she could help in any tech savvy way, but not this time.

"Stay down! Under your seat!" He told her, folding his chair up and leaping to its top, using his momentum to skipjump across the tops of the chairs into the royal 'killbox.' Usually, Neil wouldn't have any more luck than Junebug in a firefight, save perhaps dumb luck. But this time, he had the element of surprise on the would-be assassins. His feet landed at the very edge of the thin wall that separated the royal elevated position from the rest of the seats, narrowly avoiding (more out of happenstance than skill) a plasma bolt, to fire his own gun.

Neil's 10mm gun wasn't as powerful as his usual revolver, but he always enjoyed some punch to his weapons. The bullet struck one of the assailants in the jaw, shattering into the back of his neck and ending his life. But the pilot hadn't stopped moving, rolling over thin air to hit the ground in mid roll. As graceful as it was, he had too much momentum and slammed audibly into the back of a chair upside down next to Junebug and the prince.

Neil blinked and groaned, collecting his senses. "Got one." he muttered. Sayeeda grabbed his leg and yanked it, sending him rolling once over to get upright, though this time his head bumped the wall. If it wasn't for the fact he'd had some plates placed into his head after a dodgy mission on Corvus, it might have actually hurt him a bit. "Jesus!" He seethed, reciting a name from one of the traditional deities from old Terra. He blinked the stars away. "You didn't have t- whoa you look good tonight."

I'll need to catch up and read everything so I know which character to add, or both maybe.
@POOHEAD189

Can I also point out the coincidence that it was also the person playing the RP's Adeptus Arbites character that became the site moderator? xD
