4 months into this hole 'being a responsible adult thing' and I've come to a conclusion: It sucks and I want to go back to the days where I didn't have to plan out my game time.

Itsuki vs. Miyako: Part Two

Miyako's quarry proved to be a little more resilient to her attacks than anticipated and had even managed to tilt the scales as his Kagune wrapped itself around her Ukaku and then around her head. Squeezed and pressed in the man's grip, Miyako was slammed against a steel support, where she could swear she felt a vertebrae or two pop out of place with a crack, and then tossed without impunity, away from the area. Eventually landing and sliding across the concrete flooring before forcibly coming to a stop as she bashed against a small pile of bodily parts.

Battered, Miyako lay on her side for a moment, watching her opponent as he broke through the crystalline spikes that impaled him all over. She was sore, with her back being the epicenter of her problem as something felt out of place. Yet she couldn't help but feel giddy as that certain side of her seemed to creep up from the back of her mind. She hadn't been this compromised ever since Rome and since then, no fight has ever risked injury like this. The Little Monster turned and sat up as her giddiness eventually bubbled up to a quiet giggle and then eventually a full on maniacal laugh as she removed her mask and tossed it aside.

Miyako laughed for a few seconds longer before composing herself enough to excitedly state the obvious, "You're stronger than the others!" She bit her bottom lip as she admired the man before her. "Mmm... I like you."

Miyako didn't wait for a moment longer as her sanity seemed to wane and got up, wincing slightly as she forced herself to move despite her back. That did little to dissuade her from continuing, however. Once on her feet she stretched her back as she arched forward and reached a hand around, feeling the sore spot. It was probably safer to call it off at this point but she wasn't rationale right now. Not even close enough to flee.

After she examined the damage, Miyako immediately sprang into action with no warning suddenly firing yet another volley of shards to impale the man. Once the action was complete she continued to run a circle around the man slowly winding her way closer to the focus of her circle, the man himself, occasionally turning to fire another volley as she studied the man's reaction.

Yeah, definitely dealing with crazy here. . . Itsuki thought as his opponent began to fall into maddened laughter, letting out a slight sigh of annoyance. Fucking hate dealing with crazies too. This just isn't my day.

Itsuki didn't reply when the woman complimented, just waiting for the inevitable barrage, his Rinkaku tentacles waving softly around him in preparation. Thankfully for him, her laughter had allowed his legs to heal up, which meant that he'd be more agile than if she'd attacked sooner. When she rose to the ground, he caught her wincing and chose this moment to charge forward, wanting to end this woman while she was distracted. However, she responded to his dash with barrage of RC crystals, which he shifted to the side to dodge, catching a few with his tendrils and cursing as his target began to circle him, launching barrages at him when he tried to close in from time to time. Eventually he stopped, watching her circling him for a bit, before suddenly making another charge.

This time, however, three of his Rinkaku kagune would meld into each other, forming a larger tendril which he'd use with the other three to form a sort of barrier in front of himself, the tendrils catching a majority of the projectiles heading his way as he closed and, when close enough, lashed out with his large tendril fast. This attack was notably slower than her other ones, but it was followed by a thrust from the other three with the intent of grabbing her of she dodged. The larger Kagune would also split into three again, and would slam down onto the ground, either to crush his captured pray or to bring up a large cloud of dust with the force of the blow, concealing him from his opponent's view.

After her brief skirmish of minimal success, her opponent decided to charge with three of his tendrils merging to form a shield before becoming a large, clumsy weapon. The Little Monster leapt backwards out of the attack's more limited range in order to dodge it. This attack was notably slower than his previous attacks and while most would have written off the attack as just naturally being that way, Miyako's experience cautioned her about a possible farce as the man behind the Kagune shield was partially concealed. Sure enough, three tentacles darted out in a staggered spread forcing Miyako to quickly roll off the ball of her feet and fall to the side as she dodged the attack. She ended up turning ninety degrees fell backwards to the ground, partially out of design but mostly due to the close call. However, she didn't dwell there long and quickly recovered using her momentum to carry herself into a backwards somersault. She didn't know it, but this maneuver helped prevent a rather hard hit from the guillotine swing from the man's three tentacles as the impact of the hit scattered dust everywhere.

Perfect... Miyako thought to herself as a smirk crept on her face. The dust was a perfect cover for a faster ghoul and she'd take advantage of that. She sprang to her feet and charged headlong into the dust cloud, firing volley of RC cells to cover her approach towards the man. Once she found him, she would attempt an acrobatic kick aimed right at the man's cheek before following it up with a hopefully a second, more mortally wounding volley of shards.

Come on, you know you want to finish me off.Itsuki thought, gritting his teeth as the first barrage of slammed into his outstretched Rinkaku, the tendrils coiled around him in a barrier against the onslaught of projectiles being sent his way. Due to him being unable to tell what direction they'd be coming from, he'd opted for a partial coverage in every direction, meaning that a few of the crystals manage to get through, but he was able to survive the onslaught with only a few minor injuries. After the first barrage halted, he waited patiently, knowing that his foe would rush in sooner or later. She was too bloodthirsty to stay back and pepper him from a distance, that was clear already from the remains of those he'd seen walking in here and what he noticed about her during the fight.

I just need to get another hold of her again . . .

He didn't have to wait long, however, as he heard her approach through the cloaking cloud of dust, knowing exactly she was coming from and only needing to ready himself to take advantage of the first opening he saw. As she cam flying into view, he'd lash out with Rinkaku, going for a downward slam again with two tendrils, followed by the other four thrusting to impale her while she laid on the ground. He was getting tired of playing and wanted to end this now, so he could get started on looking for a new abode. This was becoming increasingly undesirable with every passing second.

Miyako was just barely able to avoid the attack, though was forced to back off, sending out a barrage of shards that peppered Itsuki, who was got a bit off guard. He was barely able to cover any vital areas with an arm and one of his Kagune before he got hit, a lot of the shards digging deeply into him and causing more than a little bit of pain. Hissing in pain, Itsuki was about to charge in again, except when he heard another set of footsteps enter the building. Turning around, he saw two Doves walk into the scene cautiously, one woman and one man. But more importantly, the man was currently putting away what he could only guess was a walkie talkie as he entered the building.

Shit! Itsuki cursed, instantly turning his attention from the loon to these two intruders, or more to the point, to incapacitating them. With his Rinkaku spread out, he'd charge towards them, causing them to draw their quinque in preparation, only to slam them all into the ground, using the power and leverage to send him flying over the two and throw a nearby window. He'd land with a muttered curse, the pain blossoming in throughout his body from the shards still lodged within making him feel quite annoyed. Normally, two Doves would, most likely, not be a problem, but the fact that one was putting something away was a telling sign that they'd called for reinforcements, and that was something he certainly wasn't up for dealing with right now. So, with that in mind, the only option that made sense was to flee, and he knew that the ghoul he'd been fighting(crazy a bitch as she was) would likely do the same.

Getting up a bit slowly, he turned only to barely dodge a shot from one of the quinques, letting out a curse as he wrapped his Rinkaku around himself, forcing his body to move even if it resisted the motions. Launching himself down the streets, he then sought out every alleyway and shortcut that he'd surveyed in this ward for just this occasion, and though it took sometime, he eventually managed to lose them by ducking into a sewer grate. Once he was sure that they weren't coming back, he quickly set about making his way down the sewer way, remembering what Hana had said about owning a clinic in the third ward. He'd heard of a similar rumor during his time in the 24th, as well as in the past couple weeks, so he already had a good idea of where it was located.

As he made his way there, he took the shards that were still left in his body out, letting out more grunts and hisses of pain as he did so. Eventually, he got them all out and was feeling much less okay than he had before. letting out another curse, he continued to make his way to the third ward, eventually exiting the sewers as he did so, using backstreets and alleyways exclusively, and doing his best not to leave a blood trail as he did so, with only moderate success. Finally, however, he made it to the clinic, barging in rather unceramoniously, his mask off and his teeth gritted with pain. He could smell a lot of humans around, which gave him pause as he thought he'd come to the wrong place, but then he smelled a ghoul at the counter, a pink haired young woman that looked a bit terrified by the sudden appearance of this bloody individual. Now, he could be wrong and this could just be a ghoul woman who had found the best place to work ever, but he had a feeling in his gut, besides the hole in it, that this was the right place.

Walking up to the counter, he leaned against the edge, taking a moment to steady himself before he spoek to her.

"If you wouldn't mind getting Hana for me, that'd be great. Need to make a bit of a selfish request. If she asks who it is, tell her Itsuki. And please make it quick, I'd rather not bleed out all over this floor and all."

Takeshi and Kazuya

Kazuya and Takeshi dug into the meals offered, Kazuya more so than Takeshi, who was still a bt red in the face, though eating helped calm him down quite a bit. It was a lot better than what they'd eaten back at the house given how fresh it was, and neither of the two payed much attention to how the meal had been acquired. They were just glad to get something like this without having to worry about the CCG or another Ghoul bursting on the scene. While Takeshi was just focusing on the meal, Kazuya was paying attention to Hana and Mii, feeling the need to put out his own two cents when he heard of Hana suggesting she teach his younger sibling on how to use her Kagune.

"I wouldn't, Hana-san, or else you'll find both me and Takeshi carved up more often than not if you teach her that."
Jian

Jian was already inside of the theater, dressed in rather casual clothes as he watched from near the back of the room, shaking his head with a soft sigh.

These things are so cheesy. . . I'll never understand why people still like watching stuff like this.

He was only here because his mother had come over to his apartment and told him to, wanting him to get out of the house and do something besides rotting away in his house. 'It's not good for you, physically or mentally. You need to go out meet somebody, make friends, do something else' and so on and so forth. His mother didn't seem to get that, thanks to the papers, the radio, and even these goddamn movers, he was basically hated where ever he went. It had been around two years since the incident, and since he had stopped doing anything to draw attention to himself, people had begun to finally leave him be, but he doubted that anyone would ever want to be around him without spitting in his face. Already he'd gotten a dirty look from one of the ticket people, and just walking through the crowd had been an ordeal, as he just figured that someone would come forward to scream at him, call him scum, a degenerate, and so on and so forth. Every venture outside into the world was immensely draining due not only to what people say or do, but also anticipating the hatred from nearly everywhere he looked. He could never let his guard down, lest one wrong word cause him to breakdown into either tears or anger-fueled attack.

Li always loved these stupid things . . . wonder if he'll come by or not.
@ChicknAre their separate Serums for each element or is there something the person needs to do to decide what they bend.
@ChicknHey, I was wondering if, as part of his attempts to train his Lava style, Jian takes the Serum from time to time to use both Fire- and Waterbending. Fire so he can get used to using such a dangerous element, and water to help him with the fluidity.
@PetiteAmbivertThat's what Sir Mauls is here for, to be the most terrifying thing on your side. Also, the one good thing about this is that Drosil doesn't have to feed Sir Mauls today.(Might be the only good thing, now that I think about.
There's my post out, and I'm lending Sir Mauls to whoever wants to have him pop in for a small amount of time during your post. But really, what could be better for a battle post than a giant centipede helping you out by eating faces.
Shadar and Drosil Maeneld

Shadar didn't know what he expected from Gartian, but what he got was laughably pathetic in both demeanor and general attitude, and the only reason he didn't break out into laughter was due to this being a diplomatic mission. Yeah, this is how I'm used to my nobles. Prideful vagrants who only care about what they want. Glad to see that Jasi isn't alone in having some fucked up nobility.

Shadar's enjoyment of the moment disappeared the moment that the mad king mad his intentions clear after the strange woman by him, almost drenched in n ominous and powerful magical taint, tried to pass of a ridiculous lie, clearly an excuse for what he was about to do, which was murder the Barcean royalty and lead the two countries into a war, all for some damned artifact that the queen apparently possessed.

Well then, at least now I can do something besides acting like a lawn ornament.

Shadar cracked his knuckles, leaving it to the others to block out the majority of the barrage of arrows, those that got through we easily avoided or deflected by his armor. Drawing one of his shortswords, he spoke in a low tone as he cast magic upon himself, his form seeming to gain a much more menacing feeling, shadows seeming to form a miasma of death and fear around him as he let out a load roar. Charging forward with the rest of the group, he met the enemy with a savage punch, putting his full strength into it and easily causing the first soldier he cam across to crumble as he took the blow to the head, his hem splitting from the force of it as his head practically burst open like a gore filled ballon, painting his comrades behind with specks of red all over them. Fearful, yet resolute, 5 men charged forward, their shields up and their formation tight as they faced the shadowy demon that the Barceans had brought with them. It was a good tactic, but matter little, as one of the men in front suddenly found himself being knocked over to the ground, Sir Mauls having joined the fray in order to assist the group in their assault. Grabbing the downed man, the death crawler pulled him away from the battle as Shadar charged forward to meet the men that had been caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the monstrous insect, the cries of their comrade being quickly silenced as Sir Mauls effectively and gruesomely decapitated him with it's large pincers, a slimy tongue darting out to lick up the blood that had stained it's mandibles.

Not that the H'kelans had the luxury of witnessing this act, as they were to busy attempting to face off against Shadar. The first man found his head grasped by Shadar as punishment for turning his attention away from the dark titan, the pain soon taken away by the sweet release of death as Shadar stabbed his blade through the man's throat, drawing it out just as quickly as he charged forward ever more, using the corpse to defend himself from a sword coming from his right, quickly pushign them back bef ore swinging the body around to smack into another attack, sending him tumbling to the ground. Shadar suddenly feel a dull pain from his side, turning to see that the third soldier had tried to strike at his side, but has blade had barely scratched Shadar's exo-skeleton. Before the man could get out of range, he found his arm grasped by the hulking figure, the pressure so tight that it caused his bones to creak.

For a moment, the sounds of battle faded away as the man looked up, eyes wide with terror, at the glowing white eys of the monster before, hoping to find a shred of humanity in them. Shadar could feel intense regret coming from the man, as well as an intense longing to return home, to his family.

"Mercy . . . please," was all the man said, and for a moment, the man saw something change in the shadowy creature before him, a softening in it's presence, the intimidation he'd been feeling before seeming to lessen a bit. However, before he was given any spark of hope, the beast's gaze sharpened, his grip ever tighter than before as Shadar steeled his resolve.

"Sorry. . ." Was all he said as he stabbed the man through his chest, piercing his heart and ending his life as painlessly as possible. Turning around, he drew his other blade, turning to face the remaining two soldiers locked in battle with him, who seemed to have also lost a bit of their resolve to continue fighting, the fear on their faces causing the titan to grit his teeth in annoyance, but this unpleasant feeling did not give way to hesitation, as he struck out at both men, the clash of steel against steel as they blocked with their shields, though the strength of the hits being so great that they could hardly lift the shields again, their arms made numb by the impact. They were then quickly dispatched by two quick cuts across their throats, their bodies falling to the ground bonelessly as the life flowed out of them onto the cold ground.Turning around, he cursed to see that more men seemed to be closing in on him, about ten this time, armed with pikes and halberds to reach over the frontline while shieldbearers stepped forward, intending to hold the giant pack while their comrades jabbed him from afar. A decent strategy . . . put not one that would work, sadly.

Sheathing his shortswords, Shadar reached behind his back to pull out his creation, the ebon blade seeming to pulse with an anticipation for battle and blood that it's wielder clearly didn't share. There was a slight pause as the two sides readied themselves for battle, and then Shadar charged forward, letting out another roar, this one mixed with magic to infuse his presence and voice with monstrous levels of killing intent, inflicting a heightened sense of terror in the men just long enough for them to break formation, one of the men turning to try and run away. It was all the opening that the Divineborn needed, his blade finding it's purchase in the cowards back, running him and the man in front of him through, only for both of them to painfully slide off the blade as Shadar engaged in a harsh spin, knocking back all of the soldiers around him, either back aways or on their backs. The glistening black of his blade seemed to hungrily cling to the blood that so tainted it's stiff form, as the blood drops seemed slow to actually fall from the blade.

Without another word, Shadar drew a shortsword and finished off two of the men who had fallen on their backs before the others could retaliate, and when one of the men tried to attack him while he was doing so, he would be met only by a blade to the gut, followed by a short flight through the air as Shadar launched him bodily towards on of the spearmen that had thought to try and sneak on him from behind, before swinging his blade to intercept another attack by a spearman, his claymore making shortwork of the weapon as it sliced through it in one swing. He'd follow this up by enacting a savage stab through the man's man's chest, straight through the heart, before wrenching in it out to deal with the final three spearman and one shield bearer. They once again got information, and Shadar wasn't foolish enough to think the same trick would work again.

So, instead of charging forward in a mad rush, Shadar would instead cautiously circle the group, keeping their attention on him. Every now and then, he'd feint a lunge forward, causing them to back away in fear and ready their weapons in preparation. They were so focused in him, they never noticed Sir Mauls until it was too late, the giant centipede barreling into the vulnerable spearmen, gruesomely ending them through methods such as decapitation and stabbing them many times with his many, many pointed limbs. The swordsman was ended just as quickly, his head being removed from his body by Shadar in one smooth motion. As the two finished their prey, Sahadar turned to Sir Mauls, before surveying the battlefield.

". . . I want you to go help anyone who needs help, oka you stupid beast, and don't stay encaged with soldiers for too long though. Hit & Run tactics, keep them on their twos, understand?"

Shadar's commands were met by a nod by the beast as it went out to assist the Barceans. Meanwhile, the Titan would look down at his bloodstained hands for a moment, before turning around towards the battles still being waged. He has only one thing to say before he charged out into the fray.

"Why do I let Drosil drage into these things?"
Vi(oletta) Hyacin

Not long after the two other students were sent flying, Ozpin would hear the sound of low purring as something brushed against his leg. If he looked down, he'd see Alice, looking up at the man with her green and blue eyes while her tailed waved from side to side. Tied to her collar was a piece of paper, which when unrolled, would read out as such.

Got your message and decided to not waste anytime, due to me being so late as it is. I already know the gist of the test already, so by the time you read this I've already entered the forest. Also, if you could just watch Alice for a bit, that would be nice, but I'd understand if you don't. Asking too much of you and all.
Signed, Vi Hyacin

@ReaptheMusic

Vi was making her way through the forest, looking around to see if she could find another solo individual, but somehow doubted it due to how late she was. Well, if that's the case, that's the case, though I'd would rather not half to get the tongue lashing from Mom about this. By the Maidens, why does this half to be such an ordeal already. Stupid Ozpin for not giving early notice, and stupid Crimson for bringing a door down on my head. Even with Aura, it still hurts. The purple haired girl, dressed in casual baggy clothes like a hoody, jeans, and the like, reached up to rub her head, wincing slightly at the pain. SUddenly, however, she turned around, bringing up her weapon as the barrel traveled down the barrel as Black Needle switched into SHotgun form, her eyes scanning her surroundings. At first, there was nothing of note, but soon after, red eyes started to glare out from the undergrowth, a pack of Beowulf making their way towards the meek-looking figure. She could tell from the way they approached and the look in their hollow, hatred filled eyes, that they didn't think much of her, not counting her as a true threat. That, in truth, was their second mistake.

The first was deciding to attack Vi in the first place.

As soon as the first one attacked, charging forward in a mad rush with claws ready to rend flesh from bone, she retaliated by launching a slug right between it's eyes, twisting out of the way as it's carcass flew past her, not a hair out of place as she stared out at the other Grim, simply giving them an exasperated look. The Beowolves responded by charging at her all at once, but before they had even begun, the maneuver was doomed to failure. As they launched themselves at her, the girl's formed seemed to fade out piece by piece, by the time their attacked would've reached her, all that was left was a sly smile, and even that soon faded away.

Confused at the disappearance of their prey, the Grimm looked about in search of her, only to be startled by the sounds of several shots being fired around them into the dirt, turning this way and that for the source of the sound, until one of them spotted the girl began to reappear just a short ways away. It took a step forward, eager to sink it's teeth into this annoying meal, only for the ground around it to erupt into an explosion of rapidly condensing cold, freezing it and most of the other pack members in ice, easy pickings for the silent huntress as she quickly picked the frozen beast off one by one. Those that weren't frozen were trapped by the frozen bodies of their fellow Grimm, and thus were ended soon after with little trouble.

After that was done with, Vi would quickly climb a tree, quickly making her way all the way to the top, where she would look through the scope of her weapon in Railgun mode to take a look at her surroundings, taking note of the giant worm Grimm that seemed to be have been killed by the other students. Hmmm, a Retrograde huh? Whoever took that down is either very skilled or packing some serious firepower . . . interesting. Moving on from the grimm corpse, she looked around until she spotted what appeared to be two other students not too far away from her position. They're already teamed up, but maybe they know where the relics are. If not, well, I can stalk them until they come across it or another person that i can team up with.

With plan set in stone, Vi put Black Needle away and quickly hopped from branch to branch until she made her way to the forest floor a couple of feet away from the other two, taking a moment to wipe some leaves and whatnot from her clothes before looking up at the two, one eye hidden behind her somewhat messy hair while the other stared out with an apathetic half-glare at the two as she raised a hand in a half-hearted greeting, her tone rather flat and distinctly lacking any true welcoming tones, though not really hostile either.

"Hey, do you two happen to know where the relics are?" she asked and then, remembering that she might end up on a team with these people(and would probably be meeting them throughout the year anyway even if they weren't), that she should probably just get the whole introduction thing over with as well. "Oh, and the name's Vi, if you care to know. Vi Hyacin, pleasure to meet you and all that."

@Rekaigan@Apollosarcher
@Crimson RavenUh, Crimson, I think they are the Rider servant. The Servant they're using matches up with the spot and the GM's silence is quite telling that they don't see anything to correct.
