Akio Tendou

Goddammit, Baka-shi, what the hell do you think you're doing! Akio could help but curse in her head as she saw her comrade knock down the yakuza leader, then run past him into another room down the hall. A bunch of naked women ran out, then he came with a box and claiming that it was the scroll they came for. This guy just doesn't pay attention to anything, does he?

Luckily for the mission, Saburo quickly retrieved the scroll, allowing Akio to release her hold on the leader and dash towards the exit with the others, taking a couple potshots at the oncoming horde of Yakuza through the smoke the the Uchiha had helpfully produced with his jutsu. As they ran down the tunnel, he noticed that they had way too many guys following them then they could really handle, and she was about to push them back with another pulse blast, but then Saburo tossed her the scroll and went back to hold them back. Curious as to see ho he accomplished this feet, she took a look back as she ran . . . and immediately regretted the action. She couldn't help but face palm as she saw that Saburo, of all people, had learned the 7th Hokage's Infamous Harem Jutsu. She then repeated the action as Saburo showed the true depths of his ignorance of such matters. One thing at a time, Akio, deal with getting the hell outta dodge now, find out how clueless the weird Uchiha kid is later.

"Let's focus on getting out of here, Saburo, then me and Baka-shi can tell you why you what you said is an extremely terrible idea."

As they went back into the thumping sound of the club, Akio quickly took to the hi-ground, using chakra to enhance her legs just enough so that she could reach the wall of the club, and easily sticking on with the wall-climbing technique. She'd fire a salvo of bolts at the approaching Yakuza, as she motioned for the other two to follow her to the entrance of the club. At the entrance, she'd fire a few warning shots to the floor, causing people trying to escape to back up, afraid of getting hit. She'd keep threatening them and giving covering fire in the form of arrows and the occasional kunai to her two allies until they made it out, then quickly following behind. Once outside, she'd take to the rooftops, hopefully with Saburo and Takeshi following close behind, taking a rest on one a few blocks away from the club. She then reach up to her headset to ggive a message to their Jonin leader, who had been completely absent the entire time. Some Jonin he was, he just made us do all the work. Lazy Ass.

Sawda-san, we've got a hold of the scroll, so where the hell are you? We need to meet up soon so we can get the hell out f here before the Yakuza call out their big guys to get it back or something.

The Bandaged Man

"Well that was rude of him, wanting to shut me out the fun like that." The bandaged man said with a soft sigh, though he wasn't too upset about it. Facing Fuji right now would be much less than pleasant, as he had to hold back his true capabilities in order to keep from becoming target from every person here. Such was the problem with having such a large bounty on one's head. Still, the lengths the man went to keep him out was touching, as it was obviously out of his care for his team. Too bad, though Fuji-San, you were too little too late to keep those delectable morsels away from me. Before the final battle had been announced, the bandaged man had managed to sneak in one more battle against a guy with 3 coins, a total weakling that had gotten lucky in his previous matches and was no challenge to him in the slightest.

The bandaged figure considered alerting the white haired man to this fact, but decided to have it be a surprise. He could only imagine the look on the old man;s face once he walked into demolish his precious chunin. He wouldn't kill them, however, they were much too interesting for that. Instead, he'd simply beat them down until they couldn't fight anymore, than maybe have a little bit of fun with them. It'd be hard to hold himself back from doing anything to crippling, though he guessed he didn't have to be as controlled since they had that helpful healer girl with them as well. If he found himself facing Fuji, however, he'd forfeit immediately, as this scroll wasn't that important to him. If that bitch wants the damn scroll so bad, she can get it herself. Too many odds against me to risk facing Fujitora here, though it would be nice to say hello to the old druggie. Maybe I'll forfeit after I break one of his chunin, then reveal myself as I make my daring escape. An idea to consider, if nothing else, as he wouldn't dare sacrifice such a important mission just to chase after little old me.

Ideas whirling in his head, the bandaged man would simply recline in his seat and wait to see what the arena had in store for him next. Hopefully, the fights from now on would be at least as fun as his bout against the ronin from before.

Grimm didn't lower his gaze for a second, and if anything, his stare only grew in intensity as he gazed into their violet depths. He lost himself in the beautiful shade of them, barely picking up on how it was affecting his model hopeful, and he wouldn't have stopped even if he was conscious of the effect it. He merely gave a low bow of gratitude at her acceptance, before turning to the vampire with a look of intense focus. His scythe would form in his hand in an instant, and his eyes would glow with a cold intensity as the skull mask would form over his face again. Before he struck, however, a golden light would spill out from the depths of his hood.

As the light shown outward, the occupants in the room would see that around the reaper's neck would be a choker that seemed to have several gem stones embedded into it. The one that was glowing was a brilliant amber in color, with a single black sphere at it's center to give it the look of a bestial eye. From this golden light came a sudden horde of spectral hounds that would fly around Grimm in a disorienting whirlwind, hiding him from sight. As this happened, rain would catch subtle wisps of fear and nervousness coming from him, followed soon by a single pain-filled bellow that caused the whirlwind to convulse wildly. This bellow would drag out as it slowly changed into a roar, before the light suddenly ceased. Where Grin stood before, a slightly different figure stood, breathing in short gasps as if he had seen his worst nightmares given life.

The most notable difference was his cloak, as the pure black fabric had been replaced with wolf fur of the same color. The hood now had the attachment of a large wolf's skull to the top part of it, a similar adornment anointing the head of his scythe as well, the metal of the blade having been replaced with jagged ivory. His eyes would gleam an amber gold, holding the same feral ferocity as that of the gem. His hair was a lot more wild looking as well, taking on a color much closer to gray than the silverry white they had been before.

The reaper would look between Rain, then axel, before giving both a wide grin, show casing that he his canines on both his upper and low jaw ad elongated into fangs. Rain would notice the change before anyone else, as he would smell more like a werewolf than what he had smelled like before, but it wouldn't be exactly right either.

"Time to get started, no?" He would chuckled, cracking a wide smile, before shooting forward to launch a kick into Axel's gut, aiming to send him flying out of the inn. Whether it hit or not matter not, because that it where Grimm would go after wards, climbing up a building with an animalistic agility before he reached the top, giving a short howl to the sky, before turning his attention back to Axel. Holding his scythe at the ready, he'd make a taunting 'come on' gesture with his fingers . . . or one finger in particular, to be specific. It seems that what ever Grimm had done, it had drastically changed both his mind and body.

Ira

As the lava fell towards the plateau, the devastated went up in a blinding glow of blue light as all of the traps Ira had set up before were activated at once, sending a large amount of pressurized water into the air. Ira would appear in the direct center of the plateau, directing the large amount of liquid so that it would fuse together into a single, torrential stream, as well as adding an intense spin to both increase the force of the attack and divert the lava that came into contact with the attack. The two attacks met in a burst of steam, globs of lava being flung all over the area around the plateau, causing a great amount of destruction. By the time both attacks had finished, the plateau was mostly unchanged, with the occasional glob of lava here and there, but the brunt of the attack had hit the surrounding area.

"Armor of the Sea Devil."

Ira would waste no time taking advantage of the mild amount of steam cover the clash had created, drawing forth his power to cloak himself first in a whirling layer of highly pressurized water. He'd then infusing it with pure crimson energy, giving the water an intense red glow to it. The armor would turn his hands into razor sharp claws, but the true danger was their ability to erode away anything they come into contact with over time. Each strike from one of these claws would infect the foes armor with the rage curse, causing it to slow weakened and fade away as the magic slowly ate away at it until their was nothing left.

As soon as the preparations where done, Ira would bound into the air to crash into Ajax before he landed. He'd unleash a savage barrage of attacks with his claws, moving in an unpredictable fashion with the ferocity of a feral beast. Then, in the middle of the onslaught, he'd suddenly change tactics. A bright light would suddenly flash in his hand, quickly forming into his Blade of Ages, which he would swing with surprising speed as he struck. While this was more of a blunt force instrument than an actual blade, it more than made up for it with the amount of force one could put into each strike, which was a rather hefty amount due to Ira's demonic strength. Not only that, but Ajax would find the stone that made up the blade was extremely resistant to even his lava attacks, as Ira would use it to block any of Lava Dragon Slayer's attacks as the engaged in a close quarter's brawl.

Revan

Revan mere shook his head as Hana told the boy to have milk of all things, and that the boy was completely fine with it. To Revan, refusing a drink for such a pitiful reason as 'being a minor' was truly pathetic. As he got up from the boy with a click of his teeth in disapproval, he'd find that Matsuki had taken it upon himself to dress him in a type of skirt made from leaves. Such a garment was flimsy and would likely come off in the revelry to come, but it was about as clothed as Revan felt like being at the moment.

"Fine by me, and let's hurry up and make merry, why don't we?" Revan then formed a particularly devilish grin as he walked up to the Viper Mage, an utterly malicious chuckle escaping from his throat. "And don't forget that you're treating, Matsuki, and it takes a awful lot of drink to make me roaring drunk. Hope your wallet can keep up." Rean would continue chuckling all the way to the bar, were everyone would see that one think he was never lazy about was drinking. He didn't bother with mugs, he drank straight froom the barrel, and would chose the most expensive of their beers as well to drink from. Needless to say, Matsuki's wallet would take a significant hit from this venture, and all of it only gave the half-demon a medium buzz, as he had built up quite the toleerance over the centuries he'd been alive. Anyone who had decided to challenge him to a drinking contest, would very much find themselves drunk under the table, as their wasn't a man alive who could out drink Revan once he'd gotten going.

The Bandaged Man

As the matches went on, the bandaged man eyes would gleam with interest as he saw the two chunin fight. Both of them seemed to be rather skilled, and seem to have a few tricks up their sleeves as well. That one boy should’ve been roasted to a fine crisp, yet he got away with only being slightly steamed. How very curious. His gaze would rest on the two for a while longer as they retreated to their corner again, before he rose from his seat, leaping down into the pit and landing with the grace of a panther. As he rose, he rolled his right arm a bit, testing it once more to see how much his movements would be inhibited. At the moment, it wasn’t by much, but he knew that he wouldn’t be able to put much weight onto the limb for fear of worsening it.

Then again, I might not have much choice. I’ll have to be more careful to avoid injury in my next few battles, as I don’t have a handy medic-nin on hand to patch me up. He chuckled before he turned to his opponent, knowing that a tough battle was on-hand. His opponent was a tall ronin that currently possessed 12 coins himself. The bandaged man had 5, so this win would give him 17 in total, and possibly a few more scars if he wasn’t careful. The ronin wore nothing but a simple yukata, and had two blades perched upon his waist, a katana and a o-wakazashi.

As the two stood across from each other, the Ronin gave a short bow, then drew his katana and took a stance. No words were exchanged, just a shared look before both figures dashed forward in a burst of speed, passing by each other with a shower of sparks. The bandaged man skidded to a halt, a kunai in hand as he doubled back for another strike, only to be met halfway by his opponent, locked in an intense struggle as one tried to overpower the other. Unfortunately for the bandaged man, he was forced to guard with his injured arm and thus was quickly losing ground. Thinking fast, he drew another kunai and thrust it forward. seeming to target his opponent’s throat. It was only a feint, however, as he quickly pulled it back, but it was enough to fool the ronin into backing away from the engagement, and allow the bandaged man to jump away from the man, launching a brace of shuriken as he did so to cover his retreat.

The ronin easily deflected them all with his blade before making another rush, the weapon glowing a bright blue as he channeled chakra through it, extending the length and increasing the sharpness. The bandaged man didn’t bother trying to block these attacks with his kunai, instead taking to dodging each and every swing, staying on the defensive and deflecting whatever he couldn’t evade. He could only do this for so long, however, and he wasn’t about to let himself take another wound to worry about. As the Ronin prepared to launch another slash, the bandaged man would snap his fingers, causing small sparks to form directly on his foe’s eyes. While the effect was harmless, it was extremely irritating to the delicate organs, and somewhat painful as well.

As the ronin recoiled with a low hiss, he swung wildly in a horizontal arc, sending out a crescent of chakra in what he believed to be the man’s general direction, but he had used the propelling winds technique to launch himself high into the sky, easily avoiding the attack. While in the air, he slipped a finger underneath his bandages to get a dab of blood from his previous wounds, then ran it along a seal tattoo on his arm, causing a cloud of light grey smoke to appear around him. From that cloud, a brace of shuriken, kunai, and a Demon wind shuriken came hurtling forth. But that wasn’t all, as the bandaged man had another trick up his sleeve as the cloud dissipated, forming another string of hand seals as he activated another jutsu.

“Shadow Shuriken Jutsu.”

Instantly, each weapon launched would multiply into about couple hundred or so copies, making about a thousand projectiles racing towards the lone samurai. By this time the ronin could see again, and as he witnessed the huge wall of weapons coming his way, he merely steadied his stance. He channeled a large amount of chakra into the blade, then launched a flurrly of large arcs towards the coming onslaught, creating a barrage of his own in the form of crescent chakra blade. These would deflect most of the projectiles away from him and into each other, as well as hurtling towards the ronin’s defenseless opponent, who had no way of escaping the attack while in mid-air. However, a sizeable number of the projectiles did get through, and while he tried his best to avoid them, his attack had left him highly fatigued.

A number of the kunai and shuriken would find their mark, leaving him riddled with weapons and unable to use either of his arms. His katan would fall to the ground with a clang, soon followed by the ronin as he sank to his knees, breathing haggard breaths. It was clear that this would be his final match, but at least his opponent had met his end. The bandaged man, unable to do anything, was struck head on by all of the blades, torn to pieces by the savage assault.

Or so it seemed.

As the attack hit, the bandaged man would disperse into a cloud of smoke, signalling that he had been a shadow clone. As the ronin saw this, he’d feel a presence appear behind him before an iron grip would squeeze around his throat, lifting him off the ground in triumph. When the bandaged man had summoned his demon wind shuriken, he had used the smoke to disguise him summoning a shadow clone, who would take his place in the air while he henged himself into a kunai. He was launched with the rest of the weapons, but was aimed at the man’s shadow instead of the man himself. While he was almost caught by the ronin’s chakra attack, he made it through and hit his target, using a hiding technique to meld with his foe’s shadow. He then waited for the perfect moment to strike.

Now with the man in his grip, and completely useless without his arms. The bandaged man decided he should have a little fun with his prisoner. But first, he would make sure the man was completely helpless. The ronin would feel the bandaged man’s grip tighten as a cold seeped into his body. His energy would slowly begin to slip away from him, pulled into the bandaged man’s chakra system as he drained it all away. The ronin didn’t have a large amount left, as samurai didn’t train in chakra as much as ninja did, and thus weren’t known for having large reserves, but it was enough so that the bandaged man felt somewhat refreshed.

After he had drained what he could without killing the man, he’d toss him into the side of the cage, causing the samurai to cry out, before he was soon silenced by a side kick to the gut. As the man fell over, the bandaged man would grab im by the hair and lift him up, taking the man’s katana in hand and swinging it around a few times, testing the feel of the blade. Then, without warning or reason, he’d take the blade and stab it straight into the ronin’s knee, causing the samurai to come back into full wakefulness with an anguished scream. This scream would only grow in volume as the bandaged man began to twist the blade around in the wound before finally pulling it out.

The bandaged man would release the ronin’s hair, letting his body fall towards the ground once more, only to launch a viscious knee right into his face, knocking him back with a broken nose and a dazed mind. The ronin would fall backwards, unable to hear or think clearly as his head rang from the impact. The only thing he could see, however, is the intense violet orbs that pierced his soul from above with a perverted glee at the man’s suffering.

“Kill . . . Me . . .” The ronin managed to say in a hoarse whisper, only to receive a savage kick to his side, shoving one of the kunai deeper into his body, producing another surge of pain through his body. The ronin coughed up a lot of blood, his breath coming out in pitiful wheezes. The bandaged man couldn’t help but chuckle at the fallen warrior’s display, as it was quite pitiful.

“What a shameful warrior, to so quickly beg for death, I wonder, are all samurai this easy to break or are you just a weakling that couldn’t take it. Is that why you became a ronin, because you thought it’d be an easier life.” The man chuckled again as he rose his foot up high, then brought it down on the man’s other knee, breaking it with a sickening crack. It was soon followed by more cries of pain from the ronin, and another round of chuckling glee from the bandaged man. He;d then pick up the sorry excuse for a samurai, taking from him the sheath for his katana and his o-wakazashi, before turning to the crowd. “Well then, people of this fine arena, I leave the choice to you. Should I end end this man myself, or send him screaming into the pit to be eaten alive but the beast that dwells within.”

The crowd respond as one, calling with a multitude of savage voices, eager for bloodshed and suffering. As one they all said the same thing: Pit, Pit, Pit, PIT!!!

Needing no more coaxing, the bandaged man, would open the door, step out to the edge of the pit, and with a final wave good bye, throw the man screaming into the dark abyss. The crowd would be blessed with hearing the man’s dying screams one final time as the creature in the shadows tore him apart, and then there would be nothing but silence from below. The man would collect his tokens, then calmly walk back to his spot giving the smallest of glances towards the spot where the Leaf-nin where stationed. He’d make eye contact with each of the chunin, each of them being able to feel his intense bloodlust rolling off him in waves, before finally landing on Fujitora. To the jonin commander, he’d only give a friendly wave and a smile that could only be seen by his eyes. He would then return to his seat, taking a moment to recuperate as he awaited his next match.

Akio had just gotten herself mostly under control, and was about to apologize to Saburo for her actions when he suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her in a seemingly random direction. While confused at first, she went along with it, confident that he had his reasons and just glad for an excuse to get the hell out of the main part of the club. After traveling down a dimly lit tunnel, they'd arrive at what looked like the Yakuza base of operations.

As Saburo whispered his plan to Akio, she only gave him a brief nod to show she had heard him. As he went to speak to the men, she immediately went into hunting mode, silently scaling up the walls and leaping over to the wooden posts, looking over the exchange with hands at the ready. Once Saburo took down of the guy's with what looked like the Hyuga's Gentle Fist, she'd form a quick string of habd seals before forming a ball of fire in her hands.

"Katon: Pulse Blast jutsu!" She'd cry as she launched the projectile into the heart of the group, her declaration giving Saburo ample time to escape the blast radius. As soon as it made contact with the ground, the ball exploded with violent concussive force, blasting everyone caught in it's radius flying backwards. While for most this would do little more than knock them down and disorient them for a bit, others would not be so lucky. About 3 of the Yakuza were sent barreling into the pillars that supportedthe room, likely breaking a few bones, if not their necks as well.

As soon as the ball had left her hands, Akio had moved from her position, swiftly moving from pillar to pillar until she made it to a hidden vantage point with an excellant view of the leader, and the scroll he possessed. Running through another string of hand seals, she gather a large amountmof lightning chakra into her hand and shaped it into a crude bow-like construct. Raiton: Thunder Bow Jutsu Akio thought as she drew the string back for a second, then fired a bolt straight into the man's back. Connected to the bolt was a invisble string of electrical energy, though it would stay invisible for long.

Takeshi, Saburo, I'm going to paralyze the leader, so one of you get the scroll and quick. Once you do, I'll send out another pulse blast to clear a path out of here.

After telling the others her plan, she began channeling concentrated amount of lightning chakra through the string, leaving both her and the Yakuza leader completely paralyzed, connected by a single string of electrical energy. This would leave her a sitting duck if any of the Yakuza had projectile weapons and could aim reasonable well. The pulse blast had bought her sometime, but if Takeshi and Saburo didn't act fast, she'd probably be in big trouble.

Of course my character's first IC missiin takes her head first into the last place she'd ever want to go, a fucking underground nightclub. I assumed it'd be packed with people because these places usually are.

Will be making a bandaged man post sometime tomorrow (hopefully), as I think I can get on a comouter by then.

Akio Tendou

Akio had decided not to respond to Saburo's comments, tuning him out for the most part until they began the actual search. While Takeshi and Saburo took to the crowds for their search, she checked the alleyways, trying to find anymsigns or signals of their prey. In the end, she only found a bunch of homeless civilians and a few drug addicts, one deciding to make the very poor choice of attacking her. This earned him a broken nose, a sucker punch to the gut, and a particularly vicious knee to the groin.

After that bit of unpleasantness, she recieved Saburo's message and made her way over to their position. She also took a moment to sigh at the Uciha's ignorance(or would it be innocence in this context) with regards to how society works. Having spent her time in the poorer parts of Konoha, she was no stranger to some of the more unsavory places where people would go to "entertain" themselves. That being said, she wasn't anywhere near to being an expert of such things, preferring to avoid these places of ill-repute like the plague, finding the establishments, and those who frequent them, to be some of the most disgusting and pathetic things humanity has to offer.

Akio arrived just as the man Saburo was talking to relented and let them inside. She also made sure not to give everything in this section of the city a disgusted glare, with relative success. She was still glaring, but it was more off a general "Fuck you" kind of glare that was common in clubs like this. When Saburo addressed her with his question, she took a second to consider giving a politically correct explanation, but decided against it. The only thing that'll come from sugar-coating things is more annoying questions, so best give it to him straight and get it over with.

"No, Saburo, it is most certainly not crucial to the mission, at least I hope it's not" Akio muttered the last part under her breath, pinching the bridge of her nose in annoyance over this guy's attitude. "This section of the city is basically where people go when they want to oogle other people with very little clothes on, usually men coming to stare at women. There are also brothels as well, where people pay to have sex with other people, again, usually men paying for women. To put it simply, it's a festering hole for degenerates and a perfect place for criminals to run wild. That's my opinion, anyway, maybe Takeshi can tell you more about it, he is the only adult on the team, if you're going by the civilian age of adulthood."

Akio finished with a wave in 'Mr. Loner's' general directiion as she went inside, instantly hating this place, and by process of association, this mission a thousand times more than she already did. Her eyes shot straight to the floor and she'd instantly cling to the first person in sight(Saburo) for support as she tried to calm herself down from the panic she could feel rising up her throat.

Of all the fucking places we had to go, it had to be a fucking nightclub. Fuck, Fuck, FUCK!!! One of the reasons that Akio chose to be a distance fighter is because she hated to be in the middle of a crowd, it was one of her bigger fears. Whenever she found herself around a large number of people, a full out panic-fueled run from the premises was usually just around the corner. One of the ways she tries to keep that from happening is by latching onto the nearest person and looking down at the ground as a way of focusing herself and tuning out the fact that she was surrounded by a huge crowd of gyrating bodies, rapidly flashing lights, and extremely loud dance music.

Akio was so focused on not freaking, she didn't notice her suden want to purchase a drink from the bar, nor Saburo's own inquiry for tge same thing. She was gripping onto the Uchiha male's arm rather tightly, so the pain from that might snap him out of it. Either way, it'd be a short while before Akio was able to calm herself down enough to be of any help in the investigation.
