4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

@Lunarlors34Where are the guild CS's again, as I don't quite remember this member.
@Prince of SeraphsYep, main inspiration really. Was originally going to have it where he has this form of grand tree magic that was all about caging people(especially dragon slayers or dragon-related beings) in gnarled, nasty looking roots, but then I decided to focus more on the death aspect.
@Natsume HonnajiGotcha, should be interesting to see how he reacts and what he comes up with.

@Prince of SeraphsTrue, but I was thinking more along the lines of what about Nidhogg's involvement specifically made for a better situation to show off such skills.
@Natsume HonnajiPerfect Strategy #1: Let the crazy guy do all the work, get all the credit.

Moving on to the actual comment, how does Nidhogg's involvement create a chance for you to show off Robin's smarts and skill at Strategizing?
Made a post, hope it was somewhat enjoyable to read. Might be trying to put up an Argus post in my next post, just to give an idea of what he's doing and keep the character fresh in my mind.
Nidhogg

"Hmmmm. . . true, that was a rather silly question, in hindsight." Nidhogg noted, "You've only barely met me, seen only a fraction of who I am, so why would I ask you such a question? Truthfully, I''m bored and tend to do and say odd things when I'm bored. Nothing interesting seems to be happening right-we should probably duck right now." Nidhogg stopped in the middle of talking for a second, before he grabbed Jasmine by the shirt and quickly pulled her down, just as a person flew over their heads, smacking rather savagely against a nearby building, before falling to the ground, completely still. Blinking, Nidhogg stared at the body for a second, only for his crimson eyes to suddenly seem to light up with excitement as he turned around to look at the source of the thrown person. He was faced with a shadowy monster that seemed to be savagely assaulting citizens and guards alike with seemingly no care for who it attacks. The sight brought a very wide smile to his face as he snapped his fingers, causing the corpse behind him to suddenly jump up to attention, the head hanging limply as the body moved stiffly over to his side, silent and unnatural in it's movements and general look.

"Quite right, boy, but I say we don't rush the situation. While I doubt the beast is that strong, no need to kill it immediately. Let's just keep the damage to a minimum and play with a bit. Have our own little match outside of the stadium, give the people a show." Nidhogg addressed the young man who was calling out the beast, though he didn't know why the man bothered, as it didn't really look like a creature capable of conversation. Stupid decision, tactically, if you wanted to kill the creature as soon as possible, but most light guild mages were dumb like that. They just don't really think about these kind of things, do they? "So, Jasmine, take a step back or two, wouldn't want to get blood on your clothes. That being said, I really don't want it in my hair either, do you know how much of a pain it is to get blood out of a braid this thick? It's maddening, I tell you, maddening." As Nidhogg turned to talk to Jasmine, seemingly not paying attention to the fight anymore, the corpse by his side suddenly twitched and spasmed before it's chest burst open in a spray of crimson, followed by flash of ivory as a spike of Ivory rushed forward to impale the creature. Whether it impaled the creature or not, a barrage of spikes would burst out of the bone, starting at about a foot in length, that would then seek out the creature to further impale it, while nearly missing a few bystanders, possibly nicking one or two of them, but no serious damage done. While this was going on, Nidhogg was looking over his hair, trying to see if he could spot any specks of blood in it.

"Better not be a single drop, or that thing is dying very slowly and painfully . . . that is, if it can feel pain. Do you think it can feel pain? Can it even bleed? Quite a mystery that is, but one I'm sure we'll soon find the answer to."

@Expolar
Gonna toss in my interest and get to work on a character. Hopefully won't take too long.
@Natsume HonnajiIf you don't mind me interjecting, it's not so much looking for a fight as much as he sees a giant shadow monster attacking innocent people. So I think if you just have him run into it while it's doing it's rampage, it wouldn't be out of character for the average person to try and stop that.
Already presented my ideas, techno path and a guy with something more fantastical, probably some form of energy/matter manipulation.
