I never notice someone's post count until I see (ignore post count) and then I totally look at it, out of habit and curiosity.

Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)

  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)

  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

phew, been doing some behind the scenes stuff today i'm excited about ;)

Also, might I cast a Tier 2 EVOCATION spell to bind the woman in temporary black iron chains?
If that is not possible, I would like to cast a Tier 2 spell to summon a humanoid demon to snatch her up. (It depends on what you think would be more flavorful and accurate to the power).

If that is a yes, then I rolled an 11

@Lucius Cypher Oh I plan on taking her prisoner, but I need to dodge her first. I am not sure I can roll twice in a single 'turn.'
@Mae Man, it's a struggle being evil because I feel for her. She's got enough spunk to tackle a guy who summoned a whip of hellfire! I will roll finesse to dodge.

I believe adding a point in Finesse adds another d6 if memory serves, so if that is the case I got an 11

Although if it is just a +1, then I still get a success.

Phardax the Ebon

0 / 6 Stress || 0 / 9 Wicked XP || 0 / 3 Reckless XP || 1 / 2 Dark Hearts

The cries of battle intermingled sonorously with the screams of fear. As Phardax crested the small rise that his compatriots had stormed over to assault the goodly host, he saw the mess they had gotten themselves into. As the Succubi was detained and the Minotaur brayed into the air and charged, he eyed the landscape for any would-be escapees. Darc's position with a rowdy Dwarf on top of him made Phardax laugh, making him loathe to try and halt the spectacle. It seemed his companions were having a spot of trouble and needed help with the stragglers. His eyes found their target once he spotted an old cantankerous Dwarf and a dark haired young woman fleeing for the hills.

Dwarves made good thralls if you broke them young, working in conditions no Drow or Man could endure. But an elderly or particularly stubborn one wouldn't serve him if he threatened death on all of his clan in the name of honor or some such nonesense. Instead he opted for the woman. Whether or not she could be useful to them remained to be seen, but he knew she had just as much of a chance of dying in the wilderness as dying here. Why not gather himself his own personal pet to new dungeon? Perhaps she could clean his domicile or aid him with gathering spell components.

Either way he had made his decision! Bounding over a few tumbled stones, he flourished his hand extravagantly, producing a whip of hellfire that hissed with steam in the mortal air. He flicked his wrist with a practiced ease, the whip encircling the helpless and very frightened woman like a constrictor snake. He pulled her in until she stood merely a pace away from him. He couldn't help giving a dashing grin, but he spoke softly and held a finger up. Perhaps he needn't cast a spell.

"As much as terror is a good look for you, you should be a bit more thankful." He told her, and slowly undid the whip around her as he held her gaze. He held out a hand to her, still whispering in his debonair voice. "I'm the only way you're going to live through any of this. Are you as smart as I think you are, or will you be food for my friends?"
@Mae Assuming BANTER is a 1d6, I rolled a 3 (sorry I forgot where the BANTER rules were!)

Two hours later...

Zeb Connor's bit the cloth and tore it around the point of meter in length, hastily wrapping it around his arm. Katiya had been lucky, taking no damage in the gas explosion, but the corporal knew he had been fortunate too. For a good few minutes there, he and the Commissar had thought they were dead; torn apart by a mob of rebels and mutants that had spotted them making their sojourn across the city. The Emperor willed them to live with a well placed gas tank and a high powered shot from his lasgun, thankfully. Now they found themselves merely beyond the curtain wall of the Governor's sector. The wall itself was thick and clearly made to last a siege, but it was obviously decorated. The designer never having foreseen it would have to face any kind of real attack until the unmaking of the galaxy.

Crouching as they moved, Katiya kept Connor's head down with a gesture even as friendly Chimeras passed them by. The quieter their advance, the better. The red tape might not be able to halt a Commissar, even a Junior one, but it could certainly slow things down. Connors didn't understand why Katiya wanted to see the Governer, but he wasn't going to ask. Better alive than curious one of his comrades on Lorn IV had said, and as far as he recalled Jenkins had made it off-planet in one piece.

Now the two stumbled onto the mulch of a small row of bushes before the wall, the only showing of their passage the bristling of the foliage. The two hit the wall with their backs, Zeb sliding down it to land on his ass. "How do we get over?" He asked her breathlessly, checking his bandage. It wasn't a ferocious cut, but he'd need the bandage for a bit longer. The metal peice that had sliced him had embedded into the rockcrete wall like butter, he recalled. "I don't suppose you got something in that-"

He turned and saw she was already fastening a bit of rope to a deployment grappling hook. Immediately the tiredness gave way to duty, and as she twirled the grappling hook and tossed it, he got back onto his feet and watched the item sail overhead to fasten about the top of the wall. Thankfully it was took thin to be a manned wall.

"I'll go. I'll slow you down if I'm last." He told her. The Commissar nodded approvingly, stepping back so he could grab the rope. Connors wasn't herculean in anyway, but he kept himself fit. Even as the bloodflow caused his bandage to redden further, his muscles expanded from the exertion and he pulled himself up the eighteen feet of wall to the top. As he crested it, he looked out over the estate and saw it was relatively unguarded, save for the building itself. Four patrols jobbed half a click away to the eastern side of the fortified manner even as a fat dignitary was out lounging in the gardens. Zeb let out a breath and slipped his back foot over, sliding down to hold the wall as his feet dangled. It helped him if his feet were merely a dozen feet above the ground than eighteen at the top of the wall. He dropped down into a thicket, getting lightly cut up from scrapes but otherwise unharmed, and he waited for his superior.
"Rán," he rumbled. The reverberations in his throat were somewhat palpable even though Mari was a few feet away. She would feel that Kane could roar or yell extremely loud if he truly felt like it, which put his booming voice earlier into perspective. That was his normal voice. "Yes, I know of the Sea Goddess. It was said her daughters had become a fallen order, but I hear many things in travel. Orek would likely know all about the Goddess. He knows how to...erm...'cut through the bullshit.'" Kane reiterated almost mechanically.

As the companions up front spoke and walked, Mari's keen eyes would gaze about the strange forest. Even so close to the settlement, the trees seemed unnaturally dark, and even the sunlight seemed slightly dim on the open road. It would be all too easy for an enemy or even wildlife to be lurking within the brush, but as she gazed around she saw little sign of anything dangerous. Instead she saw another path, well worn and made by both men and animals it looked. Far into the treeline it delved until it went over a small, leaf covered crest into the greater wilderness.

But nothing else had occurred thus far. No one had either noticed it or felt it was of any consequence.

"Well, I think you are well on your way to becoming a fine warrior, as you seem to have survived much." Kane continued. There was a small crack behind them, but it was only a branch his tail had crushed with its bulk. "I do look forward to truly seeing your skill in battle. Maybe you can duel one of us tonight for a wager of honor? After we eat, that is..."

"Don't start thinkin' of food already. We still've a ways tae go!" Orek called back to him after catching wind of Kane's only mildly loud voice.
@Luminosity
Welcome back!
Not much different than 2020 thus far.

Is that a good thing for you? Or do you mean in general.
I'm still pressed for time, but I might...maybe have the time for this since it looks like a smaller RP. I'll lurk and check it out first.
