4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

@ErmineI rolled a 9(4+5) for rejecting influence.

Edit:I'll be clearing the condition in my next action, just waiting on one or two people before I make a post.
Anyone here play Magic:The Gathering? I´ve recently been absorbed into it by my friends and am looking for advice on deck-building.

@Crimson Raven I think we have abit of a disconnect here, cause Inever intended for Sera to be unbeatable when being possessed. Set taking over doesn't immediately leap him ahead to the full amount of power he can handle, which is 10% of the god's true power. Whenever he does reach 100% of the power he can channel, he's pretty strong, it's not unbeatable and can't be held that long(5 minutes max).
@Expolar@CaitsOkay, firstly, thanks for catching that mistake Expolar, I really need to proofread my stuff more. Secondly, to respond to Expolar's second question, my idea for this character at the start was that he'd be attempting to start his own guild in the long run(which he still might try later on) in order to better protect the Elysium Crown. Now, I'm thinking more towards him running from his brother and possibly have a bit of an arc focusing in on that, since it could involve a lot of people. What I hope for him to so in this is learn
Not to rely on Set, hence why I have him Divine Words, so as to give him another way to defend himself, though on second thought, it can be a bit too strong, even when used outside of his Set form, so I might switch out for something else.

Also, in response to Crimson's earlier comment about lack of unified theme amongst the abilities, I can see where he got that impression. However, Set is an aspect of Serapis that can be considered interchangeable if Sera ever gets a new god that's less dangerous to people around him. The theme for Sera was that of the Egyptian concept of a Pharoh, a god in human form who commanded the world with undeniable authority. While the Scepter gives access to this domination of magic, it's only a conduit for a skill that technically all of the old blood have, but none can really use anymore. As such, it's practically sealed with the staff.

As for power levels, I thought I balanced the Divine Words better than I really did, should probably make the cost of the more manipulative stuff cost a bit more to cast. Set's abilities, while strong, have two drawbacks. First, it takes time to build up to a particularly threatening level of power, as the energy flows into him at a steady rate. Second, Set isn't someone that Serapis wants to release on the world, and in all but the most dire of circumstances, he'll likely cut the power flow off at the 50-60% mark, as that's when Set possessing him complete is more likely to begin, his mind slowly becoming overcome by the god's stength of presence. This puts a self-imposed limitation on how powerful he can actually get, which is A-Rank with the words, and Mid-upper B without.
@ArcanautAs I read it, rolling a ten means you don't have to mark a condition for the charge, which is the added drawback for a 7-9 roll.

Edit: Just my two cents on the issue, could be wrong.
@The Darklight ProjectPoor Christopher, Drosil is going to be all over him after that display of supernatural ability. . . and since Drisil lost the bet, he's going to serve up his own special brew. That should be fun for the trip back.
@ErmineWhat does Kiante need saving from other than flying civvies? If they're saved, doesn't that mean he's no longer endanger?
@Card CaptorConsidering your guy's name and the and of the organization, it seemed to go without saying for me. Argon doesn't have much in his power set that would justify the name otherwise.

@ErmineI should've figured I'd have to roll for that, but since it didn't say anything I kinda assumed. Oh well, turned out alright. I'll go with instability for now, having another condition would be a pain. As for the Reality Storm thing, I think that I'll go with create an opportunity for my allies.

Also, learned my lesson. Will limit my actions next time, scouts honor. Just used to writing like that, so forgive me if I flub again in the future.
@DoubleApologies accepted, and yeah, it wasn't the smart move, but an angry Kiante is a reckless one. Also, something I'd like to suggest is that any roll to analyze the situation be revealed in the OOC so that the GM can tell you before you post, freeing up the writer to make use of those details.
