Mortimer

The reaction from Rose drew loud booming laughter from him. He could barely stand upright. The laughter emanating from him was high-pitched and wavered on the edges of sanity. He had to grip a dresser to stay standing. After he wiped tears from his eyes, his gaze locked back on her. He held the gun tightly and straightened up. "Alright, cinnamon," he came up to her and shoved the gun into her body, "You use your power and not only will I kill you in the worst way possible, I will make sure to murder everyone you've ever known or loved. Do you understand me? So be a good girl."

He smiled and shoved her onto the bed and then moved over her. The gun was still aiming at her in his hand. "Are you going to be good, or do I have to go outside and kill everyone?" He smiled down at her and touched her cheek with his free hand. "Your skin is the softest thing ever. I can't wait to be with you soon, little Rosaline."

He traced her face with the gun and then set it out of her reach. He was not letting the opportunity get away from him. He knew he had to be quick, though, because James could come out of his traumatic flashback soon.

James

When he opened his eyes, James found himself in an empty room. He stared with panic; then relaxed seeing Jason. "What.. What just happened?" He gulped in air and stared for Rose. "Rose, where is she? Rose?" He tried to get up but his knees unbuckled. Was she mad? Did she hate him? He felt tears sticking to his face and wiped them. He felt as if he had been hit by a truck and left out to die. If he had lost her over this, he'd never forgive himself. "Where is she? I hope she didn't get mad and leave me. I have to apologize." He sniffled and stared at his twin with desperation. "Please tell me she doesn't hate me."

James' gut, which was already a wreck, tightened into a knot. He got up frantically and left the room to go find her. Something may have happened to her. It would be his fault. Thing usually were. His mind reeled when the familiar maniac laughter of Mortimer filled the air. How nobody heard would have been a mystery if he had not been in the superior. At the ripe age of 16, James thought he was having a heart attack. Rose was mysteriously gone, and now Moe was laughing? It added up. He began to yell at the other students to find where Rose had gone but nobody seemed to know. They just stared at him like he was some sort of freak. He certainty felt like one.

He frantically began tracking their phones. After using tehcnopathy and locating them, he started sprinting madly to the room. He wanted to die. This was not happening to her!

Shay

"Why are you so obsessed with me?" The words left Shay's mouth before she could stop herself. She may have been high, but alarms bells were sounding in her head. This was the man from earlier who had pissed Alex off. She stared with wide-eyes into his and gulped. The situation was real. No matter how many times she blinked, it did not change. This was a nightmare, or something out of a movie. It wasn't happening; but the scene before her did not change. Her heart was going to jump out of her chest.

Alex. He'd threatened Alex. Her eyes widened to the size of the moon, and her skin began prickling. He wasn't just a creep, but a psychopath. He seemed to be the kind of guy who believed it was him or death. Shay grimaced at him kissing her neck and his sentence. She wanted to jerk away, but the threat to Alex caused her to remain motionless. "What fucking hole did you crawl out of?" She averted his gaze and tensed up. Did no-one see? She couldn't help but wonder if Alex would be mad at her. How could he? She wasn't fighting back, but on the account it didn't harm his life. She felt conflicted.

"What the hell is your name and are you even a minor?" Her voice was low so it didn't cause attention, because she felt too afraid of something horrible happening to Alex. Was that why he left? She squirmed uncomfortably. It was minor, so she didn't piss him off."You know I couldn't care less; just so I can kick your ass later, you punkass bitch." She had to distract him but how? There was no way she was cheating.

Mortimer

The petite blonde dancing with the ex-superior/knight was gorgeous - which was an understatement. No one in the superior, not Torie or Skylar, compared to her. He licked his lips. She would be his. That was clear. She was innocent and naive and the missing princess. Nobody would know if she was gone or anything, except her friends/family. He couldn't ask for anything better. James wasn't good enough for her. The poor sapling had turned into such a scrub. The dumbass couldn't even handle a party. How did he expect to protect Rose? James wouldn't be bale to, of course. Clearly all he had to do was blast music and scare the idiot. He snickered to himself and adjusted his collar.

Once Rose was separated into the party, he moved in then paused. Alex drunkenly moved Shay towards Rose then raced off. His eyes widened with glee. This was.. This was perfect. However there was one thing: unfortunately, Rose was sober. He sighed. He did have the advantage with his power. He moved towards her before Shay could move closer. He gently grabbed her arm and smiled down at her. "You're coming with me," he told her and focused a daydream on her mind. She would see James coming out of the party and hanging out with her. He smiled and took her away from the party.

Inside the empty dorm room, he looked at her and shut the door. The daydream was off. He took out his gun and aimed it at her and smiled. "One wrong move and you're dead, Rose,"

Shay

One moment Alex was kissing her and she was returning it; the next he was saying he had to leave. Shay watched him move her towards Rose in confusion. What was wrong? As he had pushed her over to Rose, she stumbled and hit the floor. She moaned dizzily and looked around with wide eyes. Where was Rose? Had she not been by the snack and drink table? She got up clumsily and looked around but didn't see her. Being away from Alex made her nervous now. She bit her nails and looked around for him but he was gone.

Shay tried to follow but the crowd was dancing wildly now and made it hard. She frowned and tired to find the Salvatore twins but they weren't here either. Were they in a separate room? She sighed and looked down at the food table. Her stomach growled loudly. She skipped the brownies and began to stuff her face with pizza. Shay grabbed a bottle absentmindedly from the cooler nearby too and began to chug it too. She looked for her phone and began trying to text Alex instead to find out what was wrong.
I am so sorry for my absence. The past two months have been busy and also colliding with some issues. I posted now.
Perenelle

When Amelia took her seat, an awkward sideline fell before the table. Perrie let the suspense hang and smirked, turning her attention away. The young girl could sit on pins and needles. Fianlly, Xander spoke once more and redirected the attention anyway.

Perrie watched with amusement at the reactions from the beta wolves. Their instant replies made her smile. She looked over at Xander after he spoke then around. She saw hesitation and stared with a scowl. "Go on then," she urged wit an impatient wave of her hand. She sighed in relief at the first speaker: Faith- a bright-eyed bushy-tailed pink haired menace.

"Well, Vanitas and I are in," she replied cheerfully, nodding to her twin brother sitting beside her.
The dark-haired young male with twinkling blue eyes nodded. "I could go with seeing the Big Apple." Vantias agreed and high-fived his sister. She watched as others joined in and nodded.

"All-right, Black Wolf; this is your group." She nodded to Xander and looked back to the others. A few had stumbled over responding but she didn't pay mind to it. They would go whether or not they liked it. At least the twins were willingly volunteering.

Her attention was grabbed again by seeing Amelia. She smiled pleasantly at her despite the animosity brewing. "Amelia, please clear the table and then go to your room afterwards. I will have a guard check on you to make sure you're in there. Black-Wolf, you can come with me." She excused herself from the table and dismissed the others with a wave of her hand.

Drake

Drake thanked Adelaide. He paused, then nodded. He gritted his teeth and grunted as he stood up. Black dots danced across his vision and he reached out to grab Addie's arm. He shook his head with a deep sigh. "I'm okay, I'm okay, hold on..." He took a deep breath and then fully lifted himself up and let go of her. "I'll take you back to my camp," he told her in an undertone and grunted again. The son of a bitch wound was going to take a while to heal. He scrambled to think of a way to help it heal fast and sighed. The medicine... He had some left at camp, right? "Come on, My Laide."
Kate
Yesterday Night - September 9th, 12:45 am

Kate came over to Zane and hugged him tight. "We'll get through this, I promise." She rubbed his back gently and bit her lip. Could he go back to his family? Not now. Not until he had control. To tell him this broke her heart. "Not at the moment, no. You can't go back until you learn to control your thirst which takes a long time." She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. Her brother. Oh God. "We were supposed to meet Xander after. I'm going to text him." She quickly texted Xander and set hr location on so he could find them.

Fiona
September 9th - 8:20am

The reaction from the red head caused her cheeks to burn with humiliation. Was she that hideous? Her eyes brimmed with tears. She felt horrible and wanted to vomit. She said nothing and excused herself without bothering to greet Charlotte. It wasn't as if anyone noticed, anyway. She wasn't well liked here. Fiona ducked her head and made a beeline for the bathroom. On her way, she bumped into someone who grunted at her. She looked up to find it was Derek. Their eyes met; but then his gaze swept over her to presumably Charlotte and the new girl. His eyes lit up and he rushed over. Fiona heard people laughing behind her and ignored it.

"God, is she still into him?" Someone laughed, probably a friend of his. "Doesn't she have an older boyfriend?"
"Probably another loser just like her," Another kid laughed derisively. "Or she pays him. Probably that! I don't get why anyone would even want to be around her ugly ass."
"Her only friend is Charlotte but she probably just feels sorry for her."

More kids joined in but she didn't hear it. Fiona entered the bathroom and sat in an empty stall to cry. School was hell. She wanted to purposely fail everything so she could just drop out and stay at home. Then on the other hand, she wanted ot make her parents proud. Her tears kept coming and she buried her head in her hands.

Derek

Derek's gaze on Angel was locked in. He could barely remember bumping onto Fiona, or why he felt nauseous with guilt. Charlotte was there to greet her and obviously recognized her too. Thank God Fiona had left. He ran over to her but halted when a moderator came up to her. "Excuse me," The woman tapped Angel's shoulder. "But are you familiar with the dress code?" He watched out of the corner of his eyes as Holly turned to watch too and sighed.

"Spaghetti-straps are not allowed and neither are open armed clothing. You need to wear a jacket or something over it so it's covered. Unnatural hair colors are not allowed either. Please see the dress code policy and find yourself a jacket and a new hair color."

"Oh my God!" Derek bellowed at at the top of his lungs. "I can't stand seeing her shoulder! It hurts too much! My eyes are burning! Please take me to the clinic now!" He began to stumble as if he would faint. One of his friends, Kenneth, caught him and began to fan him.

"Derek my man! Wake up!" His other friend, Nina, began to do CPR as he fell to the floor (with Kenneth's help). Derek lay limp as if he had truly fainted. "I think we lost him. Rest in peace, Derek." Kenneth did a sign of the cross to bless him and wiped his eyes as if he had tears.

The moderator looked at him wit ha scowl and sighed. He fought back laughter although others had cracked up. He opened his eyes and stood up with a smirk.

"Detention. All of you, this week." She left with a glower. Derek snickered and came over to Angel and wrapped his jacket around her. "Here you go, my lady." He grinned at Charlotte. "Hey there." He ruffled her hair gently and watched Jesse beckon her over from the doorway to go to class with him.

Derek's friends muffled their laughter and looked at Derek. He swallowed and looked at Angel intently. "Is that you, Angel?" He inquired and quivered with excitement almost visibly.

Shay

Once inside, Shay felt the stress of the day wash away. She watched Rose start singing and dancing with James. She glanced at him. His pupils were dilated and he looked terrified. She frowned at him and went to come over but a group of dancing people separated them. She scowled and waved to Alex and thought to him, "I'm over by the window!" She sighed and turned to glance around herself. There were tables lined up with food. Her eyes lit up when she saw the brownies and immediately grabbed one. If there was anything she loved, it was sweets. She began eagerly munching it and then jumped when a hand retched on her shoulder. Shay looked over to see Mike standing beside her with a wide grin.

"You know those aren't regular brownies, right?" She stared at him uncertainly and then her eyes widened. Shock filled her. She thought it had been regular brownies. Regret filled her and she groaned loudly. This is what she got for trying to eat sweets. She couldn't help it. They were just so tasty.

"Oh shit - did Henry bake these?" She cried and looked over at Alex. Mike nodded with booming laughter as he watched her reaction. Henry was notorious for baking sweets and making them look innocent. She hadn't known eh had come back this semester. Shay groaned and spat out the rest of the brownie and tossed it. "I wanted to drink,"she grumbled and watched Mike laugh and move away with other friends. Usually she chose one over the other. She sighed and waved towards Alex again. God, she loved him so much. She would do anything for him. "Sorry, babe, I'm out for the night." She knew it would hit her quick and was trying to warn Alex. Now she felt guilty. She hoped she wouldn't ruin his time here.

She giggled dizzily and grabbed onto his waist once he had come over. "Dance with me, boobear. We gotta light this place on fireee." She began to sing to the music quite loudly and expertly. She had been in choir since she could remember. It was one of her lesser known talents. "Oh we gotta turn up the crazy. Livin' like a washed up celebrity. Shooting fireworks like it's the fourth of July. Until we feel alright. Until we feel alright!" Shay grabbed onto him and began to dance and kiss him as the room began spinning around her. "WOOO!!"

She hung onto his neck and grinned up at him with a wild look in her eyes. "I love you so much Alexander Remington I'll marry you right here and now if you want." She started to laugh at what she had said. Did he love her that way? She hoped so. She pulled closer to him. "Go, go insane, go insane. Throw some glitter on it, make it rainn." She had started to sing to the next song now with giggles. Her gray eyes were lit with joy and passion for him. She had never looked at anyone the same way. She hugged him close and rested her head against his chest. She was so glad to be here with him and Rose, also James; wherever those two were, anyway.

James

James' eyes could not have been wider: The flashing lights blinded him while the music made him cringe. He could feel his body vibrating from the overwhelming loud music. Out of the corner of his eye, he heard someone sing, "Don't threaten me with a good time!" and saw it was Shay. She was singing at the top of her lungs and dancing wildly with Alex. He was so thankful that it wasn't Rose. James gulped in air, unable to focus. It was almost a remake of the old superior parties, but less wild. The room began titling sideways and he felt his stomach churn. In his mind's eye, he could see Lee along with Xander, Skylar, Torie, Felix, and even Faith. They were dancing, drinking and other illegal activities. Someone was begin tortured in the other room though nobody paid any mind to it. In front of him though he saw the academy and Rose's beautiful face. James clutched his head. The room swerved sideways and he felt himself stumble. His breathing became sharp and ragged and he felt his throat tighten.

It felt as if there was an elephant standing on his chest. Around his neck it felt as if there was a noose which was beginning to tighten. Was it over? Was this it? Would he die here? James felt like it. Either he'd die or faint. He wast' aware of it but he was sobbing uncontrollably. He only knew because he felt sudden moisture all over his face and on his hands. James started screaming for Jason, knowing that if he saw his twin, that it would be okay. It meant he was not with the superior anymore, because he couldn't tell where he was anymore.

Was he back? Oh God. Had the worst enemy power reactivated? Would he be a monster once more, unworthy of Rose's love and devotion? He fell to his knees and rocked back and forth. "Jason, Jason, Jason," He ripped out tufts of brown hair, unaware of people staring at him with shock. "Cameron? Seph?" Were his siblings here, safe and sound? James reached out for someone and then curled back up as his panic overwhelmed him.

Iris

Iris listened to Sarah with interest. Despite this girls inability to communicate effectively, Iris was beginning to understand she was harmless. Still, she wouldn't let her guard down. One wrong move and she was a goner. As she listened, Iris realized that Sarah lost her parents from raiders after getting sick. The pit of her stomach churned. Being lonely was killer. Iris understood its' effects and had been trying not to dwell on it. However the constant travel must have made Sarah nervous. The farm wasn't protected. She bit her lip. Did she need help protecting it or learning how to fight? She wouldn't mind showing her how to defend herself. She nodded when Sarah explained she wasn't hungry and leaned back in her chair. When she was invited to come over by the cow, Iris couldn't help but grin from ear-to-ear.

"I'd love to see your cow. Does she or he have a name?" Iris maneuvered over the flat land much easier. However her chair became stuck in a rut and sent her toppling forward. She let out a gasp and quickly caught herself. Iris smirked and pushed herself back up and grinned at Sarah. "I'm okay. I really am. That happens sometimes." She gently wheeled over to the cow and stopped a bit ahead of it. Iris held out her hand for it to sniff, then proceeded to pet it once the cow allowed her.

Drake

Drake could hear Adelaide and her sweet voice; then feel her hands around his shoulders. He swallowed hard as he tried to tune out the pain. He watched as the man lowered his gun away from the girl riding the horse and her dog. He watched as the man spoke and grunted in pain. The offer to go to his settlement caused Drake to tense up. Trusting new people was not in his handbook - especially how it bit him in the as and he lost Tia. His muscle tense, his heart rate accelerated, and his pupils dilated, Drake squinted at the man. "I have my own place," he replied, not trusting the newcomer. How quickly he had turned the gun on them caused Drake to have even more distrust. "I can heal my side, thank you though." He watched the man cut the branches off the tree and forcibly stood up against the opposing tree. He needed his backpack - which he had dumped a few feet away. He glanced at Addie then hobbled towards it with determination.

Drake picked it up then bit his tongue in pain. He kept an eye on Adelaide and the others while he began to tend to his wound. Despite his efforts, tears of pain were clouding his vision. "Dammit," he cursed loudly and sighed. "Addie, do you think you could help me please??" He was never letting her out of his sight now that he had found her again. Drake swallowed hard as he turned to face the group and slung his backpack over his shoulder. He gestured her over once more and bit his lip. The guardsmen meant well, so did the girl. Still, they were new, and he wasn't aiming to trust them off the bat.

He turned to the new girl. "Thank you for coming to save Adelaide. That was kind and sweet of you and I am grateful." He gestured to her horse and dog while trying not to grimace and failing. "It's nice to see animals. Where did you learn to horse back ride?" He allowed silence to fill to give the girl enough time to answer, and for Adelaide to help him with his wound. He was trying to analyze the situation to find any faults of deceit, or wrongdoing.
Marcy

One minute Marcy was joking with Hunter and singing along to the radio; the next, she was screaming Hunter's name in terror as the car barreled towards them. It happened too quick for her to move. Otherwise, she would have tried to protect Hunter, but it was no use. The windshield and mirrors shattered loudly as the glass struck them. She cried out in pain as it pierced her skin all over. The car flipped twice, causing her to scream with terror as tears filled her eyes. This was not happening! This had to be a nightmare...

She wailed in pain as she was tossed around the car like a toy, banging her head against the passenger door. The noise was ear deafening. She would never in her lifetime forget the way it sounded. She slumped in her seat once it was over. She stared blankly ahead of her, drenched in blood. Her hair was matted with glass and debris and the airbag was in her face. She tried to move but her body wouldn't allow her. The shattered mirror ahead of her told her that Hunter had passed out. She spoke, her but no sound came out. The pain allover her body paralyzed her.

Marcy sobbed hysterically with shock. Hunter. - Was Hunter dead? Oh God. No. She willed him to be safe on the grass, out of this mess. Before she saw anything, her vision went dark and hazy and her head fell against the seat. What she didn't notice was that Hunter was indeed laying on the grass instead of the car.

Persephone

The unexpected thud and glass shattering caused Persephone to jump out of her seat and dive under the table. She curled up, terrified. She saw the glass in her mind's eye, the scream of her parent's, and then Rose hiding in the closet. She remained like that for several minutes, processing everything. She shook uncontrollably on the floor with hiccups and sobs. However, the screams she heard presently were unfamiliar. Xavier had tensed and grabbed Rose and held her tightly to him. When nothing happened in the house, she glanced around. Her siblings weren't yelling. She frowned and crawled out from underneath and over to the window and gasped. There was a vehicle in the street flipped over. A girl was in the car, passed out; on the grass laid an injured young man. She inhaled and ran out of the house quickly. She didn't know what she was doing; all she knew was if she didn't leave the house now, she would breakdown.

When she arrived on the scene, she saw the group of teens from earlier nearby. A brown haired boy was wailing and sobbing as he tried to pull pout the girl. She watched, though her mind was reeling. It was like a movie; she wasn't in control of her own movements. Her body wasn't real to her and she felt as if she were watching from above, now in front. She ran over and pulled the boy away with shocking strength. "You can't move her; you could break her body or kill her." He stared at her with the sweetest brown eyes she had ever seen. She gently, or in her mind anyway pulled him away. Persephone didn't realize she had used super-strength or even possessed it. "Call 911. That's how you can help her," The boy sniffled and ran over to the curb where he plopped down and began his hysterical phone call to 911.

Persephone watched a tall dark-haired girl run over and join him. After a few moments, she checked his pulse. The tears in her eyes caused it to be difficult for her to see, since she kept blinking. Her hands shook as she gripped the young man's wrist. "He's alive," The boy she had sat beside earlier sighed in relief despite his sobs. She hadn't noticed, but Xavier had his hand on her shoulder and was staring at the wreck. She cringed when she felt the pressure and slide away from him. He sighed, letting his hand fall away. Persephone stared at him and noticed he looked paler. The fear in his eyes for these teens and his shock at the incident were clear. He had wanted nothing but peace but wasn't getting any of it.

He went over to the car as crowds gathered from the neighborhood. She was willing the girl back to life. Voices filled the air around her but she couldn't hear them. Orbs of light were filling the scene, though nobody was paying much attention; or so she thought. It felt like years before they went away and there was silence. The only sounds were the wind rustling through the trees and the group crying. She looked around and stumbled. The scene materialized in front of her eyes and was staring directly at it. Persephone flinched and found people were not only staring at the car wreck, but her face. She quickly ducked her head and moved to the other side so she was out of view to the majority.

James

James' world was crashing down around him. It had gone black and white. He was barley able to hold the phone and tell the dispatcher about the accident. Once he managed to sob it out, he began to hyperventilate. He laid on his side, bawling. His sister and best friend might die. He refused to move and held his knees. Shay was beside him, comforting him with her sweet voice; though her words didn't add together in his head. He clutched his sides, begging Jason to come over. He needed to know he was safe. If he lost him too...

When the siren wails pierced his ears, eh flinched and sat up. Help was on the way... Marcy or Hunter were not going to die. He watched as Marcy's slumped figure slid a few inches in her seat without her control. He let out a gasp and squinted through tears. Had she... No. He watched as she eventually began to stir feebly, but didn't open her eyes. He inhaled sharply and numbly stood up, but his knees unbuckled. He hit the ground and trembled. "Marcy, Hunter," His voice was shaky and hoarse. "Please don't die."

The blonde-scar-faced girl from earlier glanced over at him. "They're alive. Don't worry." He stared at her and jumped in surprise. How did she know? He opened his mouth but the words came out unintelligible from his crying. "I saw them both move." It looked at is she wouldn't properly answer the question, or was hesitated. He wasn't certain nor did he care. They were alive. She was confirming it..His focus was broken as the ambulances, cops, and fire trucks. They began ordering people away, though he refused to move. He watched shakily as the EMT's began to assist Marcy and Hunter.

The rest was a blur; once Marcy was out of the car, he let out a scream of shock. She was covered in blood, had multiple broken bones or so it appeared. He started to sob again and run over madly. In the corner of his eye, he saw Hunter being helped too. Shay was following his stretcher and holding his hand tightly "That's my sister. Our sister." The EMT nodded to him and allowed him in the ambulance. Inside it, they began to hook her up to equipment and ordered him to stay out of the way. He stood in the back with his head buried in his hands, miserable.
