as a patreon reward I will read your least favorite person's handmade custom tabletop RPG homebrew and ask them why they didn't just run it in 5e instead

I started RP before double digit age but you couldn't have gotten an admission I was under 18 under threat of death. Kids just casually admiting it online now is wild.

On the bright side, they'd found Lew and Ari rather quickly. On the down side, they were already being accosted by some centipede woman monster. In all honesty, based on the difficulty level this zone was known for and the quality of the equipment they'd seen others come here prepared with, the monster would probably oneshot Ari if it got its hands on her. Hell, he could probably oneshot her with a Magic Bolt or something. But was whatever shit level of HP a level 1 had low enough to qualify for the Necromancer requirement? Eh, best not to risk pissing anyone off. Food for thought for later, though.

"Ari have what, twenty health? Thirty? Fucking anything in this zone will oneshot her!" Amulak expressed his frustration, both to vent and to warn Ari herself to stop screwing around. He sighed, shaking his head as he began to fire up one of the many new spells he'd managed to learn during his grinding session last night.

"Trzymaj się swojego fiuta!" He bellowed, using Mana Control to enhance the damage of the Spell Spear he was launching straight at their foe.
Master of Red - Rumi Fujou

In truth, she hadn't expected to have summoned an Assassin originating from her homeland when she'd conducted the ritual. All Rumi had known was that she would work best with that specific Class, and that she'd likely be better off trusting in what the Grail determined was most compatible with her rather than attempting to secure a specific catalyst.

Still, Hattori Hanzo was an interesting one. Especially with that Noble Phantasm of hers. And that a seemingly male shinobi from the Sengoku period was actually a woman. Perhaps that meant the fringe theory that Uesugi Kenshin had been female as well wasn't quite such a fringe theory after all. But there were more practical concerns to be had at the moment. An information network set up around the city already? Rumi nodded her appreciation at the woman.

"Excellent work, Assassin. Though I've been wondering while you've been gone. I don't intend to simply sit back and do nothing throughout this War. Is it possible to integrate my undead servitors with your Noble Phantasm's information network? With your abilities, we could rapidly deploy scores of reinforcements to key locations without requiring any of our sides Servants to play their hand unnecessarily."

Rider of Red - Cao Cao

This entire War was a disgusting farce. A wish to change history? Self-indulgent cowardice. There was no use in attempting to mend what had already been broken. The true path was to accept what had happened and move on. Find opportunity in one's own loss.

Cao Cao curled his lip as he beheld this small city from atop the hotel's roof. He had materialized for the moment, so as to feel the breeze with his own flesh and not be confined in spirit form. Though he was wearing appropriate clothing for the era, having secured a black three-piece suit with his Master's aid, his hair tied up in a rugged ponytail more suited to this generation's styles. Rider stroked his beard. His Master...a strange one, to be certain. Still, he supposed there could be worse. A boy(?) with the mindset of an animal was more likely to give him free reign to operate instead of micromanaging his every move. Really, this almost felt familiar, with the exception that this Master was likely at least somewhat competent in multiple fields, unlike the worthless boy whose so-called authority he'd wielded for decades.

For now, he simply watched and waited atop the hotel roof, curious to see if and when a fellow Servant or his Master required something of him.

Well, this was it. Thunderstruck Grove. Parts one and two of his quest to become a necromancer. The bounties were a nice side goal, but first things first. He didn't pour over guides and discussions on becoming a necromancer for nothing, after all.

"Right, well, I do research, know the way-" He started to say before being instantly cut off by Ari just running off on her own. "...Oh my god, she just run in." The mage groaned, burying his face in one palm. "Does Ari even have level? How much HP she have? A hundred?"

Annnd then Lew went running off to look for her. Holy shit, did these people not understand the importance of not splitting the party?

"Ooookay, I propose plan. Make sure Lew and Ari don't get stupid asses killed, then get my necromancer shit done, then run around killing shit for bounty. Sound good, yes? I have to be hit by lightning and live, so I would like HP to be as high as possible before that. Which means not eating shit from mobs just yet."

Amulak sighed as the rest of these shit cowards around him started bitching about killing kids in a video game. Seriously, had they never played a Grand Theft Auto game in their lives? Or God forbid, Skyrim 2? He rolled his eyes, sending out a message to the others in party chat as they walked off to shop.

[Listen, I'm not asking you to help me kill NPCs, I'll get that done on my own time. I just want to get through Thunderstruck Grove, capiche?]

With that sent out, he went off to make his own preparations. A brief pop-over to an armor shop for a hooded cloak to cover up the miserable clown suit that was his leveling gear before he bought the things he actually needed. Fashion was endgame, after all. But no, after that, he purchased a charm of lightning resistance before blowing the rest of his rishi on health potions, just in case he wasn't in tip top shape by the time he had to actually tank the lightning bolt to the face.

After his shopping was finished, Amulak returned to their initial meeting point, ready to get out there and get his class requirements knocked out of the way.
